The service at the bar was a bit slow. We were the only ones sitting in the restaurant and there was one table outside so we were of course wondering why so slow? Especially since we were sitting directly in front of the bar but Elena (manager, who we later met) was very on top of it with the bartenders and staff. I can tell she expects a lot from her staff and is very hands on. Customer service from everyone was great and we had a nice chat with Elena. The sweet and spicy wings were plentiful with the right balance of heat and sweetness. Finger licking good. The mozzarella sticks were hot and fresh, goey inside. I didn't care too much for the tomato sauce though. The lemon drops had the right balance of vodka. I did come for happy hour though and our server didn't let us know there was an upcharge to make it a martini. I wish he communicated that bc this was my first time there and I let him know I wanted whatever was on happy hour. The hookah was $20 on happy hour. I would say as someone who smokes a lot of hookah that it does need some more work. It got harsh really quickly. And even though it was mixed with mint it didn't have that cool/menthol feel. They were nice enough to remake it but I still was charged for a refill when they only changed the charcoal. I would say the hookah not hitting the way it should be contributed to my overall experience as it a hookah lounge and I came for hookah and wanted better hookah. There is a parking lot in the back We found out this is more like a college bar. It did get packed quickly with a mixed crowd. I was really excited about staying a stones throw away from a hookah bar. Y'all! This place wasn't it. Nice open patio. There was live music but that's where it begins and ends. The staff was not attentive. I only ordered one beer. I wanted to try the hookah.. didn't trust what I saw. So I didn't try it. Just had the $4 beer and called it a night. If I could give it one star I would. The bouncer working on Saturday 12/14 at 1:15am was a rude and disrespectful jerk. He refused my 18 year old guest entry (the age to enter is 18+) and my guest had his license proving his age. We kept asking "why can't he enter?, he's 18, look at his license." The guy was incredibly rude and kept saying "I'm not asking you I'm telling you." We visited the Oasis Lounge on a Sunday afternoon. The atmosphere was a little relaxed and there was a live band playing, making the evening a little more enjoyable. I went out to have a ladies night with my girls to kick off the year. Instead, I was assaulted and man handled out of Oasis by what I presume to be the manager. We were catching up in the front when a 5'4 white male comes rushing in screaming for people to move out of his way. As requested, my friends and I began to ease our way through the crowd to create space for him. As we walked away, I tell my friend "we should leave" since it was getting late and frankly we were all bored. Suddenly, I'm rudely interrupted when the manager OVERHEARS what I said. He turns and starts yelling at me to leave then snatches my drink, which I paid for, and smashes it on the ground leaving broken glass flying in the air. I attempt to calm the MANAGER down and instantly he gets violent pushing my friend and I. Immediately, he aggressively grabs me and yelled for me to leave again, I verbatim said "DO NOT touch me, I will go but DO NOT touch me". Clearly he was too drunk to comprehend, grabs my body even tighter without giving me the opportunity to walk away. I proceed to defend myself and push off, to the point where I nearly fell on the floor where all the broken glass was. I've never IN MY LIFE have been kicked out of any establishment. Will NEVER be returning back here and neither will any of my friends. Violence should not have been the first reaction especially when I was in no way aggressive or disrespectful to begin with. I am a WOMAN and should be treated as such, Oasis should get a different manager because he clearly doesn't work well under pressure. This was just a bad choice. We did a quick random search for a hookah place. We wanted good drinks and a hookah. We get here and got seated right away. Music was mellow which isn't what we expected but sat and kinda of ignored it. The decor feels like we are in Puerto Rico or Dominican Republic..basically poorly put together. Waiter comes and first thing is we are out of hookah so you have to wait unless you want the Egyptian which is more money. So we are like we will wait 10 minutes and make a decision and proceed to order drinks. We ask what scotches they had and waiter said "I don't know, you have to go to the bar and ask." My friend asked for a coffee. "No, we can't make it because chef isn't here." Ummmm, what!? Is she serious? So we keep it simple and grab some beers. I see 3 tables pay and leave so I waive her down and tell her the hookahs are not being used and she asked flavor we pick and off she goes. Comes back about 15 minutes later after we see all the hookahs taken back to other tables and says "you're on the waiting list again." So I hide my annoyed face with a smile and say "can you honor the price of a regular hookah since it's not our fault you are a hookah bar "out" of hookahs." She says "of course, that's what I said before." We we're all like but ok so she goes for it. Comes back and brings the wrong flavor. So now at this point I opened Yelp. Now she brings a regular hookah with mint. The hookah was mint but was so light and then about 5 minutes lost the flavor. The menu has wifi with the wrong password because Oasis is misspelled. We also ordered two cigars, they had a cutter but no lighter so we had to use hookah to turn them on. All in all, stay away. read more
