Only 7 seas? This place felt like it had at least 78 seas and several hundred sea lions! Never in the history of linear time has there been such a nexus of pure sexual power and energy in one location! I can say that this bar was probably the first place I've been where you can openly drink with white sharks, sexy people, and pictures of celebrities you thought died but live in our hearts. The bartender Stephanie made me a drink so strong I was sure it had recently been to a Planet Fitness. Please frequent this place and enjoy their comedy nights by Raul. Your life is missing something and that is the 7 seas.

Ask the Community - Seven Seas

Sometimes there's food when I've gone, is there a day or time that it happens?

Food comes from outside food vendors who set up outside and work independently. While we try to have them come on our busier nights it's entirely up to them.

From what time does Karaoke start on Thursday & Saturday?

If you are a fan of the university of Miami and I've never been here then there is a 100% chance that you need to go! Boy if the walls in here could speak, Jimmy Johnson, Howard Schnellenberger, Dennis Erickson, Ed Orgeron, countless number of players over countless decades have all frequent in this spot. You can spend hours or perhaps days looking at the memorabilia on the wall, and the good news is the new owners are really even more friendly to the university. As far as the food and drink goes it is definitely a dive bar. The beer is cold, the drinks are strong, the food is decent. The burger and the wings are the best. Service is good and if you're ever there on a Sunday morning don't forget to say hello to Mark. Tell him Jeremy sent you!!

I tried a burger w/ cheese & jalapenos & sweet potato fries, the BF had a classic burger, both were pretty good! It's pet friendly as some friends brought dogs & parrots! So definitely very inclusive & diverse! I did not know about the cash only rule for groups, so they let me pay with my CC :) I would definitely visit again!

To call Eddie's Place a dive bar doesn't quite do it justice. That makes it sound like some…read moredecrepit old watering hole that gave up on itself years ago, and that's not the case here. Eddie's, established in the early 70s, feels more like a career criminal who found religion, just got out, and now swears he's trying to get his life together. Would a true dive keep a decades-old black-and-white tube TV around so you can watch your car? Additional amenities include an ATM, a combination photo booth/jukebox, and even a cell phone charging station, which means Eddie somehow supports bad decisions and the evidence they leave behind. This isn't Eddie's Bistro or Eddie's Café, it's just his Place, so don't show up expecting anyone to cook for you. Aside from chips, the bar skips food altogether. Still, Eddie's plays to its strengths: it encourages you to bring your own food or order in, as long as you keep the bartenders busy. "Cocktails" arrive in ribbed plastic cups, but shots and beer arrive in proper glassware, which is this bar's version of caviar service. A free pool table anchors the room, while one corner hosts beer pong and another area for old-timers to throw darts. Drinks run from $6 to $12, and Happy Hour sweetens the deal with 2-for-1 wells until 8 p.m. That special feels a little sad Monday through Wednesday, when the bar opens at 7 PM. However, it absolutely slaps Thursday through Sunday, when doors open at 2 PM. I rolled in after The Mandalorian & Grogu, which is exactly the kind of demoralizing movie that demands a drink. It was Goth Night, although the DJ seemed to be the only person who got the memo. She kept the room moving with dark house and classic goth tracks, giving the Place the energy of a house party with a fog machine and a hit-heavy playlist. Eventually, she veered from Bauhaus and Combichrist into Bruno Mars and Calvin Harris, which felt less like genre betrayal and more like a Wedding DJ loosening their tie. Eddie's Place delivers the holy trinity of a proper neighborhood bar: cheap booze, zero pretension, and just enough chaos to make you stay for one last round over and over again.

At one point, I saw him place, one foot at a time, on a chair to tie his dirty sneakers and not caring to wipe the chair down when done. He did, however, break a smile towards the end of our meal, just around the time our bill came. Ambiance - Yes, it has a pub feel but there's nothing stellar about it. I know it's a neighborhood staple, but the pizza place next door had all its customers. The place was half empty when we were there. Food - My husband told us about the Tuesday deal: $8 hamburger with fries so we went to try it out. * Hamburger - lacked seasoning and flavor. Bread was hard and everything is, thereafter, à la carte for $.75 or $1 so it's actually $8 plus. * Fries - salty * Caesar salad - salty * House wine - $8 for what seemed like a 6oz pour. Overall, this place was a pricey disappointment; but then again, I'm not at an age that dines solely on crafted beers, thus, will notice the poor service and food.

I talked the friendly valet into letting me park between a handicap space and a dumpster. The service was awful. It was 1:30 pm and there were about 15 customers with capacity for 100+. I was given a menu and a glass of water timely and the lady behind the bar seemed friendly. There were plenty of staff around waiting tables and backing the bar. I ordered a blackened fish sandwich and a draft beer. The beer came right away in a plastic mug. The pour was less than 12 oz. (small mug) and the brew was barely chilled. Almost room temperature. After 20 minutes and no fish sandwich, the bar lady came by and asked me: "Did you get your fish sandwich?" I said no. She then went in the main building (presumably where the kitchen is located) coming out a few minutes later while holding up 2 fingers, mouthing "2 minutes." The sandwich was $22 without fries (which were and extra $9 as a side). I didn't order those. The half-pint warm beer was $8. About 7 minutes later, another server came from the main building and delivered a scrawny, soggy bun containing a thick, small, undercooked, hunk of blackened fish flesh only 80% skin free. I had to finish the filleting myself. The toppings were parsley and onion. It was the ugliest and most tasteless blackened fish sandwich I have ever been served. I should've taken a photo. Anyway, by this point, I was in a hurry to get out of there as the place was a total fail. I picked at the fish with my fork and knife and ate the part that was actually meat and cooked, leaving the rest (skin included) and the soggy bun on the plate. With an 18% gratuity included, a simple grilled fish sandwich with no sides and a warm beer came out to almost $40. On the positive side, the view of the water and the Miami - Brickell skyline was good. However, I won't be coming back to this joint again. If I could give it Zero stars, I would.
