She refused to show us the bill and told us, "No, it is not." However, my husband became suspicious because the bill seemed unusually high, so he only left a $4 tip. After we repeatedly asked for the bill, she finally brought it over while apologizing and, unsurprisingly, we discovered that gratuity had already been added, causing us to pay extra for tips. We didn't want to be petty and just left but she did not even serve us water. The person who brought out our food was the one who asked whether we wanted water and brought it to us. As someone who has worked in hospitality for years, this is completely unacceptable.
