I would continue to return just for the sultan's special. Amazing, well prepared dishes. Attentive, kind service. Lovely ambience.

We came for Valentine's Day. The food there was so good! The Iraqi Quzi was flavorful and moist lamb shank. The bread was crispy and soft all at the same time. The atmosphere was really nice too. Food was good. However, the service was not so great. We were charged for each refill on our drinks and weren't even told. We were also told that the piece of cake was going to be complimentary for my husband's birthday, but then ended up getting charged for it. That's not how you treat your guests. read more

Wonderful new mediterranean spot! Best of this genre that we have tried in DFW. The ambience is very traditional, as well as the menu, which they deliver perfectly on. Unique dishes that we have never seen before, like Ezme or the Iraqi Quzi, were fabulous. Will definitely come back again. read more

We visited this restaurant for dinner last night for the first time. We were promptly greeted. They have a nice atmosphere. The staff was very attentive. My best friend isn't a fan of hummus but tried it because I ordered it. She ate more than I did, she raved about it. We both ordered the Kabab Sultani and OH MY GOODNESS, It was absolutely amazing. It was PERFECTLY cooked and seasoned. It almost melting in your mouth. I'm usually not a taken home person but I definitely took the rest home. I can't wait to visit again. 10/10!! read more

My husband and I visited last night, and we were impressed with the food. We did a combo for 2, and it took me by surprise that everything was delicious! My favorite was the salmon, unsure of the name but that was definitely my favorite. The babaganoush was also good. The initial bread that they brought out was amazing. The toasted sesame seeds were a bonus. As far as the service goes, my favorite was the guy that is in the picture from the front menu. (Maybe owner?) Something about his positive energy... it made the visit more pleasant. The place is open, tables are spread out. The other waiter that brought out the credit card machine, if I were to critique this part - please let your customers know ahead that there's an additional 15% tip that was already automatically added to the bill. This is to avoid your customers being upset or assuming one being dishonest. I literally tipped 22 bucks for a 49.99 meal so 45% tip for a party of 2, but all good. Food was great, and people are working hard, so they do deserve it! read more

We really enjoyed the variance of spices and flavors, we ordered the Baba Ghanoush along with it and it's definitely one of the best we've tried in the area. Tried it out for lunch. Pricey ($23 entrees) but it was very tasty, and one entree is enough for 2. We had a bread, felafel, and spicy chicken, and enjoyed all. Rice was nicely separated and light. It was encouraging to see the owners there (recognized from the website photo) and they looked confident, but I think they missed a chance to say a quick hello given there were only 3 tables occupied and they were sitting talking. I'm a big believer in welcoming guests if you hope for regulars and word of mouth business. Decor is attractive, open and airy without being cafeteria-like, but they need to replace the blown lightbulbs. Just little things make a difference. Manager was efficient, chipper and friendly, but again, could have been more chatty - we gave him several opportunities (like asking about food items and saying it was our first time there etc.) but it was a very transactional experience. Maybe asking for tap water not plastic bottled water with our cokes was a problem. Manager said he'd give us the bottles without charge. Seemed odd. Overall a good food experience, with an upper m-level casual eating vibe not restaurant (or at least was today). We will return to try other dishes - maybe evenings have a little warmer atmosphere. PS - Remember: Unless you're a big eater you can share an entree - and that helps the cost. read more

OMG this place was so clean, big and nice. The staff went out of their way to serve my large party of 14 right away. Every appetizer the Zatar and meat pie was sooo fresh.
