Sukiya is a cute little spot adjoined to a boba place off of Pearl St. We went on a Sunday and it was easy to get a table for 3. We got the Black Garlic Tonkotsu and seaweed salad. It was delicious. Broth was warm and flavorful. It was a good place for a quick bowl of ramen.

We saw that Sukiya had recently opened and decided to have lunch there. It's a smaller space, but still a sit down atmosphere. I love the decor and display of drinks including sake and non alcoholic beverages they have. We started with the gyoza which is served with an actual sauce, but also a sauce "crisp" on top which adds a nice texture. I ordered Godzilla ramen and my husband had a rice bowl. The service was quick and the portions were massive. They unfortunately were out of green tea when I went but I still really enjoyed the experience. My husband enjoyed his bowl and thought it had a great balance of flavor. The Godzilla Ramen had great flavor and spice to it, however, there was an earthy flavor I couldn't quite put my finger on. The egg was cook perfectly as well. I look forward to coming back and trying more items including the curry

We came to try out Sukiya Ramen at this location, but the experience was disappointing. We stood for quite a while before anyone acknowledged us, and when a waitress finally showed up, she just said, "Sit anywhere." There was a group in the corner where the adults were loudly cussing the entire time -- even with a child sitting right next to them. We had two young kids with us, and another family with a child sat nearby. Everyone looked uncomfortable, but unfortunately, the waitress did nothing to address the situation. Service was also very slow. Our ramen came out before any utensils, and we had to wait again just to start eating. The ramen itself was okay, but mine was quite salty. Honestly, if we hadn't already ordered, we probably would have just walked out. I've had much better experiences at their other locations. This visit was disappointing, and we couldn't really enjoy our meal.

Love the aesthetic of the place. Great location, great service, and great food. Will be my go to spot for ramen from now on.

It is more breading than chicken. Flavor profiles were good but could've benefited from being more crispy to add some crunch to the plate.

Good service, food was good for the price point, and the ambiance was pretty nice. Not many people there so you could speak comfortably.

Service was fun, nice and very helpful describing the menu and making recommendations. Paid enough attention to us while also giving us the space to enjoy our meal. We started with the pork buns- it was a different taste than I expected but it was still good. Had a hint of ginger I got the seafood ramen and it did not disappoint! The broth was absolutely amazing! My friend got the spicy teriyaki chicken. She made a very happy plate so I'm sure it was just as amazing as my food was. Portions are fair for the pricing as well. It's also attached to a boba shop that we didn't try.... Next time because there will be a next time

My overall experience was okay. I was expecting a lot more considering the tagline "the best ramen in Denver". My Miso ramen didn't quite impress me. It lacks flavor compared to another place we went to. We also ordered chicken karaage which was crispy and delicious. Service is good. Servers came by to check on us but looked like they hated every second of it. They didn't smile but they were courteous. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the area and our food. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful at night. It is hard to find parking as there's only street parking. Keep in mind that this street is mixed residential and shopping/dining area. Please be considerate!

I came here out of curiosity and to succumb to my ramen fix as my first time in Denver, Colorado. The neighborhood is pretty quaint, quiet, and clean. The inside of the restaurant was typical of a casual dine-in. The server was pretty nice and attentive. The bowl: I looked at the reviews and saw it had 4.6 stars, so I thought to myself, why not? It should be as good as the Denver folks say. I ordered the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen bowl because it was pretty cold that day and wanted a little spice in my life to warm up. I must say, I wasn't fully impressed. I think the bowl was fine. BUT. The spice mix or spice bomb they put on the pork shoulder took away the taste of the ramen. It was too loud in spice flavor but not in heat (I am hoping this makes sense). Maybe it comes like that, but it seem like they smothered the "Spicy" specifically on the chashu, instead of in the ramen broth. I wanted to change my order, but I was pressed for time. I am giving it 3.8 stars mainly due to the spice situation. It was reasonably priced so complaints there. Would I go there again? I may if I get a different bowl to order. If not, I would not be upset.

I loved how the outside and inside of the building looked, especially getting to the side door, the pathway does make one feel in Japan, with aged, washed lanterns hung low. This being the newest location of Sukiya Ramen, it's also the first time I tried this chain. One of my friends was very impressed with his meal. While I could definitely think of a lot worse ramen joints, or places that serve ramen, this was probably not the best I've had. I tried the beef ramen - something I don't normally see on menus. Hubby being the smarter one, went for the traditional Tongkatsu with the creamy soup base. I thought both were pretty standard, and could benefit from a tad of added sweetness. The squid balls (forgot the proper name for this dish!) and the Japanese style fried chicken as appetizers were both satisfying. They came out piping hot! Dessert wise, we were surprised they didn't have the matcha flavored mochi ice cream. But both strawberry and mango were pretty good, not sure if they were made in house though. I'd dine at Sukiya Ramen again if I find myself near one, but my journey of finding that perfect ramen place still seems elusive...

My husband and I were looking for a good ramen spot close to our house and this place is wonderful! It's very trendy and upbeat when you walk in. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. We both did the DIY Ramen bowls and were not disappointed! We both got the super spicy broth and varying proteins. The drinks are also great and it's pretty affordable! Definitely would recommend

Delicious! From out of state & on our last day got some rain & wanted some ramen! No regrets! So delicious! I got the spicy chasu miso ramen & my bf got the chicken spicy miso. We cleaned our bowls so filling & the broth & noodles were so flavorful. Service was a little slow but we weren't in a rush & they were kind!

Drink menu featured several imported Japanese bottled beers on top of the common ones at reasonable price. Ended up getting the house salad, chicken yakitori, spicy tonkatsu ramen and yaki ika. The menu leans classic izakaya--small plates meant for sharing--but everything comes out with care and confidence. Skewers are grilled properly, not rushed, with just enough char to matter. The ramen is rich without being heavy, and the broth tastes like someone actually paid attention to it for hours. Even the simpler dishes feel deliberate, which isn't always the case with izakaya-style menus. The atmosphere hits a nice balance: lively without being chaotic, cozy without feeling cramped. It works just as well for a casual dinner as it does for lingering over drinks. Speaking of drinks, the sake and Japanese whiskey selection is thoughtful and well-paired to the food. Tatsu doesn't try to reinvent Japanese cuisine--it just executes it well.

Uncle makes me want to move to Denver! To start the ambiance is really chill and inviting with warm lighting and offers countertop as well as table seating. Our server was amazing and explained the menu well and made some recommendations that did not disappoint. We ordered way to much food but I do not regret that because I got to try so many amazing dishes. Despite ordering so many options they even brought us a chilled tofu dish complimentary (no clue why but not complaining) and it was lovely! We shared the uncle salad (amazing!), thai shrimp, eggplant buns, several different nigiri/aburi nigiri and sashimi and the toro toro and spicy tuna roll. All of the sushi was fresh and had excellent pairing of accompaniments. The only dish that I remember being a miss was the soft shell crab buns. The proportion of bun to interior was off and there was way too much mayo. Everyone got their own ramen which they seemed to love. I ordered the Veggie Khao Soi per our servers recommendation and I am still thinking about it weeks later. It was a curry/ramen mix and had big chunks of trumpet mushrooms in it and the perfect amount of spice that I love. What a cute little place!!…read more It was late in the evening and I was getting hangry. I was craving ramen and Neko came up during my Yelp research. They were open late, so we decided to go. The restaurant was popping at 22:00 on a Friday. We were greeted warmly by staff. It was intriguing to us that we ordered via an iPad kiosk as if we were at a boba place, but we didn't mind. However, usually only to go orders are placed on a kiosk. In my hangry state of mind, I had not realized that Neko only serves their ramen with chicken broth, so for those of you who prefer tonkotsu broth, this isn't the place for you. For that reason, my husband had to order a chashu rice bowl instead. Personally, I enjoy both paitan and tonkotsu. I went with the black garlic ramen. It didn't take very long for our food to arrive. While we waited, we dispensed water for ourselves from the soda fountain. I was a little confused upon receiving my black garlic ramen, as I thought the black garlic oil would be more prominent. I was assured that I had the right bowl. My husband enjoyed his chashu rice bowl. I had a small bite and the pork was tender and well-seasoned. The paitan broth was very umami indeed. I would have liked to have more of a black garlic flavor, but it was still good. Next time I would just pay the extra $2 for more black garlic oil. The noodles were bouncy, and the chashu was tender. The egg was deliciously jammy (alas no photo because I devoured it). I saw they had soy sauce and hot sauce, but wish they had the classic chili powder so I could have added some to my ramen. Neko Ramen & Rice hit for late night noms, and the cat-themed decor all around (since Neko means cat in Japanese) was such a vibe. They also serve curry, poke, and various small bites if you want some apps to enjoy before your entrees. If you don't mind chicken broth for your ramen or will be ordering rice bowls instead, Neko is a fun little place to come dine at, especially since they open late.
