I walked in and was picking up a suit for someone else but thought it was a nice spot and wanted to potentially get my next suit from there. But when I came in, I wasn't even acknowledged by the 3 people at the front and was given weird looks. Wanted to love this store but it was evident pretty quickly they need to re-evaluate their customer service standards. My husband got his wedding suite and was helped by Jace. When we picked it up after it was tailored there were obvious stains on the jacket that weren't there before and he couldn't get them out. So, we agreed on going down a size and then getting a new jacket tailored as they didn't have any more of the original in my husbands size. Jace promised it would be done on 10/1. 10/1 came and we heard nothing so we texted Jace. We had several back and forth calls where we were told it would be done, then told it would not done. Meanwhile, the business day was almost done and we were leaving the next morning for our wedding. We told Jace we would come and just take the suit as is. Twenty minutes later when we arrived we came to find out Jace had left for the day without a word and the suit was actually done?? Very strange behavior from someone in customer service. It was unnecessarily stressful and could've been avoided with simple communication. We also weren't given much of a discount/refund given what we were put through. Take your money to an actual suit place, that will back up the quality they sell to you. I have purchased 3 suits, and 1 of them has worn out between the upper leg area. I'm a big fan. Last time I was in, I ordered a new suit from Cory. I also got some new pants and I requested that they fix an old pair of pants. They agreed. I come back three months later to pick up my suit. My new stuff is ready. My old stuff? Missing. Entirely my fault. They toss it after a month. I wish they had given me a phone call. But they'll look for it. I go back in today to see if they've got any results. I meet with Cardell, who helps me. He tells me no go. Then I ask him if I can order two new pairs because I still have the jacket. They don't make the fabric anymore. My suit jacket is ruined. Useless because the fabric is out of stock (forever). Cardell talks to the manager. They're making me a whole new suit for free, even though I should have picked up my damn pants. I'm really impressed with both Cardell and Cory for their work and I'm impressed with suit supply for making things more than right. I needed a suit quickly for a job interview. Typically, appointments are best however, time was limited. Omar greeted me at the door, and after sharing specific needs and price. Moving into the read to wear suit section, Omar walked over the display, pulled out one suit, put me in a dressing room and it was perfect. He ran the alterations and tag, and within 20 minutes from walking in and then out, we were done. I was told the suit would be ready the next day at 11 am. We got there and the suit hadn't been altered. He promised he would move the suit up to the first position from the back six. He asked me to come back today. No alterations had been started. Axa, the tailor, was accommodating and said she would start working on it. John, the manager came over, apologized, and the suit was ready within five minutes. Some, considering the alterations snafu would give a less than stellar review. Not I. There was a quick amends, the situation was addressed post-haste. Great Job Axa, John, and Omar. I went in with the expectation that I would browse the store as a first time shopper and left out with an order of 3 custom made dress shirts. Austin did a great job of finding the perfect fit for me as well as walking me through the various options of off the rack vs custom. As a consumer I am all about the experience. If I am going to spend my hard earned dollars at any retailer I like to know that my business is valued. Not only did Austin make a sale on that day but he made a repeat customer. I plan to come back in the near future to shop for additional wardrobe purchases. Went in with low expectations after receiving less than optimal customer care at similar establishments (IE mens wearhouse, etc) I was blown away by the customer experience. I would not better recommend another clothing store. This makes custom formal wear approachable, and while not inexpensive, nowhere near prices other stores will expect. My first experience working with Christian was exceptional. He took the time to help me understand options, fits, materials and general important details around the selection and purchase of a jacket and trousers. Despite not buying sport coats from Christian, I found an epic orange jacket which he helped customize for me. The money spent in this store is an investment, but the cost is nowhere near other mens stores offering a similar product and service, and the customer experience was absolutely exceptional. In addition, one may imagine a chain store like this would feel overly corporate and stale, but this assumption could not be farther from the truth Even when it came time to pick up my jacket, Jason (the store manager) made an exception to unlock the door 1.5 hours prior to open in order to give me the jacket in time for an event that evening. The suits are good material and form well to the body. My rating is bad based off my customer service experience. A month in advance of the event: Initially I called the Dallas store multiple times waiting to not be answered besides once. I also set an online appointment and no one showed up twice. I went in store (40 minute drive) and my initial experience was great. Got one on one help and got a customized suit. However, the wedding I'm attending is a month away and I'm concerned. I was told and it also says on the Suitsupply website that the suit would be delivered in 2-3 weeks. I asked for reassurance and the person working with me said if something went wrong they'd give me a suit to wear until I got my other one originally ordered. The rep gave me their email and told me to email them if anything went wrong. I was so happy with my experience and I thought I was going to buy suits here for the rest of my life! 3 weeks later, I finally receive the tracking number, so it is late and now week 4 with the wedding 4 days away (Friday). It said the shipment would be delivered Monday. It was not delivered so I called customer support that Monday. They told me ALL the managers were notified of my situation and would contact me. Tuesday goes by and no one contacts me. Wednesday I try to call the Dallas store and again I'm on the line for hours at different times with not one person picking up the phone. I call customer support and they told me they opened a investigation with UPS that will take 8-10 days before they get an answer of what happened to my suit and that they were sending a SECOND round of emails to the managers of how urgent I needed a suit. No response. Thursday morning I call customer service at 8am and tell them I still have not been contacted after the managers being emailed twice. The rep told me that they personally informed the manager at the Dallas store and that they would contact me as soon as the store opened at 11. It's 11:30 and I get no call, so I call customer service and they tell me they don't know what's going on and that I should go to the store. Keep in mind, each time I called customer support they said I'd have a suit to the wedding and that I could return it afterwords (borrowing). I drive 40 minutes to the store and worked with a store rep finding the best off the rack suit available for me. During this, the rep isn't fully attentive to me and has me stranded in the store at periods of time. Then he tells me after talking with store managers and other customers that they can't let me borrow it until I get my custom suit as originally promised. They told me I must buy a suit. I looked at the manager dead in the eye and told her I was told multiple times that I'd have a suit in the rare case my suit never arrived to the store and if Suitsupply would keep their word. She says "well we said we can give you a suit before your event, but you have to buy it. It's on UPS and not us, so there's nothing we can do." I could've paid it, but I'm not gonna let them step on me as they have this whole experience, so I left. They broke their word twice. The suit was not delivered in 2-3 weeks and I was not given a suit to borrow. Yes it was UPS fault, but it was also theirs. If the suit was delivered in 3 weeks as said, they could've rushed another custom suit out to me. Simple as that. Therefore, they should've just gone through with what was promised. Me being sad and irritated, I called customer support again and asked if they would do anything about the situations as I was pretty much promised so many things and don't have a suit for my event tomorrow. They say they contacted the Dallas store managers and we're working on a resolution. They told me I would be contacted in 30 minutes about a resolution that was created for me and that I should stay in Dallas. An hour passes and I was not contacted, so I call customer support again just to be told they were going to work at the situation the next morning when I leave for my event. Customer support contacts the store again and says the Dallas store can get you a suit right now (they also didn't have my color needed black), but that means your custom order is canceled and the credits are used to buy this new suit. Just a bunch of money hungry people. I just wanted to borrow a suit on this scenario as things did not go as plan because of Suitsupply Store Dallas irresponsibility to get the suit delivered in 3 weeks, answer their own customer service team, communicate with me, and compensate me as planned. I'm was not asking for a free suit, just a suit I could borrow until I got my custom made one. I also emailed the rep who gave me their email in case of emergency, she never responded. I was in Dallas for 5 hours and left with nothing but anger. Through the whole process I was being polite when I had every right to express my anger. They took advantage of it. I waited 15minutes (from the time i decided to keep time) and watched Alyssa, and Victoria at the register discussing store politics or some other obvious BS. Initially undecided about writing a review in regards to my recent visit to the store but it is long over due. Not my first visit to the store due to the fact I bought my wedding suit from here in 2017 which I loved so much. I truly love the materials and selections offered in store and online. Walking into the store sales associate seem disinterested offering any assistance. I looked past that no big at all; pretty much did my shopping online already just trying to see the product in person to see how it fits. Finally one of the gentleman came over to assist me when he felt I like I was actually going to make a purchase. None of the items I wanted was in store but it was ordered for me. Came in a few days later to try it on after the order arrived and complete the alterations on my pants and shirt. Walked in today the guy that was helping with my alterations from the previous day. Looked away as soon as I walked into the store pretended like he was busy doing absolutely nothing standing there. One of the young lovely ladies came over to offer an assistance to locate my clothes for me. One of the sales associate assisting me in particular was extremely rude, pretentious, obnoxious, and aloof during his interaction with me. In addition, customer service needs major improvement I did not feel welcome at all based on the vibe I received maybe it's setting around the area who knows. I wanted to shed light on this situation and honestly the product speaks for itself but the customer service is lacking in all areas. I have worked retail myself in the past maybe that's the new norm based on my interactions with the staff is horrendous and unprofessional in all aspects. I do commend the ladies that worked there. Seems like they are more attentive than the egoistical, narcissistic guys that worked there. I am extremely disappointed with service I received recently. Great store but customer service needs to improve. We love the designs as well as longevity of the clothes. On both of my visits I have ordered couple shifts as they didn't have the size I needed for my husband, I was charged for the items and was expecting for them to arrive within 2 weeks to the store. After nearly 3 weeks I have called to check on the item and was told they do not call the customers to let them know item is ready for pick up... hmmm whoever made the sale should ensure he completes the transaction and at least reach out to check in if we gotten the items! Well this didn't happen. I was offered a refund but simply that is not what I want nor expect after the 3 week wait. We are always offered coffee or a beverage in the store. On this visit we worked with Minh, who knows more about suits than anyone I have met. He thoroughly explained fabrics, fits, styles, etc. and eagerly answered every question that I asked. I am a huge nerd and I research everything, and Suitsupply is consistently rated as having high quality (raw materials, manufacturing) suits and very reasonable prices.
