The shrimp was very mushy and cold. As a buffet you guys should be remaking the food every 30 minutes

There have been a few…read morewrinkles that I will mention but am willing to forgive because the food really is so delicious. The feijoada is one of the best I've ever had. No off cuts that would scare away those intimidated by some of the more rustic ingredients that are sometimes found in feijoada. There are beautiful ribs and delicious smokey flavor here and nothing to fear or peck at. The condiments. The chef from São Paulo has a real mastery of condiments. His salad dressing will literally turn you into a salad person even if you don't enjoy or typically opt for a salad. There is a little vinegar-based pepper condiment for the feijoada that perfectly balances the wieght of the dish. Don't sleep on any of the little liquids in plastic cups that are served to you. They are all gold. The few issues I've had are regarding communication to customers. I've driven to the restaurant during normal business hours THREE times in a row to find them closed. On two occasions they closed early because it was a slow day. This is especially odd because their hours are lunch-focused as opposed to dinner focused. This is common in Brazil but I feel a little out of place in the U.S. Being closed for dinner is not great, in my personal opinion. Another time they were closed for participating in a culture festival, which is wonderful, but when I called before coming there was no automated message or any type of communication at all informing me that they wouldn't be open that day. It was irritating. Despite the above, when you can make it in, call to make sure they are actually there, and your visit will be well worth it. They are a tiny, family-run kitchen, and I'm ok overlooking to bumps in the road for superb food and very nice people.

I highly recommend it, specially if you're into Brazilian food, but regardless, every time I'm around I have me some. I haven't had the other dishes on the menu but I bet it's on the same level. Very clean space and fresh ingredients, I mean you can tell. The chef is super friendly and interact with customers frequently, I say that because every time I come here I see him talking with them. I think it's worth mentioning because I don't see a lot of that around, most places they're in the hurry and don't really give customers that special treatment. Its family owned and family oriented.

Our server kept disappearing or forgetting what we needed. When we did happen to get their attention, for more water, another drink from the bar, dessert and our bill. The requests were not handled efficiently and we felt forgotten often. Just one example, It took twenty minutes, asking twice and having a completely different server to bring us the desert menu. Also, had to ask different servers to order more drinks from the bar and to refill our waters because I couldn't lay eyes on our server for almost 45 minutes. When we finished our long awaited drinks and desserts, it took another hour 15-20 minutes to get our bill. The bathrooms needed cleaning and toilet paper refills. Two of the stalls in the ladies room were empty. The trash near the sinks were overflowing with paper towels. For the price they charge, they should have a server in training walking the floor refilling waters for the customers. Also someone checking the paper products and the trash in the bathrooms is very much needed The only reason I gave 3 stars and not 2 was because I absolutely loved the food So if you can get past the bad service the food is definitely worth it

You walk in and are greeted with only a table number and a point into the other room. Which is fine except once you get there you have no idea what to do next. The plates are around a corner along with the silverware and napkins. So you have to first find them. After that you go get the buffet food and then find the place with the meat. Finally when you stand there looking like you are lost with a plate of food they will call you to a register to pay $12.99 a lb or all you can eat for $26.99. We chose all you can eat because we love Brazilian and knew we would be back for some more of that delicious meat. It was ok at best. The bacon chicken and garlic steak were the standouts. Everything else was under seasoned or very dry. My husband kept saying how little effort they put in to everything. No salt and pepper on tables. No napkins nearby. No one comes and takes plates or checks on you. You are just left to figure it out yourself. There are plenty of better places that I would choose over this one.

The only negative thing about this fantastic buffet was their subjective pricing. As other…read morereviewers mentioned they sometimes change you more per pound (if you're paying per pound) if you have "more meat than buffet items." I tried to balance out my plate to be half and half and scored the 14.49 rate but if the staff thought I had too much meat I would have paid 19.99 per pound instead. lol. Otherwise I was a fan, the meat was tender juicy and flavorful (especially the steak) and the buffet items were really good as well (polenta and fried plantains were standouts) The wait staff were just okay, my waitress was just standing near the front and I tried to get her eye contact but that didn't work so when the manager came by to check on me (she didn't) I asked him if he could send her to pay. Overall a decent experience but because of their pricing model I won't likely come again.

It was our first time and we just got in line, luckily, someone let us know we had to go up and leave our name with the guy holding the tablet ; there were no directions/signs or staff to direct. Despite the crowd, we were seated in about 20ish minutes. We did the per pound option instead of AYCE and that's what most folks were doing. Service, once we were seated, was attentive, food was good. They could have done a better job at keeping the buffet options stalked, they were out of 3 options. This is definitely a more casual place, no frills and closer to an everyday Brazilian churrascaria. Overall, it was fine, if I were in the neighborhood and looking for a bite, I would stop in again.
