I have ordered many cakes from Sugarlips over the years. All of the cakes have been amazing, not one bad one. Recently, I placed a cake order and there was a misspelling of the name. The owner went ABOVE AND BEYOND to fix it. The owner has always been so nice and the staff as well. Definitely will continue to come back. read more

Came in for our wedding cake tasting and they had an entire little nook set up and decorated for the occasion. Probably the best wedding vendor experience so far. They had our flavors made up already in cup cake form along with the fillings. The co-owner gave us suggestions and walked us through the cake process with how big we wanted it and showed up frosting and decorating options. We also wanted to add other deserts along with our cake and she gave us samples of their brownies and atomic bar and gave us the options for those. She was very accommodating and gave us top choices from other weddings and ensured everything would fit within our package we had picked. Great experience, great tasting cupcakes and desserts. Excited for the final product. read more

Sugarlips is such a fun community-family friendly bakery! They always have new flavors and seasonal flavors of cupcakes, they are all delicious!! We love to swing by for cupcakes and surprise friends with them. We also love ordering custom cakes from them too. In the summer they have "summer fun days" which is unlike anything I've ever seen another business, especially a small family owned business do - it's a total give back to the community and something my family always looks forward to each summer. Their customer service is outstanding and they go above and beyond to make sure your order is exactly what you want or in my case beyond what I could have even imagined! We ordered a custom "Barbie inspired camping" cake and I really had no idea what to even tell them what I wanted but they came up with the most perfect and amazing cake for the birthday party, my daughter loved it and of course the adults enjoyed it too! read more

I was gifted a 2 pack of lovely cupcakes from Sugarlips by the ever so awesome Grace O. They were beautifully crafted with some decorative Christmas light bulbs on top (Which are actually plastic toy rings you can wear too if you so desire). The cake inside was heavenly soft and moist. My cupcake with sprinkles on it had Christmas colored chips in it too! Very cute. The frosting was so light and creamy. The frosting did give me a feeling of sugar overload the more I ate it though. Overall these cupcakes were stunning and a good choice for a gift! read more

Today I bought a cupcake without the sprinkles. Diets are hard... ;) I tinkle sprinkles. Anyways, who doesn't like cupcakes? If you don't like cupcakes, I don't like you. Like seriously, remove me as a friend because I breathe, sleep, and eat cupcakes like whoa. So this super cute, shabby chic, pastel dream of a cupcakery is ridonkulously close to my house. How I have waited so long to stop by is beyond me. After discovering this cute shop, with the most adorable nook and decor, I stopped in two days in a row. In my defense, the second day was on Saturday during their Happy Hour, from 1PM-2PM, where cupcakes can be bought for a meager $1 [normally $2.50 during non-HH]. $1.00! Why waste calories and fat in-take on a Hot & Spicy when you can get something sugary, cute, and possibly has edible glitter!? Plus you'll be supporting your local cakery! Like at all places, they have some really good stuff and stuff that isn't quite as good. Granted, I've only tried six cupcake flavors and a brownie so far but I must say that the Nutella gots me hooked! It's not too sweet and I think the topping might be whipped cream which is my favorite kind of cream to go on a cake. I'm not too crazy about the Pineapple Rum, the Salted Caramel was a bit too sweet for me even with the salt on top, and the Pink Champagne was decent. I have high hopes for the Red Velvet that I'm saving for breakfast tomorrow [Yeah, I'm the kind that eats a cupcake for breakfast. Bite me.]! The cake itself can be a little dense but they're still moist. It's not quite fluffy but it's still delicious. Seriously y'all, come to Sugarlips to make your sugary lips even sweeter! I just ran my first marathon today. Just kidding. I had two cupcakes for dessert. This place is gonna turn my ass into a Pokemon --- a Jigglypuff. :( #AddingLifeToMyDays #NotDaysToMyLife read more

Can't beat their Happy Hour on Wednesdays from 4:00 - 5:00 pm and on Saturdays from 1:00 - 2:00 pm, where their cupcakes are only $1.00. No need to check your glasses. That's right - I wrote $1.00. $1.00! Their cupcakes are good. The cake is light and fluffy. I am a pretty big fan of cupcakes being soft heavenly pillows in your mouth so these do delight. The frostings are gosh darn tasty too. By far the best cupcake on the menu is their TRIPLE CHOCOLATE. It was deemed the clear winner by my office coworkers. It is chocolate cake, chocolate frosting, and chocolate sprinkles. A triple threat of chocolate goodness. I'm now on request (required) to bring much more of them to work next time. My personal favorite was the almond raspberry one I had a while back. The filling really made it something unique and special. Plus, I'm a sucker for edible glitter in frosting! I'm glad Sugarlips is close to where I live to fulfill all my spur of the moment, spontaneous, cupcake needs. read more

My daughter had her wedding cake made at Sugarlips Cakery. It was simple and elegant, beautifully done. The 3 layer cake was moist and delicious, enjoyed by all. Red velvet cake with cream cheese filling, almond cake with cherry filling, marbled cake with dulce de leche filling. There are many more options if those don't appeal to you. I highly recommend this bakery. read more

We discovered Sugarlips over a decade ago when they made our wedding cake. I was planning our wedding from out of state and they were super accommodating of my vision which was a little out of the ordinary and required the purchase of small cake pedestals for all of the tables. Because I had no use for them after the wedding, we split the cost and they kept them. Fast forward, and we've used them for birthday parties, baptisms and the recreation of our wedding cake for our 10 year anniversary. Really happy with Sugarlips! read more

The Sugarlips Cakery team is top tier (pause for cake joke :) ). From the very beginning of our wedding process meeting with their team to pick out our flavors and design was a breeze. They helped bring our dessert dreams to life by customizing our cake size to allow for our budget to include bite sized brownies and cheesecake (a huge hit! There were none left at the end of the night!). Even a year later when we defrosted our top tier for our first anniversary it still tasted amazing. The next time we need a special cake or dessert made I won't hesitate to order with Sugarlips! read more

This is an old photo, but one of my favorites. I loved this day. For ever in my memory! My son had so much fun at Sugar Lips bakery! And we all enjoyed a cupcake. The cupcakes are delicious. Always on point, always moist and perfect. I have been a client since 2019 and never had a single complaint. Everyone is always so nice and service is always so quick. This place is incredibly hard to work with and unreasonably priced. I paid $450 for a cake for my 4-year-olds birthday party. From the start, the customer service has been absolutely awful. Everyone on the phone is rude, and they are even ruder when you enter the store. To start, I asked about delivery and they said... "ummmm we don't do that" as if it was the dumbest question someone could ask. They follow that up with "we are not liable for any damages to the cake after it leaves if you choose to pick it up yourself" Which makes absolutely no sense. I drove 20 minutes to pick up the cake and the "um we have to charge you $50 extra for the board on the bottom of the cake" was not done. They tried to just hand it to me without saying anything. When I asked about it they said "umm ok it will be 20 mins" no apology. Nothing. I couldn't believe it. My 4-year-old was with me and they made no eye contact with him. If you need a good place for cakes, message me! I have a great person, that was unfortunately out of town for the month of November. They deliver, let you sample the cake before buying (this place acting like I was crazy for asking to sample "um you can buy a cupcake if you want to try"). One of the most disappointing experiences. So bummed! read more

Believe, and take the time to read their 1 star reviews (There's plenty). Those aren't paid for by a business owner to seem established. They're the REAL customer experience! I wish I had. My wife ordered from here for our daughter's first birthday. Looked like garbage and got the entire family got sick. Called to let them know so they didn't get other family's sick.
