My go-to spot for sugaring! The staff is always friendly and does a great job to ensure they are providing a quick, comprehensive, and sanitary service. The place itself is very clean and smells great! Compared to the prices of other local sugaring spots, I'd say this one is more affordable, especially if you purchase the monthly membership! The only downside is the parking - it's located off of a busy street and has a small parking lot that's shared with the salon next door and there are designated parking spots. Depending on the time of day, it can be difficult to find parking in the lot, so you may have to find some on the surrounding streets, which can also be challenging at times. read more

I am super unhappy with this service. The color is rubbing off and I have destroyed every piece of clothing I wore over the last four days and every towel I used. My color would have been a good shade if I wasn't all spotty. My feet look dirty and overall the color is uneven. I did a machine spray at another place a couple of times before and my results were much better. It is really annoying when people ask for tip. I need to be the one to decide if I would like to leave tip and not made feel uncomfortable. read more

Sugared and Bronzed South Bay blows everyone out the water compared to other salons. First, the staff (starting from the front of the store all the way to the back) is so so pleasant. I had an 8pm appointment and they all gave me summer morning 8am vibes. I felt the energy and I absolutely loved it. went in to get a ran letting person sound the ran know i have olive undertone and i and very fair skinned please don't make me orange. She recommend a level three which indeed turned me orange. It is also darker in certain areas of my body where she went over it multiple times and is very uneven. Afterwards the receptionist basically enforced that i give them an 18% tip..... welcome to America lol. Why am i tipping for a $60 spray tan (before tax) that's done at a chain franchise. The salon itself was dirty like they don't wash the walls and they don't change the floor towel in between clients. First and last time trying sugared and bronzed. read more

They do a very thorough job, including going in with tweezers to remove stubborn spots and ingrowns. The experience is as painless as possible due to the advanced techniques used by all the employees. They also apply soothing oils after which feel amazing and help with inflammation. I tried to do have a spray tan with my mom today. We were going to meet there. My mom had additional appointments for waxing pre spray tan. She had texted them and THEY planned it. When she arrived they told her it wouldn't work and she wouldn't make her spray tan even though THEY COORDINATED IT!!! They were very rude to her and she was so upset. Then when I tried to cancel my appointment they CHARGED ME! why would I want to go there if they treated my own mom that way. I'm just sad for my mom. No one wants to see their own mom that way. I'm happy that I found this place via google search. It is very clean and beautiful inside. I've been coming here for about seven months and all of the ladies have done a fantastic job. At first, I was a bit nervous about not being able to book with the same person, but now I love it. I feel confident that if and when someone leaves there will always be a good sugarista to take care of me needs. I am a member and the complimentary facial sprays are an additional benefit. Every one of the girls who have sugared me has been super AWESOME! They are so friendly and talk with me through the whole process. It's literally 10 min out of the month to completely make my girl parts bare. It's pretty painful on my pain scale but it's over really fast and tends to get easier the more often I go. I've been to the Hermosa Beach S&B 3 times now in the past 2 month and they are so nice, my spray tan was amazing each time!! They really pay attention to my requests and make sure my tan is even and I'm satisfied before leaving!! highly recommend if you want to be nice and bronze in an instant! This months experience, however, was pretty disappointing. I had a mixup on appointment time, and received a call from my sugarista at 6:05 asking if I was going to make it to my appointment. I apologized profusely, stating I thought my appointment was at 6:20, but that I was 3 minutes away. The girl on the phone was very rude while explaining to me that I had to make it in by 6:10 to be seen. My experience in service was no better.
