The outside reminds me of a few bakeries in the town I grew up in, like it has been around forever. The first thing I noticed was that it didn't smell like a bakery inside, you know that freshly baked bread smell? It wasn't there, which I found weird. The woman behind the counter was very pleasant. There is a great selection of breads and buns, the white bread is like candy. Not so good for you, but yummy! I decided from the selection of donuts, cookies and tarts to try out the cinnamon buns. They were $5 for 6, not too badly priced. The loaf of breads seem to go for around $3 each. One thing about the cinnamon buns is that they were not that big. I did like that they weren't too sweet, so I was able to enjoy them without my teeth hurting and they were soft and fresh. I didn't mind this bakery, but I don't think I would go out of my way to go to it. I do think it is worth giving this place a try, then you'll know if its baked goods are for you.

Although I wanted to buy more, I only bought a coco crunch croissant and a strawberry cloud cream donut (marscapone cream cheese, whipped cream, condensed milk, egg, butter, flour and sugar!). I prefer this location over Chinook as it has more selection since the store is larger. I would recommend trying this place. I normally purchase the almond croissant and blueberry mochi, but they were sold out. Needless to say the donut was absolutely amazing! So fluffy and the cream wasn't too sweet, it was absolutely perfect! The croissant was also crunchy with a custard filling. Absolutely delicious!

The beef pasty was delish and would be great for a savory breakfast or filling snack. The service was super friendly and we were told that everything is made fresh and with no preservatives - another great reason to visit!
