The place is near my credit union, in a nice quaint community. The ice cream signage looked so advertising I decided to have ice cream instead of lunch; but I quickly realized that I made a mistake. The cashier was so nice, I did not want to turn away when it took too long for her to come from the back and take my order. I ordered a banana slit, but they had no peanuts, and the hot fudge was not hot. It came out in lumps. I then chose, what I thought was m&ms, but was not. The candies were so hard I hat to spit them out. The fudge was nasty so I raked it in a plastic bag I had in my car. I ordered ahead and when I came to pick up I was pleasantly surprised that the flight comes with 6 different flavors. I ordered the Tutti Frutti, Rose, Masala, Jamun and the double chocolate flavor. They were all so tasty. The flight was 6 mini scoops so it was nice to try all the different flavors. I really enjoyed the Tutti Frutti which came with little jelly pieces inside. The ice cream shop is in a small corner shopping center with plenty of parking. The signs don't stick out so it was a little hard to find but it's in the corner of the shopping center. SINGLE SCOOP - 5 IIRC, it was 5.00 for a single scoop, which is cheap compared to Arlington/DC pricing (which is at least +1, lol). I got the Coconut Chocolate Crunch tonight which tastes like an Almond Joy without the almond. There was so much coconut flakes which I loved. I'm not sure what else was crunchy about it except the coconut flakes, though. The chocolate was nice and subtle. Overall, solid ice cream flavor. Rude, and overpriced. I go in for a milkshake, after seeing the large, full baker sized chocolate chips I begin to ask if mint chip would make a good milkshake. The employee immediately cuts me off to say "they're all good." Thinking they must blend it up, or use a large straw, I order it. Lo and behold, I'm charged $8 and given a small cup with basically a cocktail straw. I ask the employee if he has a larger straw and he says no but I can order something else and be charged again if I like. The fact that he scoffed at my concern about ordering a drink that wouldn't fit up a straw, to then hand me a drink that doesn't fit up the straw... never coming here again. read more

In the tiny shopping center off a busy road by Jermantown! Nice little place to stop by for some ice cream. They have plenty of flavors and the service has some sweet workers who will let you sample some flavors! I did try the Chocolate coconut crunch which was pretty good but had to go with the classic Green Tea and Strawberry. Honestly, as for the ice cream itself - does not seem anything out of the ordinary. Simple flavorings and ice cream - nothing too notable to note. What a find!!! We were at Seavs, veterinarians for exotics like our parakeet, and stopped for ice cream afterwards. Best Indian ice creams, had not tasted chikoo for a long time, and the pistachio saffron. There are so many more great flavors to try, we will be back next week. I found sugar mama's and honestly, the draw was the massive scoops they give! This place is located in a small plaza but easy to find. Their shop is open and welcoming. They have a small spot just for kids. They have ice cream related quotes on the wall for folks who are all about the 'gram with their food. They have lots of ice cream flavors and it's my understanding they're homemade. They offer mini scoops for 50c, which is a cool concept... except I was interested in the double scoops! The scoops are like a size of a baseball. They are not shy. And they aren't ridiculous with the prices. I think it was $5-6 for a double scoop on a waffle cone. It was great. Loved this little ice cream spot this evening. It's a small hidden spot in fairfax but worth the trip. They have plenty seating inside and a few seats outside. I loved the plethora of flavors, toppings, and options! On top of being great quality and having very different flavor options (like white chocolate raspberry, espresso chip) it's also very inexpensive and the portions are great! They do brownie Sunday's, banana splits, and fried ice cream. It's the perfect spot for families, dates, and casual ice cream cravings. The hours are awesome too they don't close till 9pm and stay pretty busy. I loved how they had golf ball size scoops for $.50! I wasn't feeling super hungry and I really wanted to try a few flavors so I opted for this. I got the coconut, espresso chip (recommended by the cashier), and the cookie dough with rainbow sprinkles of course. Each flavor was awesome. Good but not great Ice Cream. Can we get serious now? The Ice Cream portions are great, and so are the prices. I have no complaints there. I do complain that when I got a cookie dough cone, there was barely ANY dough! It was mostly vanilla ice cream and chocolate chips! Not to suggest it was bad, but where's the mouthful of "dough" chunks? When you get a bite of one, it shows the potential is there, but I might have only gotten two bites of the actual dough. Sorry for the meltdown there, but it stands to reason to put your product, IN YOUR PRODUCT. The waffle cone was a delight and though crackable the little pieces create a little floating vessel for the Ice Cream and you can use other pieces to scoop up and use the cone as an improvised spoon. I guess my standards were too high for this Ice Cream parlor. Maybe I would come back and try something new to compare, but overall it would be best to try somewhere else. read more

I don't think you can find a price this good any other place around Nova. My favorite flavor is mint chocolate and I tried their mint chocolate Oreo. It was so good.
