Midweek lunch about 2:00. Pancake was perfect. Big, plenty of fresh ingredients. Tasty dumplings. Service was cheerful and timely. The dining area is small but the artwork makes it seem larger. It reminded me of places I've been to during my trips to Korea. read more

Overall the food was delicious; I would have liked bigger portions for the price point. Very clean facility and I look forward to going back to take a cooking class with friends. Note: they offer takeout and classes only! read more

Sue's Kitchen is NOT closed!! They do Korean cooking classes! I took one today that was FABULOUS!!! Sue and her staff were charming, professional , welcoming, knowledgeable, and inviting! We made a very yummy dish called Bibimbap. It is filled with so many yummy flavors staring with fresh vegetables and your choice of protein. The cooking experience as well as the final product were DELICIOUS!!! There were also many extras offered by Sue and her hardworking staff like dumplings, cucumber salad, kimchi... I highly recommend this class! Thank you, SUE!!!! We will be back! read more

Delicious authentic Korean food. I got the spicy noodles (cold noodles with gochujang and hard boiled egg), which hit the spot -- perfect for the really hot weather. Plenty of indoor seating, and the place is sparkling clean. Staff and owner are very friendly. It's a little pricey, but about the same as most other restaurants we tried during our NH trip -- inflation hitting everyone, I guess. Worth a stop! read more

I know it says that they are closed but they are simply not a restaurant anymore but instead do Koream cooking classes. We were really sad when the restaurant closed as it was truly a hidden gem in the Seacoast area but when we saw that they turned into a cooking class for Korean food I signed my wife and I up as a Christmas gift. What a wonderful experience. Sue is so eager to engage and chat like you're a part of the family and the Bigolgi that we made was absolutely delicious. We are looking forward to learning so new recipes meanwhile we will make this over and over at home. Here's hoping much success for their new endeavor. read more

Pretty good for lunch, the food was quite tasty, and I love that there's a place to get bibimbap around. Not the best Korean food I've had, but decent. The bibimbap is good, as is the bulgogi. Also really liked the dumplings, those were unexpectedly great! read more

We thoroughly enjoyed our class making Beef Bulgogi. Sue provided us with many tips and very clear directions on how to make the dish. She also gave tips on how to spice it up or down. We will return for other classes. They also do take-out so if you don't want to do a class, you can order ahead of time and pick it up. read more

Went for a late lunch and it was delightful. Simple, casual, clean interior with an emphasis on takeout with dine in option. Order, pay, sit, get served, enjoy. We started with beef dumplings. My wife had a shrimp Bibimbop and I had spicy Pork. We ordered Beef Bulgogi to take away for our daughter. All agreed the food was thumbs up. Sue, owner/ chef was very pleasant as were all the employees. Sue came out a few times to check on us and chat. We've recommended on FB and will be back. It's in the back of the shopping plaza with plenty of parking. Enjoy! Worth a try and repeat. gamsahabnida Thank you Sue. read more

After years of wanting to try this place, we finally did and were pleased we had. It's nothing fancy on the inside but it is clean and tidy and there are a few tables so you can eat inside. We shared dumplings for an app and they were delicious. For entrees we had the spicy pork, (has some heat) and the beef bulgogi. Both were excellent and we have returned a few times since our first visit. They do not serve alcohol. We were very disappointed on our last visit to hear it is closing. read more

Delicious food, best Korean food in the area. This hidden gem is tough to see from the street. It's in the plaza directly across the street from the BMW dealership. So far, the beef bulgogi is the best bet. Ask for a side of spicy red paste to make it even more amazing. Service is excellent and chef Sue likes to stop by the tables to ensure quality and satisfaction. read more

I've walked by this little gem many times before deciding to stop for lunch one day. Decor is pretty basic but the food was fabulous. I had the seafood pancake, which couldn't have been more tasty, and asked for a single sample dumpling just to give them a try. (They gave me six.) They too were out of this world. I'll never eat another grocery store frozen dumpling again! The staff is lovely, kind and generous. I'm going to become a regular! read more

I absolutely love this place. Moving to NH as a asian american, I was so bummed by the lack of authentic asian food in the area. Thankfully, Sue's is as good as the Korean restaurants I used to frequent in NJ! But WHYYY do they close so early?? Every time I go to order something, they are closed read more

This restaurant is a great place to nab your favorite Korean dishes. The menu is not extensive, but I think most of us are happy if we can eat bulgogi or bibimbap or Korean short ribs. There are vegetarian options as well. You could easily make a meal of the appetizers to share with friends. Beverages include Korean sodas and barley iced tea. I had the spicy pork bulgogi and was quite pleased with the taste and the spice level. The space is light and clean, with lovely flowers on the tables and lots of plants in the window. There's a soundtrack of K-pop (lite) on the stereo, and a couch with magazines to peruse while you wait for your takeout order. Very thoughtful all the way around. read more

Food is good. Restaurant is neat. Parking is easy in Plaza parking lot. Self service is convenient.

I had a great bibimbab for lunch today. Rice and veggies were arranged nicely with beef and egg. Gochijang was a little mild but that's okay. read more

Wow, why'd we wait so long to try this place?! Started with Veg Mandoo (dumplings), pan fried perfectly with great texture and flavor. We had bibimbop and japchae both veggie versions. Bibimbop came in hot pot with crispy rice at bottom. I suggest getting egg on top and both sauces. Japchae has a nutty flavor that explodes with every bite. Great chew on the noodles and crunch on the veggies. Kimchi on the side adds a little heat. The place was full the entire time we were there - word is getting around. We will be back very, very soon. read more

I'm having a hard time believing what I just ate because it was SO GOOD!! Food was delivered to the table promptly. I ordered a beef kimbap appetizer and beef bulgolgi main course. The entree arrived probably a minute after the app. A minute after that Sue came out to see if was enjoying the food. She was confused because the appetizer was missing from my table. I had INHALED IT. Portion sizes are generous, the service is friendly and efficient, and just... the food. Oh my god. There were't that many people in for lunch and I really hope that changes. Simply fantastic. Addendum: I work out in Exeter so I come through a lot. Eat here probably once a week and it's held up. Something I look forward to every week. If you're eating in definitely order the Bibimbap! read more

I was super excited for a korean food place to finally open in the area. Location is in a easy to find plaza with plenty of parking. Inside was simplistic and homely. It smelled fantastic as soon as I walked though the door. Very simple menu but they got the basic. Taste was very good, it hit the spot. I'm happy they have a few asian beverages and was playing korean music in the background. The black bean soy milk was great. They even offered a refill on the banchans (side dishes). Staff was very friendly and even the chef herself came out to say hi. She thanked us for coming here and told us of the winter menu items that are coming. I told her I loved the drink options they had and she said she chose it because she herself loved it. I am definitely going back here again. read more

Food: was tasty. Ambience: They do a lot of take-out, so there's a couch where people can wait right among the tables where people dine. There's no sense of design or proportion, but the place is clean and bright and comfortable. The beverage refrigerator makes a lot of noise, and the the pipe-in Asian pop combined with the refrigerator noise was irritating. If they can't eliminate the mechanical noise, they should think about the music choice or eliminate the music entirely. (I think traditional instrumental Korean music would be classier than that pop stuff, and a lack of singing would make conversation easier.) Service: It's the 20th century. They should edit the menu to indicate all the allergens so the customer doesn't have to conduct an interrogation. Vegetarian and vegan items should be marked as such. (I had to get the waiter up to speed on the definition of vegetarian -- he thought fish sauce was okay -- and though I was happy to do that public service and I hope the lesson will stick, they really should have worked this out years ago.) Bottom line...I like the place, I had a good meal...they would do themselves a favor to tune the experience. read more

I have been looking for good Korean food that reminds me of all my favorites I have had over 20 years. Sue's Kitchen is NOT one that ranks well in that category. The store is obviously new and I am definitely pulling for this place to do well, just not dependent on my money. It isn't quite worth a revisit without major changes. Decor - 5/5, this place is obviously new. It has a cute quaint atmosphere. Customer Service - 4/5, it is a family ran small establishment. The gentleman was really kind, just not very informative, in fact...not at all. Food - 2/5, the bulgogi with white rice is okay. The beef bulgogi leaves quite alot to be desired from my countless times in other good quality Korean establishments. The kimchi on the other hand was tasty. Portioning size vs. VALUE - 1/5. Based on the taste, presentation, and my knowledge of bulgogi, this dish is missing entirely too much for the price and portioning size. read more

Love their offerings - esp. the tteokbokki and seafood pancakes! I only wish they were open a bit later in the evenings because it's hard to get back from work and to the restaurant before they close at 6pm! Very friendly. Very tasty. Highly recommend. read more

You can taste that this is effectively home cooking that you happen eat in a restaurant. The menu is small - and that's good since restaurants generally can't do well by dozens of different (if they really are different) dishes. The food is flavorful, but not fancy flavorful - no professional tricks to kick up the experience. I was struck more by the freshness than by any esoteric flavor notes. I had the kimchee pancake and soondubu (tofu in a spicy red broth, eaten with rice). Both delicious and filling. And spicy, but not as spicy as they appeared. I'm thrilled to have a Korean place nearby and I wish this place longevity. I hope NH folks who like Chinese and Japanese and Thai give Korean food a chance and support this joint!! Final note: as Korean Restaurants go, this one is super-vegan-friendly!! read more

Superb mando. Very good bulgogi. Friendly waitstaff amidst immaculate surroundings despite the apparent focus on take-out. We'll be back

Run don't walk or just drive but AS FAST AS YOU CAN so you can taste all the delicious Korean dishes this sweet lady Sue makes! We had two appetizers, the vegetarian roll... yeah you heard that right...I'm not vegetarian but I loved this appetizer and we had the dumplings too....so so flavorful and scrumdiddleyumcious. For my main meal I had the beef bulgogi which was ..well .. it's kind of getting redundant but so so good. My friend had the spicy pork dish which was...well you guessed it...out of this world delicious! So yes I give this small, clean and very cutely decorated restaurant 5 stars.
