Colleen is not only an amazing chef, she literally bends over backward to make your catering experience with her beyond compare!!! She knows how to create the perfect blend of flavors and every meal is unique! She far exceeded our expectations on every dish! And her brownies?? Oh my!!!!!! Chef Colleen prepared a meal for us in our vacation home in Walla Walla. She was very easy to work with. The food was well -prepared, and fresh. The menu was creative. We started with a trio of salads, followed by poached salmon, Greek potatoes, and vegetable gratin. We ended the meal with a blueberry ricotta pie. While everything was good, we all agreed that the squash au gratin, was a highlight. We would recommend Chef Colleen. read more

Established in 2010.

My personal chef business started in Portland, OR in 1999 through 2002. After moving to Walla Walla, I restarted "What's Cooking" in 2010.

Meet the Business Owner: Colleen F.

After teaching and a career in Training & Development, Colleen pursued her passion for cooking by attending Western Culinary Institute in Portland, Or in 1998, where she graduated with honors. Colleen started What's Cooking? in Portland, OR as a service for families too busy too cook. She continued her business in Walla Walla, WA. She continued to offer weekly meals to local clients and services for vacationers : grocery service, dinner parties, box lunches, private cooking classes. Colleen relocated to the Lakes Region of New Hampshire where is offers public cooking classes in several locations. She can also conduct private cooking classes in the client's home or vacation rental.
