Super cool place, especially if looking for something to do with a friend or a group. I went to the Home State Glass Fusion class on 07/18. Everything was all set up with people's names at their designated seating area. All tools were set up & neatly placed. I do wish there was a bit more instruction on some of the tools & the process, but everyone helped one another. The instructor was also very patient. I would highly consider going back to try other media / classes. It's easy to sign up online & prepay. I noticed that there were a handful of people that are regulars. read more

The lady that owns the place was really disrespectful towards her employees. And would not stop talking while I was trying to paint in peace, while she yelled at my kids for laughing and being silly. read more

Oct. 4th attended my first clay class. I loved it! Jean provided each participant a big block of clay and walked us through making a jack-o-lantern pumpkin and or a ghost--complete with all the tools and picture to know the goal. I chose to make two ghosts. My daughter made a pumpkin and a ghost. Can't wait to see how these turn out. They will go in the kiln and we will return to paint them in a week or so, then they will fire them again. The class price included all that, which I think is a bargain! I want to do more clay classes for sure! read more

Excellent and a great way to spend time. Art Escape is one of my favorite places to spend time in the Lakes Region. This is certainly due to the fact that each visit is relaxing and opens the door to an escape to a fun and creative session. The options are many. It's not just a family memory destination. The most repeat customers are likely those looking to chill and have a good time. I unequivocally recommend you give it a shot, every time I go I have fun and leave with a great creation. read more

Went here last night for "Harry Potter, Paint and Sip night" and oh my god did I have so much fun! I bought tickets online well in advance and was not disappointed. This was my 2nd ever visit to Art Escape and it won't be my last. They decorated the entire place top-to-bottom with Harry Potter decor', played the HP soundtrack as music in the background, and laid out a bunch of ceramics that fit the theme to pick from. How could I not have a great time in such a fun environment? The staff all dressed up and they were all extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitley be returning! read more

Great place to hang out and be creative. Reasonable prices and friendly and helpful staff(owners)! Fun place to hang out on a cold or rainy day with kids or crafty friends. read more

I had my daughter's 8th birthday party at Art Escape and it was great. We had 7 very excited kids who all got to paint their own ceramic and take it home. The staff was very accommodating and patient, even when there were requests for multiple different paint colors. The price was a deal for all of this. Highly recommend!! read more

Seriously over priced! I felt very uncomfortable the whole time. We were not required to wear a mask which I found very strange and not professional. I will not be going back read more

Spent some time skiing at Gunstock. Day 3 was raining so we stopped in to get our art fix. The owner Jean was amazingly! We painted and did clay. The kids had a blast;8, 8 and 6. She was so helpful with our projects and helped us find a cool lunch spot. Next time we are back in Laconia, definitely revisiting! read more

Cute shop close to downtown. I brought 3 kids here on a Sunday and there was plenty of room. The kids glazed pottery. They have a huge selection of bisque figurines and chotchke-type things to glaze. I was a little disappointed in the selection of dishware, I was hoping to do a soup bowl/salad plate combo but didn't see anything like that; so I just had the kids pick something. The price of the figures includes your studio time and all materials, which is nice. Overall it was a fun creative time for the kids. read more

Us girls came in as a party of 9 for a celebration for our friends upcoming nuptials! It was easy to follow along and the instructor made the event fun! The only complaint I would have is that when sitting at the booths.. they are very cramped and it makes it hard to work (and I am not a big girl). Aside from that, the staff were very helpful and accommodating:) I'll definitely be back! read more

Had a great time painting wine glasses for a private birthday party! Can't wait to go back and paint some more.

Took my granddaughter here as a special treat during her school vacation. I have driven past this business many times and was curious, but had never stopped in before. The actual space where projects are created is not big by any means, but the offering of activities available is displayed and organized in an efficient manner. There are long tables to work at and they are equipped with tiles to put your paints and glazes on, brushes, sponges and water and other incidentals one might need. There is also a smaller room that appeared to be used by a camp activity that day. There were several offerings of activities---painting on canvas, glazing pottery, working with clay and glass used to make jewelry and other items. It was a hard choice for my 8 year old granddaughter to make, but she decided she wanted to do the glazing so she chose a mug to work with for her mom. Next came the choice of colors from the vast selection which I thought might take forever, but she knew what she wanted so we sat at one of the long tables and she diligently applied the glaze to the mug. One of the ladies working there had explained the dos and don'ts and checked in frequently and was available to answer any questions. Prices seemed quite reasonable and included everything needed---no hidden costs! We went on a Monday and the mug won't be ready for over a week so I imagine the kiln is not on property. That seems like a long time and could be a drawback, but as long as it's ready before Mother's Day it will work this time. read more

I held a wine and paint party for my mom's birthday. It was affordable, fun and something different to do. The ladies arranging it were helpful and flexible, but didn't always remember the details I had confirmed with them. But in the end it all worked out. If I were to do it again I would ask for the room separate from the entrance for more privacy because they did get walk-ins. read more

I love Art Escape! The only issue I have is the amount of people they put into the room at one time. There is great space but it gets pretty tight. read more

There was a group of us doing the wine glass painting. I liked the variety of glasses that were available (more than just wine ones). I was nervous it was going to be difficult but you just tape a print out of your design inside the glass and off you go. The staff is helpful and friendly. We'll be back! read more

Cute location. I love that they have so many different art activities that you can choose from. The selection for plaster painting was limited though. Great place for a local as some projects require to be fired in the kiln. We were from out of town. read more

Selection of products is pretty good. I like that they offer canvas painting on demand as opposed to only the scheduled classes. I like that we could help ourselves to paint colors as opposed to having them doled out. The owner was very helpful as far as offering tips & techniques which I appreciated. I would have given a higher rating except for the disorganization at pickup. We were told our projects would be done by 4pm on Friday. We arrived at that time and not only were the projects not ready, the woman helping us could not find any evidence of our projects at all. She needed to wait for another employee to show up who finally figured out our projects were still in the kiln. She said they needed to cool & she would call me as soon as they were ready. She never called us. We came back the next afternoon and there was no one around to help us, just customers there painting. Finally the owner came up from the basement and our projects were still not totally ready. We had to wait again for her to locate them, clean them up & pack them. Bottom line: nice, comfortable shop, good time but leave yourself plenty of time if you need a project within a certain timeline. read more
