    Such fun options

Had a great experience at Time To Clay. Kids had a fun time. Items are a tad on the pricier side but also really great items that they'll enjoy for a long time.

This place is great! We had lot of fun painting cute clay stuff, staff were quick and helpful! I would definitely go back again. Prices are low, it depends on what item you pick to paint. Totally worth!

Our first time to this place. We arrive first thing when they open. A nice lady introduced how it all work despite we did not make a reservation. Baking the pottery to give it a glaze actually take a week but we will be out of town. The lady was nice enough to give other options since we are leaving town tomorrow. We choose to paint with acrylic. The environment was nice. They were actually quite busy. It was a fun time spent with my daugther.

Most things I looked at were in the $20s price range so it's a little expensive but super fun for kids! Tons of clay items to choose from (animals, mugs, plates, piggy banks, etc) and tons of paint color shades too. The staff were also super friendly and helpful.

This place is fantastic! Super kid friendly! We had the joy of working with the owner to help my son paint his clay piggy bank. She helped with colors, brushes, and even sat with him going through their entire foam stamp collection. The price of the clays are on point with the industry, and the environment is very open, bright, and colorful. Really great experience for both myself and my son who had lots of fun! We will definitely be back in the future.

Had such an AMAZING time here! The staff is more than friendly and helpful. Perfect for the young & old! Great prices as well. My first time going will definitely not be my last. I recommend this for anyone looking for a creative outlet or some well needed stress relief. So relaxing!

There are signs in the…read morewindow and throughout the store stating they do special events such as birthdays, bachelorette parties etc. However, when we arrived you couldn't tell our table from anyone else's. Nothing was set up special for our party. This left me wondering what exactly do they do for parties? The selection of items was lacking. Many items were down to their last one. The paint selection was vast and plentiful. The brushes in the tables only included one brush of each size. If you wanted to do small, detailed work and someone else had the small brush you were out of luck. The bathroom didn't have a light and you had to use a flashlight in order to see where you were going. You could still see how filthy it was though. Cobwebs and dirt filled the corners. I didn't want to touch anything. In fact, the whole place was filthy. No one wore masks except our party. *Covid protocols were not enforced at all.* Restaurants have stricter mask wearing policies then they do! They started cleaning up 30 minutes before closing and the lady working had a loud conversation with another person about how she would "be in trouble if she was even 5 minutes late" so that we would be able to hear her. She and another person kept coming to our table asking if we were done with our paints yet. We felt rushed and disrespected. The passive aggressive attitude wasn't necessary. We drove over two hours to come to this little business that doesn't take credit cards and treats people poorly. Edit: January 12, 2021 -We are definitely getting the run around. Finally was able to get through and was told to call back. Called back and was told "I don't know anything about that call back." Called back and was told must call back. Looks like they are keeping our pieces out of spite over review. Three stars now down to one. Edit: February 7, 2021- Spoke with Kim, the owner. We should be getting our pieces soon. They are going to the post office tomorrow. She had been unaware of Stacey's treatment of us and has apologized profusely. I believe her to be sincere and very genuine.

We grabbed the quick bite and then headed over. Place was kind of hard to find - it's on the backside of the "plaza" it is in and for some reason the GPS doesn't know how to get on the other side (or maybe it was just us) - but since we knew we were in the right area we drove around and found it. They offer a lot of different craft services - pottery painting, mosaic building, candle making, and other kid friendly activities. We opted for the pottery painting. They had a decent selection of pieces to pant - lot of bowl, plate, cup, jewelry holder, planter, etc. types that are functional. The pottery pieces themselves are a little on the pricey side but they do not have a studio fee like other places, so the cost is all inclusive. They have a lot of paint colors to choose from and it's kept pretty organized, so it's easy to find what you are looking for. At the paint station, they had a display of the colors painted three ways - one coat, two coats, and three plus coats and a number for each color. The bottles were numbered accordingly and they had another little color display below the spot for that number. This was VERY helpful! You use the little paint plates (I forget technical name) and can get as much as you need and want as many times as needed. All of the workers were very friendly, ready and prepared to answer any questions, and were happy to walk you through the process, setup, and instructions. They had several table setups all of which were prepared with various brushes and water bowls. There were a lot of other supplies available too. We had a great time. It wasn't extremely busy which was good - I can see this place filling up, but I will say they have a lot of space to accommodate. The turnaround time given was a week, so I will pick up my piece soon and add an after photo. I made a coffee mug and my friend made a display like plate/tray - can't wait to see the results! Would definitely consider going back here for more pottery painting!

They even had pre-made paint palettes as an option. They also have some pottery pieces and things you can paint and take home the same day, but you can't eat from those items as they don't go thru the kiln. There wasn't a ton of variety in the pottery pieces to choose from, and the prices were a bit high compared to what I've seen in the past. We enjoyed our time. There were only two other parties there so it was very quiet and peaceful. Tip: if you use GPS for directions, it'll point you to the building across from theirs. They're right across from the Russian School. Their sign is a bit hidden. They do have a free parking lot.

The woman that assisted us was super thorough and helpful. She gave us tips and recommendations and explained everything perfectly, she even saved my daughter's piece when she "ruined" it (she needs a promotion lol). We tried the clay painting & there was a wide variety of ready made pottery pieces to choose from. I chose a mermaid mug, my daughter chose a cute character mug and my son chose a cute trophy vase/mug? There were tons of paint colors to choose from as well as all the painting accessories (brushes, stencils, sponges, etc). We were reminded that we can't take the pieces home right away since they'll have to go in the kiln but they'll call/text in 7-10 days for pickup. The studio was very clean, organized and spacious. It was also very affordable, they charge $5 per person for the first hour and then $2.50 each additional hour per person and you just buy the ceramic pieces that range from $20 and up. Highly recommend for a fun time with family and friends.
