Worst service I've ever received in my life. My friends and I went up to the bar at 7:40 to get another drink before the BOGO deal ended at 8. It was clear that it was shift change, so we were being very understanding about the wait. We waited until 8:05 until someone even spoke to us. Meanwhile, they were still helping everyone around us. The oncoming bar tender said "I have to get this bar manageable before I can work", very clearly annoyed at how the previous bar tender left the bar. (It looked very clean in there, by the way). The oncoming bartender then looked at her co worker and said "get their order, they might die" pointing at me and my friends. We were being very polite and patient the whole time. Finally the original bartender took our order and we told her we had been there since 7:40 waiting for a drink but that we understood that they were busy and it was shift change. She then said "you definitely weren't here at 7:40" and laughed in our faces. We were very patient and understanding the whole time, and they were extremely rude and dismissive. During this ordeal, one of my friends broke off and went to the other side of the bar. The oncoming bartender looked at him and said "you guys need to calm down. You've had too much to drink". We had 2 drinks each at that point. Very disappointed with the service because it's a pretty cool set up in there. read more

This is a great college bar! Stopped in the other day after cruising around lookin for a place to grab a drink. The drinks were CHEAP and cold and we ordered a cheese pizza which I think was a totino's (delicious!!). All in all, it's a great lil bar. read more

I would not go so far as to say this place is a meat market, since almost every time I have made the drive across town to pay a visit there have been plenty of good-looking women to rubberneck at, usually accompanied by guys automatically assumed to be either boyfriends or friendly neighbors in the adjacent bar stool they met five minutes earlier looking for some extracurricular activity. Never been here on game days, yet I would imagine the place is rocking just as much as the stadium itself. The beer is cheap, yet good luck getting a pool table on the busier nights. For being a smokey bar, there seems to be plenty of ventilation so nobody is suffocating. Not a bad place for the college crowd. UPDATE: Just days after I originally provided this review, Suds management announced that it went smoke-free. Now even more reason to make the occassional commute out here from the West side. read more

Suds is my spot to watch some sports. I'm not exactly someone who watches sports like crazy, but it's fun to sit at the bar filled with other sports fans. It's a comfortable space, and I enjoy the bartenders. Can't beat the drink specials, especially on Thursday. read more
