I'm an extremely picky chooser when it comes to boba. Sucre Cafe is a great boba shop and is one of my favorites throughout the Plano area. I typically get their original milk tea (perfect on the sweetness level), Thai milk tea (I ask them to make it a bit stronger and less milky), and their matcha frappe (a little bit on the sweeter side but, I love it). They have an extremely open yet cozy environment. Also, I have never experienced a single issue with their staff or customer service. FYI: If you don't like your drink, they are extremely kind enough to make you a new drink or fix your drink till it fits your taste! read more

I'm so excited about this new place! Sucre cafe is a really hip coffee/bubble tea place located near Collin community college on spring creek. The interior of the cafe is really chic and spacious and perfect for studying or meeting with a friend. They staff are very friendly and provide quick and fast customer service. I ordered the vanilla ice cream chasiu bun with honey and powder sugar. I am not a fan of the dessert because the bun has a funny bitter aftertaste. I would suggest ordering toppings with stronger flavors to mask this taste. I am a coffee and bubble tea fanatic and I was not creative enough to ask " Why not both?" So cute! nice little place in a weird corner on alma and spring creek next to Collin college's cougar bookstore. Reminds me of a classier java haus. got the watermelon breeze and it was the PERFECT sweetness. Tasted super fresh and full of real fruit (none of that artificial watermelon taste that I hate). Most of those drinks come with multiple types of sinkers and they're happy to sub it out if you dont want something specific (i got basil seeds instead of apple jelly in the watermelon breeze). I would recommend boba and basil seeds in slushes because they get semi frozen and have a nice chew. I also ordered their pulled pork belly bun, which was pretty good although slightly on the pricier side (but after seeing the other buns and the chicken and waffles, I would say the pulled pork bun is actually the best value for food on the menu). Their fried chicken nuggets are tender and fried fresh, and served with sriracha ketchup. When you order, make sure to specify your drink size or else they'll automatically ring up a large for you. Also, none of my party was told our order numbers so we weren't really sure when our drinks/food was ready. the acoustics in there made it hard to hear them shouting out our numbers (that we didn't know), and since there was quite a line it was a bit of a wait for our order. We were checked up on multiple times by the staff, and they really seemed to care. restrooms and facilities were all clean and comfortable. Maybe next time I will try a mason jar order (which you can take home!) and the chicken and waffles. But i will definitely be back. read more

Kind and courteous staff made our boba tea just about instantly. Rice bowls (we had chicken and a beef one) were just the right size for dinner with our tea. Easy to enjoy our meal in the casual atmosphere. Lots of college kids with laptops and headphones around made for a quiet evening. My daughter comes here a fair amount but this was my first time. I've been twice, once for a green tea smoothie and then later I returned once with a friend again. I ordered a mango smoothie with egg pudding in a mason jar, and it was honestly so delicious and flavorful! They were also nice and made extra so I got a little plastic cup filled with the excess that didn't fit in the mason jar. When I first found sucre cafe a few years ago, I was so excited to have a cute smoothie boba place so close to where I was working. I came here often and the staff always assured me that they were catering to my vegan needs, and I would always order the same thing- mango passion fruit smoothie with soy creamer and boba. Then, after many months, someone finally informed me that the boba was being sweetened with honey. I haven't been back since and I'm never coming back. Do not mislead your consumers. If someone takes the time to ask about your ingredients, be truthful. If your employees don't know what's in the products they're dishing out, then train them better. It's not okay. read more

A new boba place is never a bad thing! The interior is roomy and has like a digital fireplace, which adds a nice warm touch. I went with a couple of friends and I decided to get the mason jar because you get to keep it when you're done. However, when I ordered, the person didn't ask which size I wanted so I just figured I'll get whatever she pushes. She didn't ask for my other friend either and she ended up with a large and I ended up with a small. I got the Thai Tea and it was pretty good! Not too sweet, which is just the way I like it. It's a new store so it didn't bother us. My friends each got a bao and I got the popcorn chicken. These are all snack size. The popcorn chicken was good and crunchy. I wish it came with a bit more, but it's probably because they were so good! There was some confusion getting our orders. Sometimes they would bring out the food and drinks for customers and sometimes they just called out a number but it was hard to hear them. We would look at the counter but didn't see the order because the utensils covered that area. It was still a good experience and I'm sure with time, the service will be exceptional. read more

This is my go-to study place. Their music volume is just perfect and the noise level doesn't ever get out of control. I always like to sit at the tables where the outlets are sitting right above the back panel of the chair. The drink I get consistently is the black milk tea. The fragrance and aroma of the tea is spot on. I always get less ice on my drinks and it was still the perfect sweetness for me. It's never busy when I come here which I like. No need to wait on someone to give up their table. The people here are nice, no attitude so far. I tried the Pachango, which would have been good if it wasn't super icy. I think it was more peach than mango. The cashier guy mentioned if I didn't like my drink, I can get another one, but I'm not a big complainer...most of the time. Hopefully next time, the Pachango will be better. The Rose Gold Smoothie was good. It melted very quick though. I would like it if there was less dairy (milk?) in it. The charsiu, braised pulled pork, and bulgogi chicken bun was alright. The charsiu meat was overcooked and I think they forgot to put the fried shallots on it. The pulled pork and bulgogi chicken were average. I forgot which bun I chose to be fried. But after trying the fried bun, I like it more than steamed. The steamed bun falls apart very easily, but the fried wasn't messy at all, just gave a good crunch to the whole bun. However, I don't think the size of the bun do the price justice. They're very small. Will I come back? Yeah, there's still a lot of stuff on the menu that I want to try. read more

I'm a HUGE boba fanatic so imagine how excited I was that there was a boba shop opening so close to my house!! I stopped by about a week after their opening, so unfortunately I missed out on all of the fun deals they had going on :( as soon as you walk in, you're greeted with a very homey feeling. I love love love the decor of the place! It's definitely somewhere I'd bring a friend or where I'd just come to study. The staff there are super friendly!! I really loved how warmly greeted we were and how patient the cashier was in explaining the house drinks to us. I tried a lychee drink and it was delicious!! The boba was a little on the softer side, more so than how I usually like it, but the drink itself made up for the boba. I'd love to come back and try their other drinks, especially their milk tea! I also thought it was sweet how one of the staff members followed up with me after I got my drink, asking if it was up to my satisfaction. That's some serious customer service! read more

This place was really good. I got the Thai milk tea and the drink itself was delicious. The boba was almost perfect- a tiny bit hard in the center but I still enjoyed it. The regular size was the perfect size for me and cost 4.50 which is pretty affordable honestly. I came here so I could save 1.50 and it ended up being one of my favorite milk teas I've had in the area. One note: the big plastic straws don't fit in the regular size cup lip. I've tried the Thai and jasmine milk tea. I thought they were pretty good. There was more sweet than a tea flavor. For me, I prefer to taste more tea than the milk drink itself so this wasn't perfect but pretty good. 4/5 I don't like tapioca balls but they were okay. -/5 Caramel Macchiato was pretty good. The menu just says Macchiato but there are a lot of flavors you can get. Some I remember are caramel, mocha, vanilla, etc. I got a double shot and I felt the coffee was pretty effective. 5/5 Atmosphere: there is usually a good amount of people there during lunch and before dinner but you can always get a table. Good flow and vibe going on. 5/5 Customer service. Everyone is nice. There is one worker (male Asian guy, you probably know who you are if you're reading this), that walks and makes sure everything is good with you. 5/5 Price. I think milk teas were about $4 each, the fruit drinks were $5 each, mason jar drinks $6 each, and the iced Macchiato $4. Looking at the trend in boba drinks going up, I'd say that would be typical now. I would definitely come back if I was in the area. I'm a fan of tiramisu so I would like to try it out. I was blown away by the freshness of the fruit smoothies me and my friends had at this new chic cafe tonight ! We met together to catch up and have our bible study and ended up closing the place down! The drinks are made fresh with fresh ingredients and my friends had their pulled pork buns for a snack and they wanted more ! I had the mangonada which came with a Lucus-wrapped candied fat straw which was perfect for me bc it was not too sweet or spicy but just right! I can't wait to come Back !
