I stopped in after searching for Hop Water and saw on the Hop Water website the Good Life Market sold it. I arrived about a half hour before close so I was one of few customers and ended up buying a ton and wanting more. First, I found a 4 pack of beer that had JUST been released in Burlington VT and then Portland ME (collaboration beer) and immediately grabbed it. Absolute score! I was super impressed with the beer selection, both refrigeratorated and on the shelf, plus N/A options, hop waters, mixers, you name it. Before I even made it to the beer section I was drawn to the prepared food because I was hungry and knew I would have to prepare something when I got home. I got smoked ribs (probably a half rack) for $11.99, Cole slaw and a broccoli bacon salad. They had multiple refrigerators and freezers with everything you can imagine, frozen Slab pizza, health drinks, locals meats, local ice cream, etc. I noticed a huge wall of local coffee so I will be going back to hopefully find espresso beans, which are challenging to come by. I didn't notice inside seats but that would be a good addition. For the ribs, I wrapped them in foil and baked at 350 for 20-30 minutes. I was so happy to find real food, prepped for easy reheating. I will definitely be back with my husband to order sandwiches and pick up more goodies.

Employees here are always friendly. Their food is always well-made and is of excellent quality. Prices are a bit on the high end hence the 4 stars. Pictured here is their Hometown Chef Salad and The Good Life Club. My stepson and I ended up sharing as the portions are huge. We even got 3 servings out of the salad. These two items are highly recommended. This market also has some fresh produce, several cheese options, interesting snacks and pantry items. Stop by and support local whenever you can!

It's by far the nicest restaurant in the area, and if you live in this region it's the clear and obvious first choice for elevated dining. Just know that you'll be paying for it. At 5 pm on a Saturday Yolked was bustling, with a full bar and many tables already taken. We were able to snag bar seats after a 20 minute wait. If the 90 minute seating rule was in effect, no one told us at the bar and we did not notice. Service was impeccable from the friendly bartenders. We decided to split the Dill Cream Roasted Beets ($21) and Citrus Miso Carrot Ribbons ($20) for appetizers. The beets were the clear winner, served warm, and I only wish I ordered the Focaccia ($11) to dip in the irresistible sour cream and dill sauce. The Duck Ragu ($46) entree was huge and we enjoyed, though the pappardelle noodles were over a foot long. I considered Lady and the Tramping it but was overruled. The special Apple Crisp dessert with ice cream was a perfect early fall dessert. So, why 4 stars? The prices here are extreme. Appetizers are in the $20's, entrees in the $40's and the cheapest glass of wine on the menu is $14. I always pose this question: Can I eat at Scales for cheaper? When the answer is "yes," then I'd rather just go to Scales. And Yolked is easily more expensive than Scales, even if you only get a burger. Also, it's extremely, exceptionally loud. That's not a big problem for me, but something to keep in mind. Overall, Yolked is by far the best restaurant in the area. It's a stylish spot with very good food. Just make sure your credit card gives extra points for dining.
