My friend had a double cheeseburger with raw onions and mayo. Both were good. Bread - super soft. The fries were a little crispy (just the way I like them). Soda in bottles and on tap. The dining room is bigger than it looked on the outside. Order at the counter, and then pick it up when they call your number. Decent prices - especially in today's economic environment. I think I would have been underwhelmed with a single patty, for whatever that's worth. Two was good and worth the extra money. I understand that sitting the burgers on napkins vs a cardboard "basket" like the fries, I a lot cheaper. It's also very messy. Our burgers stuck to the napkin every time we sat them down.

I have been a loyal Popeyes customer for over 40 years, which makes writing this review especially…read moredisappointing. We specifically ordered non-spicy chicken, yet we received a mixed order. My youngest took one bite and was shocked because his piece was spicy. My husband, who regularly eats very spicy foods like General Tso's chicken, actually had to peel the skin off his chicken because it was so hot. That's simply unacceptable when a customer orders non-spicy. The "Cajun Rice" was another huge letdown. I don't know what happened to the recipe, but this is not Cajun Rice as longtime Popeyes customers remember it. It lacked the flavor that made it a favorite for decades. The chicken itself was just as disappointing. The skin wasn't crispy--it was hard. Several pieces looked like they had been fried twice. The coating was dry, overly dark, and unpleasant to eat. The one bright spot was a young woman working there who was incredibly polite, friendly, and courteous. She provided excellent customer service, and I don't blame the employees. They appear to be doing the best they can with what they're given. The responsibility falls on management. They need to step up and bring this restaurant back to the standards the Popeyes name is supposed to represent. As someone who has enjoyed Popeyes for over four decades, this location should be embarrassed by the quality of food they are serving. We drove nearly two hours for medical appointments and thought stopping here would be a nice change. Instead, it was one of the most disappointing fast-food meals we've had in a long time. Sadly, after this experience, I don't expect we'll be making the trip back.

During this time several patrons came, ordered, waited, and either ate in or left, while multiple mobile orders were picked up. I heard someone say my name so I went to the counter. This place was hopping, so I can understand how some would be frustrated trying to place a phone order when they are also handling a line of customers to the door and an influx of online orders. For a place that was busy, their upkeep in appearance is good. I love the fact they freshly slice the meat and cheese when you place the order. You are able to witness them make your sandwich from start to finish. It looked hectic behind the counter, but given they had only been open a month or less, I am sure they are still working out the kinks as to how to manage the flow of work and staff. I had their club sub which is turkey, ham, provolone (I left this off), applewood smoke bacon, mayo and I asked for it "Mike's Way" which includes onions, lettuce, tomatoes, spices and their juice (oil and red wine vinegar). A regular sandwich was more than enough for me as they don't skimp on the meats. Unlike some food chains they put more meat the bread which is the way I like it. All the veggies tasted fresh and not like they been sitting there for a while. I love their sandwich, their approach to making it and the quality of ingredients they use. I actually prefer them over Subway. Subway is more bread less meat, Jersey Mikes is more meat less bread. I will definitely come back here again anytime I pass thru. It's worth the wait.

The times I have gone thru the drive thru have been an average experience. I personally have no encountered anyone in drive thru as being rude, but they just move you along like you are just another customer and not one that is appreciate for choosing their location for your breakfast, lunch or dinner needs. The times I have walked inside to order food to go, you can tell its a very young crew and most of them look like they are in high school. They all seem to work hard, but it also seems like they are always ordering food for themselves and getting served before customers who have ordered and are waiting. Personally, if you are an employee and have ordered food, you should wait in an area that is not viewable by the public, so it doesn't appear you are getting your food before any of the customers. This location is convenient due to being open 24 hours, but I think they need to work on their appearance and how they interact with each other and the customers to avoid having a customer interpret your actions as being given special treatment because you are an employee.
