There is plenty of parking as well which is a must when you're buying heavy, liquid filled cans and bottles. First off, they carry a lot of local beer and spirits which is critical because it's the best. Second, they have one of those cool walk in refrigerators, if you're into the domestic stuff. Third, you can special order a lot of stuff directly through their distributor. I did this over the summer with Oxbow Surf Melon hose because I couldn't find the beer anywhere and wasn't willing to go to Oxbow itself. They put the order in and called a week or so later when they had it in the shop for me. I went in, paid and was out the door. SO good to know you can do that! To finish off, the biggest lesson I've learned is NOT to drive into Portland to buy new flavors of seltzer at Apres because Hops and Vine will have it! I always go out of my way to go to Portland to get the newest Apres and then end up at Hopes and Vine soon after and kick myself when I see the special flavor I drove to Portland for.

A lovely lady behind the counter caught my eye and asked me what I needed. I got a pumpkin spice latte, cause it's cold, rainy, and fall! I grabbed a mozzarella roasted red pepper sandwich that hit the spot. I was hungry so I ate as I walked around and looked at all the goodies. They seem to be hosting the coffee Swift River Roasters. They had a great selection of 1 lb bags and more. As you walk through you realize there's ice cream, treats, and a whole market in the back. We found a small room that boasted wine tasting - whoa - cool! We took a quick seat and finished our sandwiches as we looked around. We walked the rest of the market and if you are looking for upscale - this is your place. They even had Dom Perignon on the shelf. I scored some Bacardi on sale (to make vanilla of course) and some chocolates. The lady at the counter was super sweet, check out was quick and easy. They accept cards, cash and idk. I think the one thing that completely stood out to me here was the simple fact that the staff was so passionate and energetic to help me in whatever needs that I had and even when the wife was looking for non-alcoholic selections, they were even excited to show her what they had in this department (usually we get the complete stink eye when we ask for non-alcoholic options from the snooty beer connoisseur). They have hundreds of selections of craft brews from all over the place and it was hard to even select a few and I was told that their keg selections are top notch for a great price. So, if you are looking for a place to go to get that rare brew or a select wine from everyone from the box cheapo wine to a very high end wine they have it here.

They have a weird selection of store brands from other stores, small produce selection, pre-cut deli, and lots of baked goods, chips, vacation snacks and more. They have a good beer selection and the UFO next door has even more beer. They also have an entire aisle dedicated to Naples clothing where we got t-shirts for the kids and sweatshirts. The clothing is cheaper than buying it at one of the gift shops down on the causeway. The negatives are that the parking lot gets very crowded on Saturdays in the summer and it can be tough to park a big truck in there. The check out lines can also get long especially on the far side of the store where they sell the cigarettes. Avoid that line if you can!

The staff seemed nice - they were busy the day we went, because the Hannaford in Gray lost power in the refrigerator/coolers for the meat, (as a customer shared, as to why they ended up in Shop 'n Save.) Parking lot is not huge, which makes sense for the size of the store. It's very accessible to all. Easy check out - don't forget to bring your bags. Great Location, Great Website and Cute Store and EXCELLENT parking options. It's not a large store, which is great in so many ways, but it also can limit the selection available. The good news not only did we find a hard to find beer, Oskar Blues - Ten Fidy, we also found some other gems while we were waiting for the online order to be filled. Imperial Maple Sunday made by Lone Pine and Orange Duct Tape by Stoneface. The checkout process was easy. There was a bit of brief confusion when we arrived. I had placed my order after 8pm and the gentleman running the store seemed confused as he hadn't seen it by the time we came in the next day at 1:30 (they open at 11am). It was fine, because they hadn't sold my pre-ordered beer. It did make me a bit nervous. The experience was pleasant. If there is something specific you are looking for, I would recommend going online first to order, or call ahead. It's a smallish store, so you may have to ask for a special order. The store was very clean and organized and good dates on the beers we were looking at. Also some single cans available to buy - which I love so I'm not stuck with 3 cans of beer I didn't like.
