Refusing legal tender is not only bad customer service -- it's also illegal in the state of Pennsylvania, which has a law requiring businesses to accept cash. This is not just inconvenient -- it's exclusionary. Not everyone uses cards or mobile payments, and U.S. currency is, by law, legal tender for all debts, public and private. I hope Smashburger corporate addresses this issue and brings this location into compliance. I encourage others who experience this to report it.
