Fully aware this is a chain and it's hard to compete with local pizza joints, you can still find some decent pies at chains. I ordered the "large" (though that's not really what they call it) specialty topped pizza and a side salad. The pizza was delivered pretty quickly and still somewhat warm. On this pizza, I ordered your basic red sauce, mozzarella cheese, red peppers, and mushrooms. Those were all the ingredients on the pizza, yet they were few and far between. Give credit to the freshness though, but don't give credit to the amount of cheese either. Very skimpy with all the toppings. For the price you pay I would expect more than what was delivered. The pizza is super thin. I like all thicknesses of pizza, so I did not have a problem with the super thin crust. Overall, the pizza was pretty good but not very filling and very low on toppings. Ughhhh I hate to complain when I know it's busy at an establishment, but this was over the top ridiculous. I went to MOD on Airport Rd for dinner & the line was understandably really long. The issue is that it was clear that there was no manager on site to guide this team of young kids for a busy night. They all had attitudes and did not care about their jobs or work ethic. Once I arrived to modify my pizza the maker was very snippy and surprised when after 20 minutes of waiting in line that I want my pizza a certain way. I asked for extra sauce and she threw it in the middle and and threw cheese on it with a pool of sauce in the middle. ‍‍ idk about you, but don't work if you can't handle the pressure of food service. Whether you try one of their specialities or choose to MOD your own, all the ingredients used are super fresh. They aren't going to yell at me or ban me (they're actually very nice and patient!), but there's usually a long line and no time to be indecisive. Read the menu on the wall, try to gauge the ingredients before you get to the front, and order confidently. My personal rule is: "When in doubt, add it anyway." When confronted with persons, places or things that are gimmicky or gimmick-ish my one eye begins to twitch and my internal BS meter starts screaming. MOD oooooozes gimmick. Take the same tired concept that Subway perfected years ago that was borrowed by Moe's, Chipotle and multiple other chains and apply it to pizza. Poof! You've got MOD. First impression as soon as we walk in the door is of the overflowing garbage can immediately to the right. Plates everywhere, food on the floor and garbage coming out of both openings. Nice. In terms of food we kept it simple: - One Maddy (ordered per the menu with just sauce and cheese) that was decent with the exception that the crust on one side was burnt black and hard. Clearly the pizza was not cooked evenly/turned while in the oven. - One Mad Dog (ordered per the menu with sauce, cheese and three meats) which was probably the best of the three pizzas ordered. Unlike the Maddy both sides were evenly cooked and all menu ingredients were on the pizza. Overall good flavor. - One Dillion James (ordered per the menu except for no tomatoes) that really sucked. The pizza is suppose to come with garlic and it had no visible garlic on it nor any garlic flavor. It's also supposed to have fresh chopped basil of which it had maybe three pieces. #Weak Of course for this level of novelty you're paying a premium at nearly eight dollars for their regular size pizza. They do have a smaller size but damn is it small and there is a bigger size but I have no idea how big that one is. As a few other Yelpers also mentioned the music here is total crap. It's way too loud and the mix sounds like it was done by a fourteen year old who is context clueless. It needs help, badly. Maybe we showed up at a bad time or on an off day but I don't get the five star reviews. For us it was a dirty-ish store with one pizza that was half burnt black with another pizza that was missing ingredients. That's three stars on a good day and probably should warrant something less. At some point we might come back but honestly why? I'm not big on the gimmick of loading fifty-six toppings on a pizza and at the core that pizza here is not that good plus based on our visit they're not even done that way they should be. Actually a really nice surprise here next to the airport. I love great pizza and for what is basically fast pizza, it's quite a surprisingly good pizza. 11" inch pizza with as many toppings as you want and no extra cost. They crisp it up just how you like it and it is QUICK. Friendly staff for the most part! Stand back when they apply the pesto spread, it flies everywhere! Been there before when it just opened and it was good, a nice pizza play on the Subway method of making your product. Haven't been back since then and walked into a restaurant that doesn't appear to have been cleaned since my last trip years ago. General filth, food particles everywhere, every napkin dispenser empty, every condiment dispenser just about every, drink fixing station also almost void of items you need. This place is in dire need of a manager or someone that will make the workers work and make it presentable to the customer. Food was ok, preparation area was just as cruddy looking, every topping was spilled into every other topping container, pizza attendant wasn't really attending to the pizzas as she kept burning them - and sending them out burnt without making it right! Price was a little high IMO for what you were getting as you pay over $6 for a mini salad worth $3 and the mini pizza was like something you slap together on a cheap tortilla. With so many options in the area we'll never be back to this location. When you first get in you wait in a line to place your order. The counter has trays in it similar to Subway that have all the ingredients in them that you can customize your pie. This is my 100th review! What a special day! I thought this was pretty good. I got the dillon james twice which consisted of red sauce, garlic, fresh chopped basil, asiago and tomatoes. Toppings are free! I got the pepperoni and meatballs and the 2nd time i got pepperoni and bacon. My rating of 5 is based on the consistent pizza and service. Although it was crowded for the free family and friends event it felt as though things moved quickly without compromising the quality of service. The pizza is on a thin crust. Well done, not greasy, and cooked perfectly. I was anxious to try it again. My only complaint is it both times it seemed they could have done a better job learning the menu. When i order a classic pizza i don't expect to have to tell them what to put on the pizza ... Hell it's my first time seeing your menu i glanced at it once and decided that's what i wanted. I didn't memorize it but they should have. Well that's a bit nitpicky i hope they do well. Just a warning the parking is insane. Mid week diner so it wasn't too crowded and the staff was super friendly! Coming from San Diego, CA I am familiar with a similar restaurant, known as Project Pie. It is one of my favorites, and I had to compare MOD with them. I like the Classic pizza offerings at MOD there are a lot more choices and all have great ingredients. I ordered the Mad Dog, but have to remember that the Pepperoni is a little to spicy for me. The salads are a little confusing, only because I am used to getting a small side salad for a lesser price. Understanding the place is new and the staff are still learning, but I suggest that they do a better job at explaining the concept. Especially with the salad options, which, similar to the pizza you pay for the mini, mod, or mega size and you can have ANY items on the salad just like the pizza. One SERIOUS suggestion I have is to add caramelized onions to the toppings list, it is AMAZING on pizza! This place is great. You walk in and promptly get greeted in a "Moe's southwest fashion ". You have a couple sizes of pizza dough to pick from as well as and an almost endless amount/combination of fresh toppings! You tell them what toppings you want and then put them on and bake it. ( all toppings are no extra cost no matter how much you choose!!). I also got a Cesar Salad which was made to order and tasted great. The atmosphere is fresh and modern and for the most part, they keep everything tidy. Oh MY Gosh! Just ate at this place for the first time today and it's our all time new favorite! All five of us give it a 10 out of 10 on every level. Not only do they have the best ever gluten-free around ( not a tasteless cardboard mush like most pizza places) they also have dairy free cheese... unheard of these days! Very few places cater to an allergy present family like ours. Not only is the pizza out of this world the price is affordable also ...Even more of a value than some of the worst gluten free pizza's. My wife and I were in town for a concert in Bethlehem and decided to come to our favorite pizza shop. Now there is 2 different stores where we live and 1 is great and the other or just ok. Anywhere from quality of the food or attitude of the staff. I tell you what we had the best service at this mod pizza and it was extremely packed. Both our pizzas were put together within 1 minute which was phenomenal. Pizza came out of the oven 5-10 minutes later. Wasn't burnt or crispy but a perfectly made pizza.
