I had an experience this week where a Door Dash delivery driver picked up my pizza from MOD and decided to keep it (can you blame him). A quick counter service pizza restaurant chain. You can create your own pizza, but know that their are 2 sizes (individual and regular, that their signage does not state). Everything is measured and counted out exactly for each pizza. They had a good sauce, but not enough of it. Everything is done quite quickly. Since turn over is quick, they should have someone in the dining area to clean up quickly. They do have a few outdoor tables. Service was so bad I decided to write a review for my first visit to this fast food pizza place. Upon being greeted after walking in I can see that there are 3-5 employees that all appear under 18 years old. Next I order a simple cheese pizza, and am rung up for a pizza with everything ($3 more than a cheese) When mention this, the cashier said he couldn't give me a refund, so then I ask the manager the same thing which she tells me she can't refund me the difference. They then give me a milkshake to compensate for the difference. 20 minutes go by while I am waiting on my to go pizza. I bring my attention back to the counter because another customer is complaining about his pizza coming out black and burnt. That being said, this was the only other Customer in the restaurant who walked in and ordered 10 mins after me. I then decide to ask about my pizza, when I was told that they hadn't even started it, and had forgotten about my order entirely. Needless to say I will not be back, and if I were the franchise owner, I would sincerely take a look at my operation. Don't be surprised when you are bleeding revenue.. Yesterday was the first time I came here and I was so happy with this place! First off, and most importantly this place is basically spotless. It's kept extremely clean. Also, I love how the pizza is made fresh when you order it. They have many toppings to choose from and there is no extra charge which is great. The employees are all very friendly too. They make the pizza right Infront of you and before you do that, you can choose a variety of pizzas, toppings, crusts (reg or GF), and salads! They are SUPERFAST! Just like their motto! It was crazy! They are rude though. Usually when someone is fast, they want you out of their face but these people yell hello as soon as you walk in and talk to you thru the whole process. It's awesome. I loved the pizza (I had 2 MOD size pizzas, one with the red sauce - jalapenos, pineapple, roasted red peppers, and roasted brussel sprouts, another with pesto sauce - basil, roasted red peppers, garlic and artichokes). This place runs and operates similar to the newer "hipper" restaurants that have been eating up (no pun intended) the market vacated by the ailing fast food giants. First impression, it's got a nice open air, neo-industrial atmosphere. It's clean. Employees are nice, and helpful in explaining the menu choices. Pros: It's a build your own pizza place. Menu options are reasonably priced. Service is quick, though may vary during busier hours (cannot confirm this, only being here once). I was greeted walking into the door. Staff is pleasant. Food is well worth the price. Cons: Though the restaurant wasn't full, the parking lot was. I ordered a pesto based sauce, while good, had a bit too much salt. With the vaulted open ceilings, it can get somewhat loud inside. It isn't a huge issue, but while ordering, I couldn't hear the employees very well. They have pizza and salads, not much variety outside that, though what you can put on your pizza or salad is quite varied. Conclusion: I would come back, certainly. I've already been here two times and absolutely love it! It's awesome that I get to customize my pizza with the toppings of my choice. On my first visit, I got the MOD size pizza, but it was way too much for me so on my second I visit, I got the mini and it was perfect! I also got the cinnamon strips with the cinnamon glaze and those were so yummy! There were plenty to split between my sister and I. Customer service is great too! This is one of those build-your-own pizza places. It was very tasty and had a good amount of selections to put on your pizza, including spicy-sausage and chorizo. My daughter insisted that we go to Mod Pizza tonight, so we went. The moment I walked in it looked like just another busy pizza joint ... that is until I got up near the front and began to see what was actually being sold there. I saw the fresh pizza dough, including cauliflower, and toppings as far as the eye could see! Everyone was courteous and professional and, although crowded, the line moved along. I especially noticed the tall man who greeted us and began our order. While working on the orders before us he made certain to greet us and let us know that he would be right with us. After tasting the delightfully fresh pizza, I had to ask the man where this company originated and if there were any others around (I had never heard of it before).
