Love that this place is open 24/7. I picked up a sandwich early in the morning around 6am on a monday. There was 1 employee there and he was hustling to get some orders done. He was fast, efficient and when he got to my order it was perfect. I ordered the Cheesy Garlic Steak Sandwich on the Italian herbs and cheese bread. I also substituted the cheesy sauce for American cheese and added spinach and banana peppers. The portion was good and they restaurant was clean. They also accepted a coupon that I brought in. To address parking: they share a small plaza with 4 other businesses (1 is closed). I saw 4 spots reserved for Subway (probably 1/4 of the spaces in the area). Due to the polarity of the tea shop in the area, I think it is fair to have some reserved spots for Subway and the other stores if they choose to ask they all share the parking lot. This subway has always been our to go for Subway sandwiches but now we have to go after 11 PM to get a sandwich because of all the Molly tea individuals who take up all the spots in this parking lot is crazy and you can't get a place to park. We think the staff is outstanding. They always do a great job very friendly and very helpful but it's just a big problem trying to find a place to park during the day here because all the DoorDash drivers are blocking the spots that are for subway parking and all the Molly tea drinkers are blocking spots as well. We tried Molly Tea and we think it tastes nasty. read more

When you're trying to pick up your order at Molly Tea, there's nowhere to park because this subway hogs all the spots for their nonexistent customers. OK, anybody who's still awake after the political conventions knows that Subway has been offering a $5 footlong for the past two months since late June, 2020. You can't just buy one sandwich for $5. You have to buy 2 sandwiches for $10. Not all stores offer the deal. No advertising on the walls or storefronts of the offer. You cannot get the deal in person. You have to order and pay online in advance, to find out if your store offers the deal. There is no list of stores to tell you which store has the deal. Even picking a location can be tricky, as the store nearest to me is on El Camino Real in Sunnyvale. There are three Subways along a three mile stretch on El Camino Real in Sunnyvale. Pick the wrong one, and it's a long walk from my house, as I found out the hard way! You have to know the exact address. How many cities have three Subways on the same street? Went to the website, picked a location, and started to fill out an order for 2 sweet teriyaki chicken sandwiches. Picking your sandwich is tedious, as you have to go through some 15 choices: sandwich meat type, bread, cheese, toasted, lettuce, tomatoes, olives, cucumbers, pickles, green peppers, purple onions, banana peppers, pickles, jalapenos and sauce. There is a default sandwich, but it includes sweet onion sauce and excludes banana peppers and pickles. I once went with the default, and my sandwich was drowned with sauce by an overzealous employee. Long and convoluted ordering system on the internet, : name, e-mail, cell phone number, credit card holder, billing address, credit card number, expiration date, and CVV required. Almost as tedious as filling out a state unemployment benefits application form. Why all these obstacles? The store owners claim to lose money on the $5 footlong, so they aren't anxious to sell to you. Just like Costco's $5 48 ounce cooked rotisserie chicken, which loses money. No $5 foot long advertising on the windows. But any deal that the store loses money is too good deal for a cheapskate like me to pass up . This store is newer than the other two Subways on El Camino Real, with the first yelp review in 2009. Very clean, with only five tables, one bathroom, and one set of electrical outlets for charging your phone/laptop near the bathroom. During the pandemic, no dine in, and restroom locked for customers. Before the pandemic, hard to find a parking spot on the weekend, with the busy next door hair salon. The web site says the 2 for $10 deal ends soon. Normal price for a foot long sweet onion teriyaki sandwich is $9.59 plus 9% tax in Sunnyvale, compared to $9.25 plus 4% tax in Honolulu, and $8.59 in mid town Manhattan New York City. When was last time you saw fast food more expensive in CA than Hawaii? Yes, Marianne W of NYC, Subway is 13% more expensive here than where you live. Val Y of Honolulu complained that they don't get the 2 for $10 deal in Hawaii. When you order two onion chicken teriyaki sandwiches in Hawaii, you get $4.50 off the second sandwich, a BOGO half off. Sept 1 update: the 2 for $10 offer expired August 31, 2020, but I got my money's worth. Since June 26, I have more than ate for Val Y of Honolulu, or Vic E of Anchorage, with 7 orders of 2 for $10 deals, including 5 orders of 2 for $10 deals in August alone! New deal for September: buy two footlongs, get one free. Now how many people order three footlongs!? read more

This is by far the best Subway location I've been to! The staff is incredibly attentive and always goes the extra mile for customers. This is a pretty solid location for a Subway. They actually take the coupons that come in the mail, and other Subway in the area don't. The other ones sometimes even lie and say they do until you get to the register, and then oops you have to pay full price. It's usually clean and the staff are polite. It's also nice that they stay open later than most of the things in the area. Just 4 star because the ingredients are a little meh sometimes (mostly things like vegetables that aren't ripe yet or putting jalapeño stems in the sandwiches). Go local instead if to can, but if you want a late night spot besides In N Out, this location is pretty good for a chain. read more

Like other people have said, the server is rude. I asked for Indian tikka sauce but she said she can't serve it on "make your own" veggie sub. I couldn't understand what could hurt if she poured some. Not like I'm asking to cut random wires on a live bomb and shit could explod LOL. It's just sauce on a sub. When I asked why she literally said "oh my God!!" and gave me a look. I've only been here once, but I don't think I would come back. I placed an online order and picked up my sandwich, bringing it to the nearby Happy Lemon to eat it. They didn't include cheese, and they didn't take out some of the veggies I didn't want. They also didn't toast my sandwich. They servers were both very pleasant, efficient, and they were generous with the vegetables in my sandwich which is what won them my repeat business, and will continue to do so. Worst ever place to get your food. The server (could be the owner) was very rude. I made online order. I was at the store before they started making the sandwich. I asked for an extra dressing as I forgot to add that to my online order. The server got very rude and angry asking not to disturb and that he cannot follow the steps both from online order and the customer. When I urged him to listen, he stopped preparing my order, asked me to step aside saying that he is too busy and started taking order from the customer behind me. He asked me to cancel the order as he was not going to prepare my food. I felt he had a very racist approach. The other servers understood he was being unreasonable and requested him to go in the pantry. I was definitely angry, but preferred to get my food from someplace else rather than spoiling my mood any further. Would never recommend this place. Subway is my easy go-to spot for lunch. This locale had great service and my sandwich was well toasted (some barely scare it with fire). The bread was some of the best looking I've come across from a Subway, fresh and well done. It's one of the smaller Subway's I've seen, with only a two tables, but that wasn't a problem during my visit. My only complaint about Subway's is they skimp on the meat, thus I usually order double to triple meat and am charged anywhere from 1.50 to 5 dollars more, and I never know how much until the bill. Some charge it as double meat twice, some charge it as something different. Some don't charge me, or include it in the five dollar foot long option. This location seemed to be the latter, or if not what I paid was reasonable for what I got. I'd drop by here again, if not just because their bread looked so delicious! read more

As I was nearby, I stopped in for a large soda and a cookie. The two ladies working were working extremely efficiently and pretty darn amazing during a 12:30pm lunch rush. As I skimmed through the produce and seating area, yes this place is small, but the food quality looked excellent, area was very clean and the service was awesome. (It's nearly 90 degrees outside and inside here with AC it felt so darn chilled - I didn't want to leave)! Tonight, I called this Subway at 9:08 to ask what time they closed. I was told they closed at 9:30 . I arrived within 10 minutes of my call only to find an employee walking away from the door. When my son reached for the door, we realized it was locked and the restaurant closed early. The employee looked at us, started laughing at us and then disappeared behind the employee door. We knocked on the door and asked the employee what happened as the 'Open' sign above the door was still on and asked about the sign on the door showing the store hours. The employee just shrugged and said closed while smiling away at us. Subway- do you train your employees to tell customers to come and then close early to lose profit? And then train them to laugh at your customers? There was someone else in the restaurant behind the counter too. I sure hope it wasn't her manager applauding and supporting this behavior. read more

On a busy time, which is around noon time for lunch and 6:30 for dinner, the tables can get really messy-- looks like the employees don't have much time to clean up and wipe them down.
