All of the ingredients looked super fresh and our sandwiches tasted great. Team member that helped us made sure the ingredients she put on our sandwiches were all fresh and was throwing out the tiny hard pieces from the banana pepper so we didn't bite into it! Seemed like a newly renovated location because it was super clean and new looking. read more

Been here twice in the past week. The first time there were two guys working and they were not in the best mood. Today, there were two ladies working and they were super friendly. Ordered the same salads both times and they were good. Guess it really depends on what day of the week you go there as to how you're greeted. read more

Went in to get sandwiches for our kids after soccer practice. Jayson seemed extremely bothered to be earning his check this evening. Came out to get our order and was annoyed that our 11 yo did not promptly know what bread she wanted. Also threw lids and meats everywhere. I have not ever eaten at this location in Salado. I eat subway atleast bi weekly,, sometimes weekly but at other locations. They CHARGED ME $3 FOR CHEESE. NOT EXTRA CHEESE, REGULAR PORTION. The same cheese that usually comes with the price of the sandwich. To top it off, they said nothing until I saw how expensive my sandwich was. I eat the same sandwich and have never been charged for cheese. EVER. It is safe to say I am not dumb enough to go back a 2nd time. I can see why they are poorly rated. read more

I came in today for my usual tuna sub that I've been getting for YEARS. When I bit into my sandwich, a huge chunk of old, dry, and crusty tuna filled my mouth. I picked it through and close to 50% of the tuna in my foot long was old, dry, and crusty. I've seen subway employees scoop the old tuna from the edges of the container and mix it into the fresh tuna. This is the case for the old and crusty tuna in the mix. I don't understand why subway employees don't know that mixing old tuna with fresh tuna is a health violation and a great way to make people sick. read more

Stopped for lunch and wish we hadn't. The owner/manager made our sandwiches and the meat was inconsistent across our cheesesteak sliders. Didn't look anything like the pics. Hubby asked for jalapeños and she put them on both. When we pointed it out she took them off one sandwich and put them on the other as if the juice would move too. She then put both tops together and both bottoms together and put them in the toaster. When I pointed that out she acted like she didn't understand and her employee explained it not her. Of course they were melted together so she said, 'sorry.' I wanted to walk out but hubby just ordered me a fresh sandwich. I went to the bathroom and came back to a fresh sandwich with 1/8 of an ounce of meat on it. Wow, the unprofessionalism was running at an all time high tonight! The worker with blue hair was cursing and discussing "$h!t" being rubbed on the bathroom walls. Nobody wants to hear about that while eating!! We originally came for a burger but the lady was closing the door as we walked up. So I'm using he online option though the App. Upon arriving I was told to wait while they proceeded to make everyone else's order first, even though I placed mine online several mins before getting here. I don't understand why I'm placed last and made to wait when the express pickup is for faster service. Apparently, this location thinks the mask mandate is optional for them. Visited today at noon, and one of the employees making sandwiches and directly assisting customers was not wearing a mask. This shows complete disregard for the safety of both customers and fellow employees. Will not be going there again. read more

Clean restaurant, quick service. Good Subway to stop at for lunch or dinner. My only complaint is that I've come here for breakfast before when they should have been open (about 30 mins after the listed time) and they weren't. Workers were even inside the building. Hello this is Steve, I had to wait 45 minutes for my order and nobody else was here at the time. Finally i got my mozzarella sticks that were cold.. My server was a red head curly hair named Korynne she coughed very roughly before giving us our order, her eyes were very red, and gave us incorrect change. My mother died from Covid-19 and she looked very out of it i don't know how this establishment could allow someone to work while sick(or maybe under the use of the special flower) VERY UPSET to say the least i've been having constant bad experiences here! Subway is possibly the best of Salado's small fast food circuit. The restaurant is always very clean, the service is good, and they have a great selection. It's a welcome oasis for travelers and natives. read more

Order your meal online. This place takes FOREVER to place an order. I used to work for subway, and I know for a fact that when there are more than two customers, there should be at least 2 people in the line. If it is during a rush hour (I.E.: lunch), there should be three employees: two on the line, one at the register. They do not follow this. So sometimes, there is only one employee on the line. The manager/owner, whatever he is, stands there like a dictator, watching everything. He doesn't even help. The least he could do is run the register. Their credit card machine wasn't working today when I went in (I went in because I couldn't place my order online). I waited in line for 10 minutes before I overheard one of the employees ask the other if it's "still cash only". The employee informed her that it was. NEVER did they inform the customers that they are only taking cash. So not only had I already placed my order, but I wasted time in line. So again, if you plan on eating here, place your order online. read more
