A Taco Bell in Salado probably isn't going to get a ton of love because people around here tend to prefer local restaurants over fast food. But I have to give Taco Bell credit for picking a good location. It's close to the high school and right along a major road leading toward a lot of the newer development in the area.
Compared to other Taco Bells we've been to, this location is extremely clean. After a big group leaves, it might take them a little while to get around to wiping down all the tables, but I've never walked in and thought the restaurant was dirty.
The employees aren't necessarily super talkative or overly friendly, but they do their jobs. Our food comes out, our orders are right, and for Taco Bell, I'd say the food here is actually above average.
With the introduction of the $5 Luxe Box, Taco Bell has unfortunately become a go-to option for our family more often than I'd like to admit. It's hard to argue with when you need something quick and cheap.
We've never had an experience here where we were really unhappy with the food or service. Overall, it's a clean, reliable Taco Bell, and we'll keep coming back when we need something fast and inexpensive. read more
