Qué bueno ver que un negocio finalmente ha echado raíces en esta esquina. Comí los tacos esta mañana: de huevo con chorizo, de machaca con huevo y de chicharrón con frijoles. Craving a real Mexican taco. Saw this truck pop up not too…read morelong ago and decided to give it a try today. I've learned not to expect much, food-wise, in Belton. But to my surprise, tacos were great. Ordered 3 tacos al pastor. At first bite, I realized the corn tortillas were HOMEMADE. Delicious toasty edges, regular sized not mini street sized and generously filled. Pastor was flavorful, tender, and accompanied with freshly chopped onions, cilantro and limes. The cook offered me salsa. OMGosh! Don't skip the green salsa. Salsa is homemade, fresh, full of flavor, and just enough heat to give you a little sniffle. I also ordered a house made agua fresca, Tamarindo. Cook blended upon ordering, making it almost into a slushy. Refreshing and sweet. There are a handful of umbrella covered picnic tables. Nice clean little spot. This one is worth the stop.
