You don't often see real smokers in the back with pit masters smoking the meats. so here's my feedback. 1 out of 10 Portion size- 10 by far one of the best barbecue restaurants for portions. Ribs 5. Understand these ribs were cooked absolutely perfectly. Tender moist fantastic smoking ring. I'm only giving them a five because they had a slight cherry taste to them and this is a personal preference. I don't care for cherry in my pork. Brisket 7 I requested a cut from the point of the brisket and not the flat. I got the flat and it was borderline dry. However the flavor was spectacular. I think it may have just been in the warmer just a little too long. Sausage 3 again the sausage was smoked to perfection. But unfortunately, I could not taste any sausage at all only spice. The sausage needs to be the star of the show and the spice to be a compliment. Brisket mac & cheese- 9 nice size chunks of brisket in a nice creamy mac & cheese fantastic. Beans- 1 I'm sorry but the beans had zero smoke flavor and it kind of tasted like they came right out of the can. A good barbecue place like this I know they can do much much better with their beans. Corn bread - 10 the cornbread came with my meal and it was absolutely perfect. A nice little crust on the outside soft and moist on the inside unbelievably perfectly cooked. This is one absolutely fantastic restaurant and I was very, very impressed with the quality of smoked meat they are producing. However, this is getting 3 stars because although I was given a large portion of friends with my fish and chips, it was obvious that some of the fries were old and refried which was really disappointing. The fish used for the fish and chips was extremely.... fishy! Maybe it's because I've had fish and chips in Norway, England, San Francisco etc but it was way too thick and just not the right fish in my opinion. Although the staff was friendly, when my order was ready they all kind of walked away and didn't really tell me if I could pay there or not, so I stood at the register for a few minutes before anyone asked me what I needed. They were still very polite, just not really aware I guess. The third time I dunno what the hell happened. I ordered the DBZ meal. What I got was 10 piece nuggets, med fries, med drink in a DBZ cup. But the drink wasn't the featured drink (which costs close to $5 à la carte). No saiyan sauces came with my order. No juice pulp or popping bobas in the drink. Also no DBZ toy. After speaking with customer service in the app I got a $10 off coupon. (At first they offered $3. Then I opened another ticket to email them - the chat bot is kinda dumb. They offered me $5 but I told them that only covered the drink. Not the sauces or the toy - which cannot be purchased separately. ) So a few days later I went back to order the dbz meal to hopefully complete the set but it seems as though they've run out of the toys. So I'm kinda bummed out but I'm glad I got $10 back through the app Btw before using the customer service chat bot in app I tried calling the number in the receipt.
