I came to the location at Mohegan Sun. I feel like the only terrible thing is the lack of tables to sit and eat. The staff was great. If I walk by and there's no line...I'm in! Otherwise, I just keep going. The staff is friendly and orders are ready pretty quick. Once you order, you need to wait outside until they call your number that your order is ready. I am glad that they do have a grilled chicken breast bites as an alternative for not eating my usual fried chicken sandwich and fries. They're both good, I have a choice for good or bad eating. haha They are only open for takeout and they do practice social distancing. Went here on August 17th 2023 for a bite to eat before the concert at mohegan sun. We ordered The Chic Fil A sandwich meal with Dr. Pepper, and another meal with the Chic Fill A Deluxe sandwich with root beer. It also came with Waffle fries. Cashier was very nice, and helped us with our order. Order was also ready in a timely manner. Paid with a credit card and it was $30 for both our meals. Both sandwiches were good, and we also tasted the chic fil a sauce, which was very tasty. We enjoyed our sandwiches. The sandwiches also tasted good, and it was nice and hot. When I was visiting Mohegan, I went here a few times. Definitely fast, delicious, and easy food when at Mohegan. The store itself is small and the menu is a snippet of what the main stores would offer, but they had the essentials! Had great nuggets, fries, etc. The coffee and cold brew coffee were not good but hey can't be all winners. The food though was a hit. They don't even deserve one star I got raw chicken and they told me that it was OK because all their chicken is checked with the thermometer and they serve it like that. I told him this shit was unacceptable and he told me don't cuss at him. I never cussed at him I made a clear point you're trying to justify raw chicken and it's very unacceptable, Matt the General manager needs to work on his customer service skills didn't even offer to replace it, and I told him I was in the casino and work in the casino. My best advice to the store itself is if you check all your chicken with the thermometer, you should probably check the thicker part of the chicken not the middle that's thinner than the ends. I specifically asked for fresh chicken because when I ordered food to go yesterday, I ordered lettuce only and got soggy pickles and bad lettuce on my sandwich. Somebody should serve him raw chicken so he can see how it feels after biting into it. This Chick-fil-a location is very unlike the other charming locations that most Chick-fil-a patrons are probably accustomed to. Food isn't as crispy in my experience, staff is significantly less friendly, and the atmosphere is very heavily influenced by its location inside the casino. Nothing against it being here, it could be some kind of an oasis within the casino if it were more similar to other locations. You usually aren't greeted, the cashiers don't often say "my pleasure" when checking out, and the generally cheery attitude are noticeably lacking. Not a terrible place but if it weren't for the branding, it would not be recognizable as a Chick-fil-a. Management probably just needs to emphasize the importance of positive attitudes and make it worth their employees' while to be here, if they want to uphold the values of Chick-fil-a at large. read more

Every time we passed it in the casino this Chick-fil-A was packed! When we ordered the chicken sandwiches were hot and juicy. Must be the great turnover in food production (aka sandwiches not under the burners that long). Highly recommend this establishment for a quick bite to eat. First time ever in a Chick-fil-A - I wanted to see what the big deal was. Plus I wanted a quick meal as opposed for a long wait, which explains why I chose this as opposed to all the eateries at Mohegan Sun. Typical fast food, but in all fairness the chicken in the sandwich was actually very good as were the waffle fries. The lettuce in the sandwich didn't look good, so I took it out. Prices were typical fast food - added with the location of course. Staff was ok. Limited seating. Tables weren't clean, but it was busy and there was no chance for anyone to clean them. You can say you want to stay, but they still give it to you in the bag, Located in Mohegan Sun, it's probably one of the more quicker and cheaper options depending on your mood. Not sure if I will ever go back to any Chick-fil-A, but it's better than probably a lot of the other fast food options out there. Stopped in for a late night bite with my husband before heading back to our nearby hotel. We each ordered a chicken sandwich meal with waffle fries. It was nice that unsweetened iced tea was available for a drink option. I hate ordering fast food meals (the once in a blue moon that we do) and soda/fountain drinks are the only options and you are typically charged more or have to buy a bottle of water separately) There is Chick-Fil-A sauce apparently. We heard another party in front of us request some, so we were intrigued and asked for some as well. It was the perfect way to bail out the pretty bland fries. (We should have known better, they were just as bland at the North Haven location) I'd say it was a honey mustard-ish flavor with a different type of tang to it. The chicken sandwiches were pretty delicious and there wasn't really a wait for ordering or the time that our food was ready. My husband went up to the counter for ours, but we also saw that workers bring them to tables too by using these weird vertical cube like vase containers that are different colored with different menu items. So instead of getting a number per say, you're order is identified by a match up. Like if your container is purple with a picture of chicken nuggets on it, that's the tag on receipt. Interesting touch. The seating part of the place could have used a bit more upkeep. You can see from one of my pictures the overflowing garbage, which was later attended to by a worker who as he was clearing some, he totally knocked over a cup of ice/watered down soda and ended up making even more of a mess. Thankfully we found a fairly clean table to sit at, but we observed 3-5 other parties of people wanting to sit. I have never tried Chick-fil-A but have heard about the crazy following for them. My friend and I were going to a concert and needed a quick bite. While the bite was quick, the line to order and to get the food was tiresomely long. We ordered 2 chicken sandwiches, nuggets, fries and a couple of drinks and that took 30 minutes. At first bite, I wasn't impressed. Mind you, we were super hungry so anything would have tasted amazing by this time but we didn't love it. Chicken burger a Cow's BFF. I have a love hate relationship with this place. I love it but hate it that there not in all the states mainly Hawai'i. This location is for the Mohegan Sun casino so you know they're going be busy no matter when time of day it is. Like all the other Chick-fil-A, they're not open on Sundays and it's not a 24hrs establishment like some of the restaurants in the casino. I believe they close at midnight but not entirely sure. The menu is small and simple just like In N Out Burger (a Chicken's BFF). Each time I've been here I get the chickens patties fried but you can get them grilled. Either way they're are hot and juicy and the waffle fries are crispy and just as hot. And always get the signature sauce yelpers. It's goes great with the burger and fries. If you do have a sweet tooth, the sweet ice tea should help your craving and the chocolate chip cookies are always warm here. Overall five stars. Not authentic chick fil a ice, the workers don't have that southern hospitality that all chick fil a workers all have down south. They don't carry mac and cheese, and gave me burnt fries. Upon entering the one way line to order, I noticed that all of the staff were wearing masks. We were quickly greeted and the gal that took our order was incredibly sweet. It was our first time at a Chick-fil-A and she was helpful and patient and taking our order. Once we placed our order, we walked down the one way line to the outer area where our food was brought to us once it was ready. It was a great and safe way for us to get our food. The chicken was good, but I thought it was too much with the biscuit. I probably will ordered different next time, but they were only serving breakfast at the time. I waited over 20 minutes to order my meal, then waited another 15 minutes to get the order, and meanwhile watched the staff all go on breaks or just walk off into a different part of the casino. Especially since this was right before a show and at their busiest hour, it was unacceptable to only have 1 person working the register with a line almost going across to Carlo's bakery. I generally don't leave reviews for this type of establishment but my experience this morning made me pick up the phone and open Yelp. I like Chick-fil-a but I am not as huge a fan as some. Was at Mohegan Sun looking for breakfast and saw that this location was open. Morning meals with chicken on a biscuit, hash browns and coffee plus they have fruit cups that would be perfect for my daughter. Great. Gave my order but was disappointed to be told that they did not have any more fruit cups. I think the cashier saw the disappointment on my face and asked me to wait and went back to the kitchen area. She came back and said if I didn't mind waiting that they would make one for me. I said my many thanks and waited off to the side. After a minute or so, a person came out from the back and told me they were out of apples and asked if they could put extra berries. Yes please, my daughter loves blueberries and strawberries! Waited a couple of more minutes and the same woman came out with a bag telling me sorry for the wait. She made me 2 fruit cups and gave me a certificate for free nuggets on my next trip. I thanked her again and told her not necessary. She thanked me for my patience and was on her way. I walked away with some much needed hope for my fellow man (and woman). I mean who does this in this cynical world. Chick-fil-a, your workers earned a lifelong customer today. The chicken on a biscuit was awesome, crispy and juicy. Hash browns were delicious. I visited the restaurant on July 5 the inside and outside seating area tables and seating were dirty with food crumbs and napkins . The food was ok the chicken nuggets were a little salty ,fries were good . They had a least six workers and the place was not over crowded ,can't imagine why no one could have cleaned the seating area covid is still out there. read more

Never had Chick-fil-A before so I was thrilled when I heard that they were opening at Mohegan Sun - the excitement was very real. Their whole menu is mouth-watering. From their chicken sandwiches and waffle fries, to their dipping sauces and refreshing drinks, Chick-fil-A satisfies their customers. I have yet to try their Frosted Coffee and Grilled Nuggets so I'll save those for the next trip. Their brand is known for their service so I was a bit disappointed at the staff's lack of enthusiasm - still nice people though! With this being the closest Chick-fil-A to Groton, if you come at the right time, it's always worth it. It's inside the casino, so you generally park in the summer Peking and have to trek across the casino to get to it, but in the winter lot, the walk isn't so bad. From my experience, the staff is trained and super nice as always. The food comes out in a decent time, even when it's busy. It gets busy super fast, but I mean it's fast food in a casino, people wanna get back to gambling. The seating could be better, it's very limited inside, and they removed some of the tables in the open area, which also limited it some more.
