I went there yesterday afternoon with the kids to grab a bite. The drive-thru had a decent line, but I felt like going inside and relaxing. Parking: Lots of spots, and found some in the shade, even! The Place: Clean, bright. It felt like a real "fast-food" family restaurant. The Staff: Incredibly welcoming. The Food: I ordered strips for the kids and some extra-crispy for myself. Sides of corn, mac & cheese, biscuits, and mashed potatoes. Some fountain drinks rounded out the meal. Well, we got our food all laid out in one of their large take-away bags so quickly that I was amazed. By the time I finished chatting with the cashier, the food was already ready. We got our drinks, sat down at a nice table, and dove in. Piping hot everything! Fresh. Delicious. I mean so good, that when I shared my chicken with my son, he wound up eating almost half of my food! My daughter housed the chicken strips, and I enjoyed everything I ordered. The best part was the district manager. He was casually moving among the guests, ensuring that they were having the best experience possible. Well, we were. His leadership is to be commended, and the entire staff was so on their game, that I felt like I was eating at a real sit-down family restaurant. Yeah, it's still plastic spoons, plastic containers, cardboard boxes, and paper bags, but between the food and the staff, this was no typical QSR. This was an excellent experience, that I will definitely return to repeat. I can't say much about other KFC locations, but I'll make the trek to this one again. You should, too! read more

The drive thru service was awful. The rudest person I have ever experienced as a customer there. I won't ever return this location. She definitely should fired. I hope someone is paying attention to how she treats customers when she is in the process of cheating them out of items they have paid for. Minor sure if it's a good thing but it seems the two KFCs I have gone to around here have the same issue- staff too preoccupied to help the online pickup people- Ordered online as I was getting something nearby- when we stopped in the worker was too busy talking to his girlfriend , socializing, to look at the two pickup customers to help them. Finally after 5 minutes they decided to help and grab the bags we had ordered that were sitting there the entire time. The order was correct so that was a plus. read more

We're back again because I love the food here and the incredible service. We are from New York and I do not eat kfc in the five boroughs yuck but this location is so good. can't give zero stars I would 3 out of 4 times there's some issue today I ordered 2 chicken breasts and a small potato wedge the person taking the order couldn't seem to get it right then pull upto window pay and that guy says to pull in the lot and they will bring it out after 15 minutes I went in to get my money back which that took another 7 minutes at this point I will not go back anymore there was about 7 or 8 people working whatever minimum wage is. it way to much for the employees here close the place down until you can get the appropriate help. this trip here today you should pay for the half hour of my time and wear on my vechicle kfc I really did not think you get any worse help but you managed to do that fire every and get the right help read more

I came here after a long day at the beach hoping to get some food. I go into their store just to get kicked out because they're low on staff. They said that there was a sign outside saying that the lobby was closed in pink writing which you couldn't read . The workers yelled and told us to leave and go into the drive thru. We went through the drive thru to get our food just to get it wrong and have food missing. They didn't wrap the food correctly and didn't at the food to the right spots, like a kfc cup with a Taco Bell drink . I was very disappointed because all I wanted was my food and all I got was a big mess. This made me very frustrated and unsatisfied. Will NOT be coming back. read more

I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich around 11pm last night. It was extremely greasy when I received it but didn't think much of it, I woke up the next morning sick as can be with food poisoning! Fiancé and I ordered through door dash around 6pm. We received the complete wrong order, with Taco Bell food instead of KFC. I ate what was there and my fiancé nibbled, but at around 9pm she wanted to try and order KFC again to get her original order. I honestly don't know how these other people have bad experiences here, as my hubby and i grew up around here & never had a single bad experience with this KFC!!!! Also, same for family and friends. lol SMH IDK if people make this up or if they may have had a stupid worker before who maybe got fired for this, but we haven't ever experienced bad food here, been ripped off or gotten sick. Are you kidding me? I wish I could give you 0 stars. I went to KFC a couple of weeks ago. I ordered a 12 piece grilled chicken with 3 sides. Cost me $32.00 + When I got home, I noticed that the chicken barely filled an 1/8th of the bucket. Also, the pieces were tiny and dry. It looks like they reheated it from the day before. I work hard for my money. KFC thinks people are stupid and wouldn't notice. Or maybe they think they are the only game in town. Sorry KFC, there are a lot of choices out there. Only because there isn't a -10. Placed an order online for a $30 special plus other items. There was no prompts telling me there were sides included, so I ordered sides. Arrived, saw that sides were included. Snotty cashier told me she couldn't make financial changes on online order: I'd have to reorder in the store, and then fight it out with KFC customer service online to get my other money back. This sucks but okay... I reorder in person and pay. I wait 59 more minutes and still no food. I ask for a refund from Miss Snotty. She gets her poor excuse for a "manager". She barks, "Why do you want money back?". I start, "I first ordered online.." She barks, "We don't do online refunds!!" I say, "I know that, let me finish explaining." She says,"I don't like your attitude and don't have to do anything for you, so you can JUST LEAVE! You're disrespecting us!" FFS... I say I'm not leaving and will wait all night (between my two orders, I'm in this for $80.). So I wait.. and she refunds my money. I ask for the name and number of the owner. I can't tell you how many horrible experiences I had at this particular location both Taco Bell and KFC selections from this particular location been particularly disappointing sadly this is the closest location to me I cannot stop the cravings when they come I would recommend not stopping by but you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes read more

Norwich is a bit out of my way but after the fire in the Groton store closed it down, I started going there. The staff was very friendly even though it was very busy every time I went there. (Maybe because all the Groton and New London customers were there?). Lines moved surprisingly fast and food was perfect. The Groton store is open again so going there for my Georgia Gold, but I'll definitely visit this store again if I am in the area. read more

Norwich KFC serves meaty chicken with just the right amount of coating, and the potatoes with gravy have that snappy flavor you expect at a KFC! They gave us packets of honey on request. The line was out the door & cars were lined up - they had plenty of staff and orders were flying out the door - luckily we were already seated! We'll definitely be back when in the area! read more
