My wife went to this location at 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon December 13, 2023. She wanted to get subs for dinner last night but the issue was they had no bread left. They are a Subway shop but they don't have any bread so how can I make sandwiches? I would not recommend goingto this location again. As always, the quality of the sandwiches was outstanding. We had a #64 an a #42. Both were hot, delicious. However, the sandwiches were finally ready 14 minutes after the Pick=Up time. I have never left a negative review online before to any restaurant. But i don't know what happened today with the guy finishing up my grinder. I asked for it Mike's Way. Everything is going well enough until it gets to the end of the line. This guy.. so much vinegar being put on. Too much. Waayyy too much. Dancing in his own TikTok world while squirting vinegar on my sub every 1/2 beat. To the point of needing to verbalize "That's enough!! Are you okay?" Jersey Mike's is thee best. but Idk what was up with that guy in Norwichtown today. Needs to be addressed. He put so much vinegar on my sub that it turned the bread into cold mashed potatoes. Great location! Clean restaurant and friendly staff, and if you have their rewards program you get double points on Wednesday! Bread is so soft and delicious, and the pastrami was lean and moist. Thousand Island dressing was bursting with flavor, and is now my new favorite! Only downside is the fountain beverages are Pepsi products, but it's not a deal breaker for me. read more

Seriously this location has gone down hill and their subs show it. A year ago their subs were by far the best in town. Now they are the worst! I don't know if they changed meat and there is new staff but I have given this location 3 chances since the change and I all I have to say is that is has gotten worse and gross since I have. I was in town, at Dodds Stadium for a NCAA Baseball Tournamemt. We decided to order for the team, after good results last year. I dealt with Cyndi the General Manager. She was excellent. The subs were great. We ordered a large variety. Jersey Mikes is by far the best commercial sandwich chain. She even delivered right to the bus. You didn't expect her to deliver, to the Subway, did ya. If your in Norwich area or at Stadium. Don't hesitate to give them your business. Extremely professional. I went last weekend and ordered the chicken parm sandwich and honestly wasn't that great, the meat was a very small portion and everything else was just sauce. I was so unsatisfied with the sandwich because after I paid more than $14.00 for the sandwich and then was that bad it was just overpriced.. When they firs open the food was great, but I think they did it just to impress and the customers. Really I will never go back there again. I was starving after Court on Thursday and saw this shop in the Stop and Shop complex. I was game to try something new and was not disappointed. Had the Roast Beef and Provolone my way (lettuce, mayo, salt & pepper) and it was very good. My favorite restaurant! The #7 (turkey sub) is the only thing on the menu when I look at it, nothing else in life compares to its greatness. The staff is always more than accommodating for my paranoid vegetarian sister and they all greet us like old friends when we walk in. The supervisors and managers are all so sweet, especially Lenny who has brought my order out to me and my daughter who is too young to wear a mask during the pandemic. Stopped for take-out lunch because we didn't feel like making anything ourselves. From the minute we walked in, the service was polite, helpful, cheerful and efficient. We also noticed how clean EVERYTHING was inside. We grabbed a #13, the "original Italian.... mike's way" and chatted with the young lady waiting on us, who shared her favs on the menu when we told her it was our first visit... In about 5 minutes from start to finish, including deciding what to choose, our order was ready and we headed home to enjoy an easy picnic. The large sub was well-stuffed with all the fixings and more than enough for lunch for the two of us. Delish, especially appreciate the fresh ingredients !!! I went last week for the first, and probably last, time. I had a coupon for buy one grinder, get one free which got me in the door. I saw the prices and my jaw almost bounced off of the floor. It is VERY expensive for a grinder store. One grinder was very good tasting and had a lot of food piled in it, but had way too much oil on it. The other grinder had good bread but was bland and had very little in it. Plus, they charged me for 1 at full price with only a 50% discount on the 2nd grinder. You're better off going to the Norwich VFW on Fridays for their grinders-you pay $6.00 there for a large, over stuffed grinder with the satisfaction that the money is going to a good cause-our vets! read more

I've been to a few Jersey's Mike's in the area and out of state, and to be honest wasn't particularly impressed by them, however after stopping by this specific location, I completely understand why this chain has such a excellent reputation. The grinders are hastily crafted but not at the expense of quality. The staff, especially the management is always accommodating, professional and most importantly extremely friendly. I was really impressed with how the service staff was able to quickly take my order, have a friendly chat with me, and deliver my sandwich to all my specifications all in the span of a couple minutes (5-8) during what seemed liked a busy afternoon . If you or your family are looking for a moderately priced, yet quality lunch and you're in the Norwich-town area, I would definitely recommend this Jersey Mike's. Great staff, amazing food, and a friendly atmosphere. Five stars. read more
