When you show up at 10p, you don't expect much. But this fine establishment absolutely blew my socks off tonight. We were lucky enough to show up to no line in the drive thru, grand. immediately greeted for our order, pulled up to the first window, tap to pay, speedy. No wait. second window, immediate diet coke in hand. Crisp. Approx 7 seconds later, a bag of steaming hot nuggets and SALTY fries. Unreal. Immediately after that, two McFlurry's in hand--that's right, a working ice cream machine. AT 10PM. literally thought I was dreaming. And just like that, in less than 2 minutes, we had our food, drinks & desserts and were leaving. Ordered 2 happy meals for my 2 toddlers, received 1, when I told staff I ordered 2 I was told I needed to turn around and order again because "there was a long line" and "what did I expect them to do go all the way to the register in the back" to ring up a new meal after they made a mistake. Please don't come here. I always order from the pawcatuck location. Just out of convenience I came here because I was already near by. I ordered on the app. So there shouldn't be any confusion. We get to the window and I could tell immediately that my drink was not the drink I wanted. I ordered the half iced tea lemonade and you can tell because how they make it - it is clear that there's a lemonade portion and an iced tea portion. This looked like all iced tea. Last week my #7 meal had one burger correct and the other wrong. We seldom order food from McDonald's because, come on, it's McDonald's. You know you're going to get greasy, not good for you food. But once in a while, its ok. This time, I stopped in with my daughter for a quick bite. First, the Frappe machine was broken. Ok, not a problem. I ordered a quarter pounder with cheese and bacon no condiments and my daughter the crispy buttermilk chicken sandwich. Cool. Get home, however, and I couldn't believe my eyes. I opened my burger to make sure there were no condiments but what I saw made me say "What the hell is this?" The burger patty looked as though it had been pulled apart in half lengthwise. I could see the cheese through the half stuck to that bun. The burger patty was also burned. These patties aren't actually grilled. They're cooked in a damned microwave - how the hell do you burn it that badly? Hands down the WORST McDonald's experience I've ever had. read more

Had a disappointing experience at the Westerly location. Took the survey to express my concerns and when it asked if I'd like to be called back, I've yet to be called. I called the "feedback" number only to find there are very limited hours you can give that feed back. So, I sent an email to the address and expressed my concerns, sent a supporting photo and said I'd like to be contacted. One week later, still no call from McDonalds concerning my feedback. Pretty bad location. Been a few times, guaranteed to mess up your order. Workers in the back can be heard cursing and saying obscenities, specifically Michael I think his name was. The girl working was trying to calm him down but he was pacing in the back repeatedly dropping the F bomb. Pure chaos that time. More recently ordered 2 small fries, received 2 mcchickens. PLEASE SHARE Last night, I went with two of my friends to Mcdonald's in Westerly R.I., at this specific location there is a girl working there who has a problem with one of my friends but I did not think anything of it as I thought that it should not interfere with my service or food. As we pulled up to the window we got our food and I opened my box of chicken nuggets, now after I consumed one of them I looked closely at these nuggets and realized in fact there was spit on them. This girl spit on my food during a global pandemic and proceeded to laugh about it after being confronted by her "manager" and us. She did in fact openly admit it that she that she did this. We were told to pull up to a parking spot where her manager proceeded to come out and tell us that she was in fact fired for this and that she was no longer working there. Today we learned that she was there all night still after the incident and is in fact still there working today for her shift after she SPIT in someone's food. Just thought I would share with everyone to let you know to be careful of going to this location as it's also been found out that this is not the first persons food she has ever spit in. BTW there were many other nuggets with spit on them this was just the most visible one. Normally I would not do this but during this time especially I believe this is incredibly not okay and needed to be shared. read more

Relax. It's a McDonalds. I don't understand all the venom directed at this fast food place. Is it really that bad? Stop being so damn cheap & eat somewhere else if it's really so horrific. I stopped eating McDonalds & most "fast food" about 20 years ago but I do eat it on occasion. Now my 5 year old is being brainwashed by Nickelodeon so every once & a while my wife &/or I take him here as a reward. So I was at McDonald's the other day it seems like every time I have gone there they seem to screw up my order. I ordered a happy meal for my daughter I asked for a chicken McNugget meal with extra fries and a gogurt even though I know it was an upcharge. I then asked for a cheese burger no pickle, and a medium fry. The medium fry had at east a quarter of them had nasty black spots on them. Then when I went to pay the credit car machine was down at the first window so o drove down to second one where they swiped my card and didn't give me my receipt. Then when I realized they messed up and didn't give me the gogurt I went insidE. The manager def helped with my issue as she knew I didn't get my receipt and heard my order. This location is notoriously bad at getting your order correct. Even when you do quick checks for the number...2 burgers, fries, check check...the burger might be a single cheeseburger INSTEAD of a double (happened to me) or your Bacon,egg, and cheese biscuit you were looking so forward to is infact an Egg Mcmuffin (also happened to me). Im not going to lie, ill sneak into this McDonalds for the yummy french fries once in a while. I have only been through the drive thru so i cant comment on the cleanliness of the inside but outside was fairly neat. My Last visit (in the drive-thru)..I just ordered a sweet tea.. (Large is only a dollar and its huge). The girl that took my order spoke broken english, asked me to pull up. I pulled up to the first window and it was closed and there was a sign that said to pull up to the second so i did. The girl handed me the tea and said thank you and walked away. I waived her back to give her the dollar and change for the drink and she refused to take it and yelled at me to back up my car to the first window and pay there. Whatever, I back up almost hitting a car pulling up behind me to find there is noone there AGAIN. I pull up waive her down again she is pissed! She gets her manager and in front of me starts to yell at him that its not her job to collect the money. Im still holding the dollar while they argue finally IM getting fed up and yell to the manager CAN YOU PLEASE TAKE MY MONEY SO I CAN GO??! Its funny to me now but at that time was irritating. They really need to do some retraining. First of all, when you ask for a large soda they don't fill them, you'll be lucky to get 3/4 of the cup, I swear they hit the medium button. same for the fries, the past 3 times I asked for a medium fry, they don't put more then a small in the box, I'm especially pissed about the last time I came here. I don't understand why people here seem to have such a problem with this Mcdonalds. I mean yeah it's not the best restaurant but again it's a Mcdonalds. The workers are fairly nice and if they get something wrong they tend to be fairly apologetic. Not gonna lie they don't have the smartest workers but they certainly make up for it by trying to make it seem as if they care about your business. Going later at night can be a tad bit of a hassle but they tend to be low on staff at those hours so it can be excused in my opinion. But over all decent establishment if just looking for a quick snack/meal. read more

Not very clean. Had a teenager in gym clothes walk out from food prep area to register and ask to be "hooked up with a cup", which he was. The female working back not wearing a hat.
