Seen some bad reviews that are out dated and figure this review is worth an update. They recently got new staff who are incredibly friendly and lovely people (China is the one thats served me). The store is tip top clean and tidy. Great place to sit down for a coffee or nitro cold brew (my recommendation personally). I've also done work from this place as well and the WiFi is very strong and reliable. About the donuts. I'm not sure what donuts other reviews are talking about, but stale donuts? Hardly. I've had nearly every donut from here and they're all amazing and fresh. My personal favorite is the classic glazed chocolate chip with white chocolate. It's amazing and I've taken home boxes of a variety to friends and they all loved them. Although vegan options aren't for me it's cool to see they have them too. Don't listen to the reviews from 1 and 2 years ago, this place must have had a serious overhaul or something because it's worth a visit and taste test. read more

My parents live in the area and have been raving about Knead for a while now. I figured it was finally time to stop in and give it a try! They have a super cute location in Westerly right on the corner with plenty of tables to stay and hang out for a while. We ordered some coffee and donuts and it was all great! My only critique would be the price - yes, it is on the pricey side, but they truly are artisan donuts and I would say they are worth it. 3.5 to be more accurate. Theres multiple locations of this place, but I ended up trying it while in Westerly. We arrived around 10:30am. There wasn't anybody else in, but this was a Thursday. The apple crisp fritter was fantastic. While it wasn't as soft as I would normally like , it's booming with fall spices and apple. The texture of the outside is chunky and somewhat crispy. The dough itself is somewhat dense, but it never felt dry. It was hard though NOT eating this in three seconds. The goat cheese and garlic Danish is good, but I couldn't feel feeling this would have been better fresh lot of the oven. There could have been more filling, but what I did taste of it was pretty good. The crispy dough in the outside felt either a little stale or wasn't as hot and buttery as it could have been. What I will say is either item was fresh out of the oven. I can only imagine this would have been even better, but that's the luck of the draw I guess. I wonder if the other locations are different in quality, but otherwise, Id choose wisely on what you order. read more

If I'm going to add those calories to my body- they might as well be bougie donuts. A box of 6 will set you back $26. We chose a : lemon poppy (Not lemony or poppy enough but I liked it because it wasn't super sweet) creamsicle one (again not strong enough for me but future DiL likes this one) a passion fruit glazed (my favorite out of the batch. You can instantly tell it's passion fruit) vanilla glaze with sprinkles (nothing new to see here folks) jelly filled. The jelly is delicious. And they're generous with the filling a purple donut. Sorry our person who picked them out forgot what it was. It did have candied ginger pieces in it. Another fam favorite was one of their chocolate ones. I guess I'd spend $4.50 for a fancy, delicious and fresh donut but sadly this place is not selling them. Fancy yes, but bland in flavor and borderline stale at 10:30 am. I love to support small independent businesses but not convinced I could recommend Knead Doughnuts. I would've preferred a friendlier greeting as opposed to none at all. The display and options were nice. The flavor of my doughnut was good, it was a little dense. A little costly (over $4). read more

I'm sorry, I will never buy a donut here. I have been in a few times but have been put off by the fact that no prices are posted, not even for drinks. Is this Westerly or the Hamptons? Very nice place. We had a hot Chi Tea Latte and It was excellent. Worth a visit if your in the area.
