My wife and I stopped in for breakfast one day and had an excellent time. The servers were friendly and very quick to make our order. We both had coffee, one hot, one iced, a breakfast burrito, and a sausage/cheese on an everything bagel. Our food was served piping hot and was delicious, and the coffee was fantastic. The coffee is ALWAYS hot and fresh, the service is always amazing and I often find myself stopping here for a quick mid-day coffee. I am obsessed with their peppermint mocha coffee. It's all the comforts of a hot chocolate but cut with a bit of coffee so it's not overly sweet or too heavy like most hot chocolates are. Honey Dew has got better coffee and pastries than DD and way better breakfast sandwiches. The Portuguese is so yummy. They usually have samples out and they know how to make a proper iced coffee. They pour it back and forth in a pitcher so you dont get a layer of undissolved sugar at the bottom. And the coffee isn't bitter or acidic. Severely understaffed. They had one poor woman working both the drive thru and counter which caused the service to be extremely slow. I ordered a chocolate "jimmies" donut which had me wishing I was at Dunkin' Donuts because it tasted off. The best thing I had was a croissant toasted with butter. It was fine, only the butter was very uneven, leaving a large clump of butter in the middle. The second star is generous and it's because of the cheap prices. Stopped in this morning for a quick breakfast with about 17 people (adults + kids) after spending the weekend camping nearby. We wanted to try something new besides the local Dunkin since we're all from CT. We were highly pleased at the quality of the food, various menu options, and amazing service! The group of workers who took care of us were extremely patient and helpful. The moment I walked in I felt I couldn't breathe. The fog of grease and heat clogged my lungs. Going through the drive thru would be a temporary solution. I ordered a ham egg and cheese breakfast wrap and it was poorly wrapped. I like the idea of adding a medium hot coffee with your meal for no extra price. I instead asked for an iced coffee because it was hot outside and there was no problem with changing that, the employees are very sweet. I did have a problem with my iced coffee though, there was far too much ice and it tasted like water, a lot of sugar and a couple of crushed up coffee beans. I would not recommend getting a coffee here but if you're looking for an unhealthy quick breakfast, Honey Dew Donuts is definitely the place. Just go through the drive thru! read more
