We have a role in our family about Subway: if it's attached to a gas station or a truckstop, don't bother. There are several reasons for this, but for the purposes of this review, I won't include them here. Suffice to say, you should also make that one of your rules. But this particular subway restaurant does a nice job. It's clean, literally shares a parking lot with my favorite hotel in town, and they have pretty fresh ingredients. The kid working behind the counter does a nice job, and the vibe of the place is laid-back like the greater community Omak, WA in which it is located. The usual offerings are here, although I get the feeling that when I order a sandwich here and ask for something like say, spinach... They actually put some on the sandwich. Other places will put three individual leaves of spinach on there, and act like they've done me a favor. Which is to say, when you order a sandwich here you get what you pay for... A sandwich. There are definitely many worse subway restaurants in this country. This is probably one of the better ones. I've done my share of driving and road tripping, and can confidently say this place knows what they're doing. read more

Went in for tuna and American cheese 6inch, amazing, highly recommended. The double chocolate and chocolate chip cookies are good. GATORADE.so.good. Red Doritos amazing. 5/5.perfect service. The workers were very nice, there was anew employee, I did help with my sandwich when they were confused. ambiance is so good. only took like 2 minutes for my snadwitch. the footlong double chocolate and chocolate chip thing, never had it, but wish I could. went in for a sandwich today, my sandwich is fairly simple, club with lettuce and spinach no sauces. employee used the same knife for 4 sandwiches not cleaning in between and then with this dirty knife covered in other people's sauces - used it to close my sandwich and ruined the whole meal by wiping the knife in my sandwich. unfortunately this is not the first time this has happened; always with new people.. today annoyed me enough to leave a review read more

I have been going to this subway location for a year now, they do a great job with the sandwiches always making it just the way I want ....and I am picky. Food is great and the staff seems to really care. We live in an area that is hard to find good people, the folks working there seem to want to do a great job. I recommend it. read more

I placed my online order an hour ahead of my arrival time, having learned from my previous visit (15 minutes waiting), figuring this would be sufficient amount of time for them to assemble my sandwich. Arrived at the location expecting my sandwich to be waiting for me on the online ordered rack, to my extreme disappointment, the rack was empty. I take my place in line behind the three other people already there. When I finally get up to the counter I tell them I'm here to pick up my online order. They scramble around for a minute digging through a stack of at least 3 to 5 online orders that they haven't even started. Very poorly trained employees. Manager nowhere in sight. read more

What can I say? A Subway is a Subway is a Subway is a Subway. Nothing really changes and we can always expect the same, right? Right. Kind of. The fam and I were staying at the hotel next door and needed a light lunch before my sisters wedding. The experience I had here made things a little different than the Subway shops I'm usually used to back home. Apparently that weekend there was a big event bringing people to this small town so, being sandwiched (no pun intended!) between two of the only non-seedy hotels in town, it was no surprise that it was packed at lunch. What was a surprise, was how the people behind the counter acted. First, as the line built up behind us, and then continued to build out the door, the girl starting the sandwiches was so painfully slow. Emphasis on painfully. I understand the great people of subway are considered "sandwich artists" but does your art need to take THAT much time? Luckily, back-up started arriving from I don't-even-know-where and sped things up a tiny bit. I did feel bad for them as they were trying to accomodate the rush in the store on top of the backup at the drive-thru window. However, I couldn't help but wince as the employee with the headset on gave an attitude to the people outside worse than any teenager I've encountered complete with exaggerated eye rolling and heavy sighs. I can't completely slam them though...again, this IS a small town, and I'm not sure they're used to rushes like this on a daily basis. Don't like to post negativity, but this place's service wasn't great. Terrible customer service, it's like the employees don't like there job and your asking too much out of them by ordering a sandwich. Don't waste your time, go to the Subway in Okanogan instead. At least they know how to be courteous. read more

Over the years I have grown wary of Subway restaurants. Many of them are filled with warm mayo and not-so-fresh cold cuts. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this particular Subway has some pretty great, fresh, properly prepared ingredients! In the first visit, we noticed they were careful to leave the secondary 'fridge door' like cover CLOSED when not making a sandwich, and on the second visit, the manager was even going down a checklist, taking the temperature of the various ingredients, cleaning up the segments, and /disposing/ of the remnants of bins before adding a Clean, FILLED one. None of this 'top it off and call it good'! I can honestly say I will eat here again! You guys have won me over- despite employees who are, at best, bored with their jobs and not real friendly- hey- hire some friendly people, okay? Then you'd REALLY rock! read more

Eating lunch there today I was not impressed with the one male I'm guessing was a supervisor or manager but I dislike hearing a supervisor criticizing a new employee on how he was doing something right or wrong do not get onto the other male I. Front of customer!! Then an older couple came in and couldn't quite decide on a sandwich and the same male was rude. Said to the older couple. "I said what cheese do you want?" That's not a way to come across to customers. This was about 11:30 am. Then about 11:50 a gal came into work, she was very helpful to I'm assuming the new employee. He asked questions and she explained and showed the male, was a much better experience for the new person!! Also the Diet Coke wasn't working. The first male informed customer he did all he could it's to bad?!! I have work in customer service for over 50 years. This is not exceptable. My husband and I visit Subway a lot, in many different cities. We are both business owners and even owned a successful food establishment of our own for a while. This Subway was clean and orderly but the employees were absolutely, 100% slovenly. We had been in before but this time, there were three employees. One of them seemed to know what she was doing but the other two were obviously not excited to be at work. The girl who made my sandwich had CHEWING TOBACCO IN HER BOTTOM LIP when she was constructing my sandwich (it was the girl with the clown (?) tattoo on her forearm). I kept just looking at her mouth and staring at her chew-filled teeth. It was so off-putting, I didn't even want to eat. The other employee who really showed a lack of drive just shuffled (literally dragging her feet) around the seating area and lazily stocked the chips. She looked sloppy. I'm sorry to say it because I honestly try to give a person a fair shake, but her oversized t-shirt and grubby leggings did not look professional and her behavior was as if she had a really, really bad hangover. Ironically, she was the girl with "ambition" ( or was it "motivation"?) tattooed on her forearm. Omak is a big enough town, it seems like you could find a few clean, motivated, employees who won't keep a mouthful of chew on the job. read more

I cannot allow this place more than 2 stars. The posted business hours say they're open until 9:00pm. My coworkers and I have been there between the hours of 8:00 - 9:00 on several occasions (including tonight) and it has been closed, dining room and drive through. When we tried to ask the Subway employee a question and they acted like they didn't hear us and wouldn't respond to us in any way other than slamming the door on us. read more

We travel thru Omak every few months for years to visit family. The first time we actually found this Subway open in the morning was March 2018..the manager was friendly & food was great. Now it's July 2018 & stopped again at 9am...yikes!!! things change fast...we were looking for breakfast sandwiches, but there was NO coffee (apparently they never make coffee according to the tatted gal) NO whole egg..NO fresh bread...she found some day old for us all with attitude. We felt like we were imposing... I think it's time for someone to find a new career. Needless to say..it will be the last time we stop there. As a consumer, I would expect a company to adhere to it's nationally advertised pricing. That being said, I also understand that this is a franchise and that it is up to the individual franchisee. I have become very disappointed with this store's decision to not follow any of the national advertising. They only have 2 subs on the $5 menu and those are the Veggie Delite® and the Egg & Cheese®. Occasionally they will have the monthly special, but that in not a guarantee. So if you are expecting to get a sub for a price that you seen advertised on TV, expect to be disappointed. In my opinion, if you are hungry for sub sandwich continue on down the highway to Tonasket and give your patronage to that store. At least they follow the nationally advertised pricing. Don't get me wrong, the food and the service you get at this store are what you probably have come to expect from Subway, just very disappointing that you can't get your food for the prices you see advertised read more

You can expect Subways to be basically the same from one to another in food. But, I came in around 1pm and found it empty of customers except for me. Now I know why. The employees were not rushed, but would not even make eye contact. When I was surprised about the 5 dollar subway being more expensive, because of sales tax (I come from a state without it), I was treated coldly by both of the employees. I know that employees of these restaurants come and go, but I would not go back there. read more
