One of the best service I have ever received. The food was really good too. Highly reccomend, also family friendly.

Great Food and service. Enjoy going to the Oroville WA. one all the time. Great staff.

Really nice people. They make you (or us anyways haha) feel like you're at home. The bar is beautiful and the drinks are awesome! Only bar in the town I like ~ read more

Food was delicious. I've been to many Mexican restaurants but this one beats them all. Margs we're delicious.

Great food and amazing service!!!! The environment was authentic, as was the food!!! A must visit

Fantastic food with great authentic decor in the restaurant Owners are a wonderful couple. Portions are very large so make sure your hungry!! Very large menu and reasonably priced as well. I would recommend this dinning experience to all who enjoy Mexican fare. read more

Super friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and tasty vegetarian options. I will certainly be back!

All of the spices that were forgotten in the food somehow ended up in the salsa which was literally inedible. Holy shit. Medium has never felt so spicy. read more

I would give this place more stars if I could. First, the decor is the most beautiful I've seen in a Mexican restaurant. They've imported the furniture, which appears to be hand painted, from Mexico. There are awesome murals by a very talented artist, every one different, on all the walls. The menu is extensive and the selections are different than most Mexican restaurants. I believe the cuisine originated in an area which isn't overly Tex/Mex in style. Their pico contained cabbage, for example. Salsa was not overly hot but was tasty. Hubby had a beef burrito - can't remember what kind, but it was shredded - and I had a new vegetarian burrito with potatoes and other veggies which covered the plate. I ate half of it and was stuffed, but we were able to take our extras with us. Prices were very reasonable. Our server was a young man with impeccable customer service skills. Turns out the gal at the local visitors' center won't go anywhere else when she eats out, so that says something. We love good Mexican food and wish this place wasn't so far away. read more

The food was really good, but the service was even better. Personal service that is fast and very friendly. We loved this place and ate there two of the four nights we were in town on a hunting trip. Carne Asada and Pollo con Arroz were both great. Give this place a try. read more

We stopped for lunch at this nice family Mexican restaurant. We were greeted by a friendly "amigo" and seated in a colorful booth. While the exterior looks like a typical highway cafe, the inside is a delightful space - full of bright coloured murals and carved and painted furniture. Immediately after you sit down, a friendly waiter dropped a big bowl of corn chips , tasty salsa and coleslaw on our table before taking our drink order. The menu is extensive - almost too many choices. I ordered the daily special - combo fajitas, my wife an enchilada. Prices are very reasonable and the portions are huge and very tasty. My huge plate of beef, chicken, onion and fresh green peppers for my fajita arrived on a sizzling platter - accompanied by a plate of rice, re-fried beans, salad, etc - enough food for two or three people ( but it was so good I ate it all). This is our first visit to this location of Rancho Chico ( there is another one in Omak we enjoyed in the past). We will return again and try another of their excellent entrees. read more

This place is absolutely amazing, the food tastes great, service is quick and friendly, highly recommend. We stopped in for dinner after 7hrs of driving. The food we had tasted great. The bar server had given us a few shots of tequila to go with our margaritas as well, super friendly. read more

Good food, good margaritas, fair prices. Great time.

Always stop by for dinner On my way through town. The food is always great and the service was awesome...shhhhh don't tell anyone, but sometimes they even give a free gift to their thankful customers. read more

They added a $90 tip in my bill without my permission. I can't believe how dishonest this place is. Review your bill carefully when you pay.

We go here often, always get great service and certainly enjoy the choices. I haven't run out of dishes to try out. Can be a bit crowded at times so if you go check your time and day. My wife especially enjoys the spinach and cheese burrito, the carne as ado burrito. It's our neighborhood restaurant. read more

Amazing food and exceptional service. Jovanni came by our table at least a dozen times to make sure we were set. Very friendly and engaging. Best place in the state. read more

Just stayed in Tonasket for a night, and someone had recommended Ranch Chico. Probably the best Mexican food I have ever had. Great service, and fast! Highly recommended! read more

This is a great local Mexican restaurant, something Tonasket needed for a long time. The menu is big, the portions are ample, the results tasty and consistent. RC is the only restaurant in town with a full bar (as opposed to a tavern that also serves food), and the eight margaritas on the menu are popular. I prefer the Original Margarita on the rocks. The co-owner & host Juan makes everyone feel at home; he is a great old-fashioned restauranteur. read more

They obviously microwave their food. The cheese in the enchiladas is never melted. After I ate Ranch Chico, I had a horrible stomach ache. Their tamales were served at a local event and several people got sick. My advice; if your craving Mexican American cuisine, eat at your own risk. read more

Have gone to Tonasket many times over the last few years. Each time we make sure we stop at Rancho Chico for food and drinks. The food is great and the service is attentive. Even when they are really busy, which they usually are. The drinks are strong and the food is delicious. I cannot say enough, I look forward to this trip every year. From the excellent food, to the free tequila shots and free dessert. You could not ask for more. Thanks Rancho Chico for providing a great experience every time I come through your doors. read more

I will never go to another Rancho for as long as I live!!!third time trying this place and worst time yet. Where to start..brings 4 menus for 5 people, and 4 waters. Brings ordered drinks after about 10min then even longer to order like she forgot we were there. She couldn't speak when we did order, couldn't even finish a sentence and had to look at the menus every time one of us ordered. Then we wait an hour for food with no refills and they bring my husband his food and it's not what he ordered and is literally a tortilla with lettuce in it ! Then argue him that that's what he ordered !!!! He hates lettuce for one !!! Waitress seems to be high and there's a kid that looks to be around the age of 12 working and serving alcohol ok yea that's illegal for one! We asked for more chips she brings the salsa and asks if we want chips. Then we go to pay and the kid has to look at the menus for pricing. My husband talks to them about the experience we got his soda free and his side of rice and beans ! To top it off we all now have diarrhea I'm sure I've forgotten to mention many things as this was just a shit show this place needs to just close read more

Love the decor. Food was pretty good, but not really noteworthy. They do have quite a few vegetarian options which we liked. Service was good. read more

Rancho Chico is the best food in Tonasket. The man at the head of this family restaurant is really great. We are always greeted with a friendly Mexican hello, especially since we are locals. The T-Bone steak and Carne Asada are my favorite dishes. We are often treated to free tequila whenever the main man is there. Rancho Chico is really great! An oasis in Tonasket. read more

Our family is a local and we frequent Rancho Chico's, at the very minimum, once a month. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Our favorite item to order is the Mexican pizza. This is the best restaurant in town by far. read more

Stopped by this restaurant yesterday as our favourite Mexican restaurant was closed for renos. And I hate to say, we may now have a new favourite!!! The Mucho Colorado Burrito, 2 thumbs up!!! Both taste and presentation were great, prices very reasonable! Will b back on our next trip south across the border. read more

This place is outstanding! I've had Mercian food in Mexico that is not nearly as incredible as this place! The service was incredible as well as the decor! WOW! Top 5 dining experiences easy! We will be back.... read more

Best place In the tonasket - oroville area, food is delicious, affordable. Owners are such nice people, all workers are sweet. Plus we got some free tequila shots. Will be returning soon! read more

I love this place. I grew up in Okanogan county and have frequented this and the Omak establishment for years. the service is some of the best you'll find anywhere. you walk in and its smiles and strong liquor with excellent food. I cant even decide on food before the tequila shows up. I recommend this place to anyone driving through as the locals have no need for yelp to know its good. read more

Food is good. We've eaten here often. The problem is the last time we were here on Aug 5 we got double charged on our credit card. We have been calling the restaurant on a weekly basis for three months. They keep telling us they will mail us a check and they never do. The last time I called was on Oct 25. The woman I talked to said she mailed it two days before and we would get it a a few days. It is now Oct 31 and once again no check. This is the third time they have told us they mailed it and we never get one. They seem to be just putting us off. read more

Average food but terrible service. I have been here five or six times, and each time I have had to ask for napkins and silverware. Each time my meal took forever to arrive. Each time no one checked up on me to see if I needed anything. Each time I had to track down someone to get my check. I have never experienced such consistently bad service anywhere else. One time a waitress even ripped up my receipt in front of me after I left no tip after being neglected for the better part of an hour. I might put up with the bad service if the food were good, but it's pretty standard and forgettable. The only reason I've been here more than once it that it's a small town and there are few dining options, but I'm done with this place. read more

The Rancho Chico located in Omak is a total 5 star restaurant with excellent food, service, etc... The Rancho's located in Tonasket is NOT the same. It may have the same name and same owners but the food is not nearly as good or as tasty. I live in Tonasket and we refuse to eat at the Rancho's located here because it sucks. It is well worth the 25 mile drive to the Omak Rancho Chico. read more

I'm embarrassed it took me so long to write a review of my favorite restaurant. I'm originally from Los Angeles and know Mexican food...and this is good Mexican food! I've eaten here more frequently than any other restaurant I've been to, and I've lived here a only a couple of years AND have to drive half an hour to get to the restaurant. I've rarely loved a restaurant enough to become a regular (or, I've loved it but can't *afford* to be a regular.) Thankfully, Rancho is very affordable, makes excellent food with huge portions, and also has lovely margaritas. I always have leftovers. Their two types of salsa (one is a cabbage-based pico de gallo) are fantastic and are even better if you mix them together. For entrees, we highly recommend the Carne Asada, Arroz con Pollo, Steak Picado, the Fajita Burrito, the Crazy Donkey burrito, the Chicken Mole, and any of the Camarones (shrimp) dishes. We also love their Chile Relleno and they have multiple other vegetation options, too. Honestly, the menu is so vast that I'm sure there are many other gems...but we got hooked on the aforementioned dishes. If you are regulars and order drinks, you might get a free treat at the end. The owners are incredibly nice and hardworking and always welcome us like family. Lastly, the interior is so bright, colorful, and elaborate that a visit will always cheer you up. Hands down, the best restaurant in the area. Enjoy! read more

clean and air conditioned, traditional mexican decor. also has full service bar. prices were competitive with california prices in the east san francisco snd south san francisco bay area . good selection of burritos in the 9 to 12 dollar range, good selection of neat dishes- served with side if rice and choice of beans. decent size portion. attentive and friendly service. salsa was bland. chicken mole sauce was not as complex in mingled flavors as i would have hoped for $14. in terms of cost we were a party of 6 who had three alcoholic beverages and about 20 taquilla shooters- spent just under $460 . read more

we live across the border, in canada's similkameen valley. we have eaten that the older rancho chico in omak, and liked it. so when this closer one opened, we jumped right in, and have been doing so pretty regularly. you only go back to a restaurant if you enjoy the food. but in this case you also get really warm friendly greetings and service, and the decor is delightfully memorable. more recently we discovered another mexican gem, this one in the omak mall between rite aid pharmacy and jc penney. i understand the owners are related to the chico family. 'sagain, we look forward to the warm friendliness of the staff. and i prefer their chili relliano to chico's, and we've been all over the menu without a disappointment. so try them both. you'll be happy. ron and dwayne read more
