a plate of tacos and a side of rice

Nice restaurant with a market attached to it. Taco platter is delicious. Place is always busy for dinner.

Oh man! This is the place to come for amazing tacos! And it's in Osoyoos, BC! If you want authentic, fresh, delicious tacos for a reasonable price....this is the place to try them. My absolute personal favorite are the beef tacos. The beef is tender, fresh and has the perfect bbq char with cilantro and red onion. However, they have several selections. My next favorite would be the pork with pineapple, which has pineapple and cinnamon spices along with the cilantro and onion. They also have chicken, spicy pork and even beef tongue if you are really adventurous (super tender and delicious). They also always include a selection of various spicy sauces, two homemade, and a few bottled. I have now come here several times and keep wanting to try the burrito and quesadillas but feel like, if it ain't broke, don't fix it! I also always get the guacamole and fresh tortillas and they are just the absolute perfect pairing to the tacos. Listen, if you want authentic Mexican tacos, that are just delicious, come here! You will not be disappointed!

Three 6-inch tacos with melted/fried cheese. Fresh onions and cilantro on. Guac on the side. Posole just visible across the table.

Short version: Go eat here; they make delicious food with skill and love. Detailed version: ABSOLUTELY YES!!! For lunch on Saturday I had three 6-inch tacos--one al pastor, one pollo asado, and one carne asada -- with fried cheese and a side of guacamole. My husband got the posole (pork and hominy soup). Everything was adeptly prepared by someone(s) who clearly know what they're doing; it was all super delicious. I can't pick which of my three tacos was best; they were all scrumptious and different enough to one another to make lunch interesting. The al pastor pork had pineapple in, which was a new one on me, and I'm voting Yes on it. The guac was ideal, literally; it was a 10/10 match for what I consider perfect guacamole. The posole was beautifully crafted; really, it all was. If I lived near here, I'd be a happy regular customer. I got a popsicle made of local peaches, nectarines and apricots for dessert, which was delightful -- tasty and not too sweet. Everyone was friendly and helpful. When I go back to Osoyoos, I'm going back to Marqueza.

Fantastic Mexican place in osoyoos. We came on the recommendation from friends who went there couple days before. Tacos and burritos were delicious and service was quick. I had the taco platter, al pastor and one beef tongue, which came with two tacos, Mexican rice and refried beans. I preferred al pastor over beef tongue as it seemed to have more flavour. Others in the group had tostada and burrito and they both came with raving reviews from those who had them. It is definitely must come back spot next time we are Osoyoos. Side note, they have Mexican market place as well and j was able to pick up some hot sauce and achiote paste for my future culinary adventure.

Good Mexican food. Came here for lunch. I had the burrito bowl with chicken which was very tasty. COVID friendly. Server wore a face mask and washed everything down. As soon as we finished with the menu she took it away to wash down again. Tables were cleared and sanitized straight away after people left.

Service was great, the food was a solid B and the quality of meat was good. Also one of the few places open on a Sunday evening.

One of the best Mexican Restaurants I've ever been to and I've been to over 100!…read moreRoad trip from Bellevue to Oroville and after our truck broke down six times still doing overheated transmission luckily we rolled into the Lovely Camaray motel across the street from this huge artistic beautiful restaurant. Our waiter was the wonderful Salvador who brought us delicious ice water super thin and crispy and hot fresh tortilla chips and their signature salsa within 60 seconds of us sitting down! The fantastic margaritas were delivered two minutes later. He suggested the three color enchiladas as I told him I like enchiladas which meant they came with red green and white like the Mexican flag two were ground beef and one was shredded beef and they were a 10 out of 10! The frijoles are homemade and the Mexican rice was excellent as well especially with all the sauces the pico de gallo which was also delivered with the salsa and the sour cream that was mounded in the middle of the plate as you'll see in the photos. My wife ordered her favorite which is a rose come Pollo served on another giant sizzling hot ceramic plate. The building itself obviously has some history judging from the old brick which you can see in places among all the hand carved and hand-painted chairs and tables it's like walking into a museum really looking at all the artwork it's just gorgeous. Oroville by the way is a beautiful part of Washington state and only five minutes from the Canadian border so this is worth a trip from the Bellevue area (270 miles overnight in Lake Chelan) if you want to see part of the state you probably never seen before that's just beautiful geologically. This little town of Oroville is cute historic and has super friendly people. We will come back to this fantastic Mexican restaurant again it was a wonderful way to celebrate Mother's Day. Salvador made a challenging day of breaking down along the road six times the air conditioning going out which was an addition to the caliper sticking two days ago which had to be replaced along with new rotors and brake pads. I'm sure there are other great restaurants in this town but we are definitely coming back to Rancho grande! Gracias Salvador! Jeff and Nancy

Regardless, it was still hard to find an employee. However, you could hear them goofing around and laughing in the back. I think I ate here before and was more pleased. Not sure what happened. Place has a lot of flare and decorations, but it wasn't busy and felt weird.
