This was my first time at this specific Subway--and it'll definitely be my last. When I was paying, I noticed the tip screen disappeared almost immediately. I didn't think much of it in the moment. But then, they didn't give me a receipt or even offer one, which felt suspicious. I asked for it, and as soon as they handed it over, all the employees quickly disappeared into the back like they knew something was wrong. When I got to my car and actually looked at the receipt, I realized they charged me for extra avocado I never asked for--and even worse, they added their own tip without my permission. I was absolutely livid. I go to Subway all the time, and this has NEVER happened to me before. I went back in to confront them, and they acted completely clueless--then tried to turn it around and blame me. After some pushing, I finally got my change back, but that doesn't undo the shady behavior. This was my first visit--and trust me, it's also my last. Completely unacceptable. i'd highly recommend that you monitor your receipt before using your credit/debit card or any payment in general. i called in an order for 2 lunches and went to pick it up---looked at my receipt after paying (big mistake)! they charged me a 20% tip! i tip for service---good or reasonable service, but i don't tip when there's no service. again, it was a pick-up order! i went back in and had them void the transaction and then i paid cash. what a rip off! no one had my permission to charge for a tip or take my money based on what they wanted. i won't go there again. ever! it's dishonest. read more

There are times when the ingredients are fresher or the staff is friendlier but I almost always have a positive experience. I love Subway but never thought to write a review because everyone knows Subway sandwiches are great already. But I feel compelled to write one due to the very friendly staff and excellent customer service I received today, August 3rd, in the mid-afternoon. First off, we're from SF where we're used to seeing folks still masking up amidst the Delta variant. The teenagers working at Subway absolutely followed protocol and all 4 of them were masked even though there weren't any other customers when I walked in. It's not like they quickly popped them on when I entered. And they were very nice, offering a friendly Hello and having excellent manners. I felt welcomed and I always appreciate that as a customer. Right away we were welcomed with really bad service from on of the employees saying they didn't accept any coupons. They could have at least welcome us and even say good morning. This Subway has majorly gone downhill. Veggies are not as fresh as they should be. Was eating halfway through the sandwich and then noticed some of the lettuce was wilted black. Then took a closer look at the rest of the lettuce and it was clearly old, and should not have been put on anyone's sandwich. The bread is dry and crackly. (It was not toasted). Came in for a late lunch around two o clock with family 8 of us and was shocked how rude the older woman working was. It was as if they didn't want to serve us, she was short with us and frankly rude. We order the sandwiches asked for olives and she barely sprinkled some on our sandwiches, asked for other items and received the same treatment. All of us were limited to what we could have and no one was in the place, plenty of side items available and yet we were treated poorly. Restrooms were out of order as signage on the door read "septic problems". Coming back from vacation in Yosemite and we stopped here. My daughter had waited for five days for Subway and it didn't disappoint. She said it was the best she ever had. Pretty standard Subway - we haven't been to subway in literally years so we decided to stop here after visiting Yosemite because A: cheap and B: nothing really in the area. This location is pretty similar to list except the buildout is really odd if there's more than three people in line it gets pretty cramped. Hubby and I got hungry on our way to Yosemite and decided to have a healthy lunch. Normally I Love Subway but this place suck. When we got there, the line was getting long. By the time we placed our order, a young gentleman was preparing our food and when he was preparing the mayo and mustard, a 30 something middle eastern man took over and almost screwed up my order. I think he was either a manager or the owner. It's understandable that he was trying to speed up the process but he was making it worse by yelling at his staff and screwing up the orders.
