We looked up Smokehouse 41 and were sold on ordering The Mammoth, which says it feeds 4 to 6 but happily I can say that, and fed eight of us with a little leftover. Unfortunately, they do not take phone orders, but I can understand - now that we arrived in person to purchase our order for takeout. It's a lot of food to be ordered and a risk should the customer not pick it up. Also, there was a long line when we arrived, the parking was full, and the outside and inside dining were pretty full as well. Although the line was long to place our order as it's made to go in front of you, it went pretty quickly. They have a great set up and they know how to move the line quickly. It can be very tough dealing with a lot of tourist, new customers who do not know what they want, but I think that the employees here did an amazing job, especially the man that cuts the meat at the front stop, and the checkout employees at the register were also very friendly. Now let me tell you, we got a full rack of ribs, half pound of pulled pork, half pound of tri-tip, half pound of chicken, half pound of sausage and a half pound of brisket. You get six rolls and two large sides and when I say large, I mean jumbo sides. We ordered the barbecue baked beans with meat, and they are generous about it, we ordered the macaroni and cheese with bacon and again very generous on the bacon. At the end of the line, close to the cashier, I asked if they can make sure we had all the condiments, including barbecue sauces we needed to go. I was so surprised when they opened up the box of our order and everything was neatly packed in a large box with all the condiments, and they were generous with those as well, including butter for the rolls and different types of barbecue sauces. They gave us paper plates as well. Everything was packed so well! This place was really cool, they had plenty of customers dining inside and outside. They had an employee monitoring the inside dining hall, and making sure everything was cleaned, and when customers left the table, quickly went into turn the table over. I will say that this establishment, especially being in a high traffic tourist area, did an amazing job! Food was incredible! My favorite was the ribs and the sausage. But the pulled pork was also delicious! I have to give the food and service five stars all the way around! Bravo to this place!

It feels complete and I LOVED their aguachile here!!! Spicy, zesty, chilled, and generous with the onions and cucumbers and avocado. It took longer to come out for sure, but when I tasted how fresh it was, it totally made sense. Each bite was humongous since I needed each component to make it perfect and I am so glad they gave enough toppings to complete each bite. AVOCADO IS NEEDED FOR SURE, the creaminess calmed down the spice and it was just delectable. It was so spicy that I had some stomach pain after, but the shrimp was also definitely basically completely raw as well. Take that as you will but every shrimp was perfectly deveined and this aguachile was a 1000/10. Thank you to the cooks and cashiers here! All super nice. We asked for more tostadas and they gave it to us free of charge. When the cashier told the cook, he was like "IS IT DELICIOUS" and we shouted across the restaurant that IT IS SUPER DELICIOUS. This will be my first pick when I go back! Most people got the burritos and stuff and those looked bomb too.

I wasn't expecting to find a Mexican restaurant like this in a smaller town, but I'm glad we stopped by! We ordered the chicken flautas, al pastor quesadilla, and albondigas soup. The chicken flautas were good, but I felt like they were missing a little something. I think having some salsa or guacamole on the side would have made them even better, though the hot sauce they provided did the job. Unfortunately, the albondiga soup wasn't my favorite. I found it a little bland and wished it had more flavor. The real star of the meal was the al pastor quesadilla! The meat was incredibly flavorful and juicy, and it was so good that I still think about it. The ambiance was nice, with a theme that fit the restaurant well, making it a nice place to sit down and enjoy a meal. Our server was also really friendly, and the service was good overall. Overall, Pazuelas is a solid place to stop for a meal if you're passing through Oakhurst, especially on your way to Yosemite. Just make sure to try the Al Pastor quesadilla!

Avoid ordering online -- very strange experience…read more We were on vacation and needed a pizza place that could accommodate a large group, so we decided to give this place a try. I went to their website, placed an order, and paid online. Shortly after, I received a text saying DoorDash would be delivering my order. Then I got a call from the DoorDash driver saying they had arrived at the restaurant, but the restaurant was claiming they didn't have a website and didn't have my order. The charge on my credit card showed the business name, so the whole situation was extremely confusing. I ended up having to cancel the charge with my credit card company, and since we had a large group with limited options, we had to go inside and place an order directly. Walking in, the place had a very strange vibe. It almost felt like a restaurant that was not fully set up or had recently changed ownership. It was very bare, there were no napkins in the holders, and the arcade area was completely empty except for a couch. The whole atmosphere felt off. Unfortunately, the pizza itself was not good either. I'm not sure what happened with this place, whether it recently changed hands or something else, but based on our experience, I would recommend staying away.

We had hoped to dine on the patio, but that was not an option at this time. Our server was as cool and polite as he was clearly inexperienced. I heard the table behind me order a glass of Reisling, and he said, "The white one, right?" Like most restaurants in Yosemite, the menu was rather small and limited. There wasn't much to choose from, frankly. The prices were ridiculous for country club lunch quality food. But it was still an enjoyable experience. My cousin ordered a burger, plain, with fries, with ranch and barbecue sauce on the side. I ordered a wedge salad. We ended up sharing, and I ate about a third of my cousin's burger. I was surprised how good it tasted. Even though it was definitely on the pricier side at $26 before add ons, the burger was great. My wedge salad was pretty good, but, I wish I has asked for the dressing on the side. It was drenched in so much blue cheese dressing that I started to feel really full after eating only about half of the salad. I took the leftovers home, but, unfortunately, they were bad by the next day. The ambiance was interesting. I can't say it was great, since everything was under repair, and we were surrounded by so much scaffolding. But we liked the Yosemite themed lampshades and lanterns, and enjoyed walking around the property after our meal. Overall not a bad experience. I would definitely want to eat here again in the future, after the remodel, whenever that may be.
