The server was absolutely attentive and very quick with my coffee, which I truly appreciated. I had two teenagers with me and they served us chips and salsa- even though it was 8 AM! Gotta love tex-mex! I ordered the chorizo and egg plate and the boys got huevos rancheros and the breakfast special which contain pancakes. We had all the butter, syrup and condiments in place on the table so no need to bug the waiter. Coffee refills were quick! Also ask for their fresh cantaloupe and watermelon juices- super refreshing and addictive! My only complaint is the green sauce is horrible and that's pretty hard to mess up in Texas. Red sauce is on point! Stop by- lots of space and tables to enjoy a meal and plenty of staff. Breakfast definitely delivers here!

Sauce was good and everything except the chicken was good. Should have been shredded chicken, but was dried out chicken fajita meat as well. It comes with three enchilada s, but Los Charros has decided to use small corn tortillas for the enchiladas instead of ones you would normally get at the store... So really you get two compared to every other TexMex place. Pico de Gallo was good, and comes with what looks like a smear of avocado on the bottom. May be it wasn't supposed to be part of the meal, or shrinkflation hit again and a half teaspoon fulfills their obligation. Server was attentive and kept my tea glass full. Thank you, you got that extra star for the restaurant. Overall, if you are just looking for a place to stop for lunch as you travel by Needville, try some place else.

Well last night we were having our Christmas celebration at the church and decided to have dinner on our way home! We are so very glad we did! We stop and went in and they have inside tables for eating right there! Along with pickup orders! We went to the counter snd and a nice young lady welcome us to Simple Simon's! We placed our order of a medium Buffalo chicken plus bacon pizza with a 10 piece order of Buffalo wings and 2 drinks! We paid and went and sat down! I went to get our drinks from the soda fountain, Zero Pepsi was our choice! Couldn't get the fountain to work! One of the employees came and tried and then went and check the tank! It was full, after trying it again it started to work! Steve the owner came in and brought our pizza out! We told him it was our first time here! We asked for our names and told us he would go get our wings! My wife and I tried the first piece of pizza and OMG! It was amazing, great crust done to perfection with nice golden brown crust both bottom and top! Cheese and buffalo chicken with bacon that was the perfect ratio! Next the bone in Buffalo wings were hot and just right on the Sweet Baby Ray Buffalo wing sauce! Steve came back by and ask how we like everything so far! We said it was all great! My wife who is Italian said she also saw they had Calzones. He said yes and would bring us a sample to see if she would rate it! We were enjoying everything we had ordered when Steve brought us a sample of the most popular Original Calzone! My wife and I took a bite and yes OMG! My wife said it was very good! We where just about finished when Steve came with a sample of their desert special Apple Cinnamon Pizza for us to try too! Well this just rounded the meal off! So I put the brisket in a chopper made chopped beef sandwiches. I talked to my brother about the meat and he told me "the next time order brisket from the "moist" end." The second time, I stopped at Ohl's I ordered from the moist end and the chewability was a little better (20.00 a pound). The meat had a nice smokey charcoal grill flavor, not like some bbq'ers who boil the meat first and then put t on the grill. I like the sausage (8.00 a link). I use it in my sea food gumbo. Oh, when opening the door to Ohl's, make sure you look down and watch your step. You could trip and fall.
