According to staff, it's because they are in the "outskirts" but in fairness the staff was polite and friendly Right across the street at the other truck stop there was an abundance of hot dinner food options and several people were there. Eating. At 9:15pm.

At five minutes before closing time, my wife apparently calls JFK Liquor (long distance) and asks for a favor. Since I'm going to be stuck there for our Anniversary she asks them to deliver a bottle of my favorite bourbon to the hotel. Go down to the Walmart thats probably a dozen or two miles down the road. Parking is good for about 10 cars but in and out is quick here.
