Rudest cashier ever! I went in to speak about being double charged, no big deal right? Well.. this woman tells me it was my fault... that I double charged myself and its impossible for them to accidentally run the payment twice... uhh, sorry honey, but you're wrong. The burgers at this place are pretty good. We have gone there several times and every time the burger has been fresh, and all of the produce on the burger was fresh! The fries are typical prepackaged fries, but not bad. One negative that I could point out though is the staff could be a little more friendly. The best food we have had in Needville yet! Our favorite and only thing we have tried on several stops.... the cheeseburger and onion ring basket. Definitely one basket serves two hungry people. If you want someone to wait on you, move along. You order at the deli section and given a number. You pick up your meal when called and grab your own drinks. We often drive from Rosenberg here when hankering for a great burger. We have been coming here well over 2 years. We have never had a bad meal. Our favorites are the burger and chicken fried steak sandwich with onion rings. Absolutely amazing. We live in another town and it's always worth the drive!! read more

Anyone getting diesel at Simon's Corner may want to pay attention. Big sign out front says $2.19, but pump charges you $2.39. Sign says nothing about cash for diesel. Unleaded does show a two cent difference, but diesel says nothing about a twenty cent difference. That's $8 on a $100 fill up or 8%. It should also be noted that when they called the Owner, his response, over the phone, was "f-you get off my property." read more

He had puff bars on sale for 4 for $20 (I know I should have known better) So I bought 4, I opened one and after the first taste I k ew immediately that it was fake. It had a botched piercing job. And a color I've never seen this flavor in. Not to mention PUFF BARS ha e authenticity codes, and low and behold!!!! They are fake!! All of them!!!! So I went in and asked for my money back. He said he cannot give me my money back if I opened it- I had opened one. So when I went to return the 3, he only gave me $9 back. Because "only 1 is 9.99" When I tried to confront him about this, he acted completely oblivious- but at the register tells me "you can't have 4 for $20 if not counterfeit" so he KNOWS he's selling a dangerous product. Well, while Simons does have pretty good food, I have stopped in two times in the last two weeks and the chicken flauta which was pre cooked had been sitting so long that the cheese was dry on the inside. But my biggest complaint is about one of the cashier's and I wont blast her name but when she waits on you, she is so busy in her gossip session with other people that are standing around that she doesn't even notice you there as she rings up you're merchandise. I dont like feeling like a third wheel when I'm at the register paying for my stuff. Look me in the eye and acknowledge that I am you're customer! Just a lovable country momma and pop style gas station/ fast food/ grocery store. Love their cajun boudin balls. And they serve fried okra! I love fried okra! Smoked turkey legs too! Just when I thought I had to wait for the yearly fair to get a great turkey leg! Great place for a quicky stop to get everything at once. Even have seating area to dine while traffic flows through. You will hardly receive an acknowlegement or greeting from the employees, and I mean while you're placing your items on the counter to pay.
