The food was good. The service can be better. I wanted to buy the complete meal but my EBT would not go through. When ever this happens they need to address it I was with $20.00 for gas but spent it on food. The ambiance was noisy. I do not recommend this place of business. It's been years since I last had a sandwich from subway. Honestly, nothing has change. The same menu as Im used to. I think they did add one or two new things as I don't recall them. It's always the same for me, a meatball sub on jalapeño bread with everything on it. Or a tuna on jalapeño bread with lettuce, tomato, onion and black olives. Still tastes the same. Nothing new, probably better to keep things the same instead of changing them over. This location, it's not that big. They did have some tables for inside dining. The fountain drink station was right across from the register. It's in a strip mall so there's a parking lot in hand. What I did noticed as I was looking for a location was that they had the sub for 7.99 on their website. I didn't mentioned it but did noticed that everyone was charge the regular price. Ordered online asked for extra on all the veggies. Got a sandwich little to no lettuce. This falls on management. They're either telling staff to be skimpy on ingredients or they're doing a terrible job at the most simplest of things which is following instructions. It's what a job entails. This is one of two subways close to me. They are so slow. I know the girl was new but they shouldn't have let her work by herself when dinner rush was starting. They don't wash their hands after touching the cash register and changing gloves. I'm sure this is a severe violation of California food handler safety. During the weekday lunchtume rush, gets pretty crowded due to the high concentration of businesses on Wilshire so I don't go during these times but other times, I come here to get my 5 dollar footlong (when they have the promo). The sandwiches are decent for the price and you can get it the way you want it in a relatively short amount of time. I like a lot of jalapeños in my sammies and they tend to skimp on this. I even ask for more and they will toss in 3 more pieces. :( There are a limited number of seats. I've never eaten here and usually just take it back home. If there were other sandwich shops nearby that had the same deal, I would probably give the other place a try but when you want a cheap filling meal (for me, 2 meals), I come here. read more

The meat is kinda scary -- the chicken breasts are just reshaped, pressed meat. Um, what? The best part is watching them carefully count out the number of slices of cheese or cucumber you get -- no more, no less. This location tends to be over run with moms and sick, sniffling kids. The parking lot is convenient, though, but often full with potential parkers circling like vultures around the lot. Oh, and cops love this place. I get my breakfast here quite often. I LOVE the bacon, egg and cheese on flatbread. And with a coffee it's $3.25! What a great deal. I like Subway in general but this is the friendliest crew I've come across. And Jose is amazing! He always knows my order and says good morning and is super friendly. This Subway is relatively small so don't come with a group larger than 3. The size also makes the Soda Fountain area a zone of contention as some folks are unaware that more than one drink can be dispensed at a time...so they hog up all the space and create even more congestion. Horrible experience from the lines being out the door, to finally getting my order and dealing with the ride supervisor. Her name if I can remember is Sara who consistently tried to up-sale everything, ( if I'm asking for a veggie patty or veggie delight why the hell would I want to add bacon?) and always yelling at her workers in front of customers.( totally unprofessional) when I finally get my sandwich I return home only to find my child's milk is spoiled which tells me they obviously don't check there dates. The restaurant is clean for the most part until your waiting in line and you see the prep table in the back.( horrific).
