So I'm a Subway aficionado....I've reviewed this store a few times, in fact my last review was 5* due to the excellent service.....but I had a terrible experience today from Server 0505! No name tag so I'm going from the receipt, which I had to ask for and was told to lean over and take from the till :( There was a lot of attitude being served, as I had to repeat my order 3 times, I was corrected on my pronunciation of tomato, I had to wait while the server rearranged the bread, my sandwich was thrown together and it spilled out everywhere when I ate it, and I was rudely told to wait when I pointed out I was adding a drink to my order after the disaster of a sandwich was made. I don't know what happened to her day but she was obviously taking it out on customers. There are other Subways within a small area, with attitude like this I think I'll try the one beside TJMaxx instead. read more

He was a fabulous sandwich, creator and very, however, he has only been on the job for five days and wasn't able to properly ring us up and then couldn't offer a refund so that was challenging. Service is atrocious from the rude woman named Grams. We eat here regularly and all local employees are nice, friendly and accommodating. Grams is a real piece of work and should be fired for insulting customers who ask to use the bathroom. If the restaurant policy is NOT to allow the public to use the bathroom, especially when COVID still exists and I need to relive myself then this place should just close. Walking a football field away to use a public bathroom is unacceptable when this store previous to COVID had a bathroom for it's customers. Food is always the same... I come here pretty often and I just have to say of ask the subways that I've been to on Maui this had to be my favorite. These guys take pride in making the sandwiches and salads. I like how they put your sandwich and chips on a basket if you're dining in the restaurant. They have wonderful customer service here, friendly and airways smiling and very helpful. read more

Sandwiches are great. Service is strange. I work in a fast food restaurant so I understand how overwhelming it can be. However, there was only myself and one other customer with about 3-4 people working the front that day. So they were NOT busy. An older Caucasian lady took my order. I specifically remember asking her VERY politely if I could get the footlong CHICKEN & BACON RACH. I let her know what bread. She then asks me "what kind of chicken?" As I'm looking at what type of cheese to get. I tell her provolone. She then says it louder, "WHAT KIND OF CHICKEN?" I apologize and tell her "the chicken bacon ranch?" Bc at this point I'm confused. Do they not have it? Am I ordering this wrong? Like why are you rude? So many questions going thru my mind.we get thru the cheese stage and she toasts my sandwich. She asks me "anything else?" I tell her "can I please get a SLIDERS COMBO." I tell her which one. She makes it. My sandwich is done toasting . Another girl, younger with glasses finished my sandwich. Bc of her kindness I give this location a 3! she was sweet! The older lady closes out my order. I look at the price and notice the combo slider is cheaper. I ask her if that comes with a drink and she says "yea it does but you're going to have to pay 4.99." I'm well aware of the price hence the reason I asked for the combo. And you already knew I wanted it since you made 2 sliders. Common sense. Smh. I remained calm and courteous. However, I did the math in my head when I gave her the money to pay. She owed me 2¢ and gave me 1 instead. It's a penny, nothing to cry over. But if your customer service skills are blegh, then at least give the correct amount of change. Y'all know me, I'm HUGE on customer service. So this really grinds my gears. I can understand if I was rude, but I was polite to begin with. Cleanliness needs to be worked on. Walked in and saw trash on The tables and tables needing to be wiped down. I think I'll stick to the Maui Mall location for now. They gave 10/10 service. read more

The sandwiches are always nice, but the service and inability to answer phone calls is terrible.. I called 4 times (full-length rings), on my way to work to put in an order for pickup, only to have each call screened. I show up to make an order with 3 folks in front of me (being helped) by 2 employees, one training. As soon as I got there, 2 more employees walk in to start their shift, so I make a phone call (while in line) to the store to see if I had the right number- every employee (all 4) ignored my call. I went about my business, never mentioning anything. The new guy made a perfect sandwich. I used to run a very busy Subway, and understand that the phone is to be answered and asked to hold, then the order taken after the sandwich orders on the "Line" are paid for. This has been an occurrence on multiple occasions, which finally made me decide to see for myself, and to leave a review. read more

The worker didn;t let me in and pointed to the sign that paying customers, which my wife was in line ready to order. All she needed to do is use common sense. You can pretty much count on getting a good sandwich at Subway. This location is nice because it's newer and therefore less grungy. The staff were friendly and prompt and the place was clean. Lunch with my big brother today we decided here over McDonald's and I'm glad I did! Food took less than 3 minutes, clean shop and all workers wearing their masks. First of all, Erika is awesome! She has a great personality and has awesome customer service! She takes her time making our sandwiches and makes them look like the ones you see on tv. Erika was a sweetheart to make the sandwiches how I requested... Foot long toasted, roasted chicken. one half was just chicken, lettuce, tomato, & light mayo. The other half of the sandwich was chicken with provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, jalapeños, bell peppers, extra mayo, & honey mustard. There was a bell there with a sign that said something like, "Ring the bell if your order was perfect." For damn sure, I made my daughter ring that bell. LOL. Anyway, the sandwiches she made were perfect. The other sandwiches that were made previously by the other workers weren't made like hers... seemed as if we were ripped off for a skimpy sandwich. This "Subway" at dairy road is the best out of all the one's I have been to on Maui! The workers at this particular Subway are always friendly and professional. They treat me, and all the customers I have seen with kindness and hospitality as if it is the first "sandwich" of the day no matter what time you come in. "Jade" who usually works the front counter amongst the others, is one of the most efficient when getting your order out in a timely manner. The young lady who puts the bread in the ovens always will give a smile from the back letting you know she keeps the bread fresh out of the roaster.... Excellent service and the food is what you would expect from Subway. Good, not great, but that certainly is not a bad thing.

SubWay refused to give me my sandwiches that were ordered and paid for on their app because I was using a shirt as a facial covering. Now, filing a complaint / concern about customer care protocol is as hard as filing unemployment. No service, no refund... refusal of assistance for what should have been an acceptable face covering for someone picking up a meal that was already paid for and completely put together. I was using a facial covering, I did not refuse to obey their rules. What's next your mask must be yellow and green and purchased from SubWay? I don't understand refusing to give someone something they've paid for and accusing them of not abiding by the rules when they are abiding by the rules. The person I was dealing with IS the Manager and she would not define the "Mask Policy" when I tried to ask about it, I was just told that I wouldn't be served. Now I'm pursuing corporate complaint instead of this being handled like adults locally. Can someone actually take my money and keep it whenever the mask your wearing isn't the mask they imagine is appropriate? What kind of nonsense is this? I'm beside myself that someone refused to hand me food when it was already paid for and made. What makes me more mad is I like subway. I normally leave there happy, and tip, but I cant ignore being refused service for something that was paid for, based on what type of facial covering I had available. read more

I haven't been to this location in a very long time but Jessica helped me. She was very customer service oriented and friendly even when I asked her where the cup lids were at. She has a pleasant personality plus the store is clean and organized. I'll be returning soon. read more
