Picked up a DoorDash order here. When I arrived the only employee was on the phone, I think talking to their boss. It somehow took over 20 minutes to make 3 sandwiches. I had another order in my car that went cold while I was waiting. It's a sandwich, it should take like 1 minute at most if it's toasted, and none of these were. read more

My friend and I both online ordered from this store this morning since we have a long day at work today. Her sandwich was perfect, I was excited. I opened my sandwich and it's literally only the meat and cheese. No veggies. Had to eat it cause I had no other lunch but it tasted horrible without any veggies. Very disappointing as I love subway sandwiches. read more

Giving a 3 * for the employees! They are amazing. However this might be the most mismanaged store I've ever seen. Horrible with inventory and constantly understaffing. I was impressed with the attitude and work from the employees. Otherwise they be getting a 1star read more

I came in today around 11am and i was help by a Mellisa (or Alissa, i had a hard time hearing her when i asked). The store was in amazing shape, very clean and organized, especially for morning shift when she was getting ready for the day. Her hygiene practice was perfect! She put a lot of care into making the sandwiches, and they were delicious!! Give her a raise is all i have to say. Thank you! Sincerely, A very happy customer:) read more

Haha I don't really go to this location much because there is one a few blocks from my house but I went today since I was in independence. But for whatever reason the young man who made my sandwich did a great job it was literally the best subway I have ever had lol it was rolled up like a j a little bit but it was great and everyone was nice I'll be going again read more

Subway - Spicy Italian sandwich - Sandwiches Near Me - Independence, Oregon

Well I was waiting on line to get waited on and they took the people that came in behind me and didn't even apologize

The rating is the same, but this review is for the poor customer service. Went in to order a sandwich today. There were several others waiting. Finally, a woman asked them about ordering & an employee told them they can't help anyone until they're done with a large order they received yesterday. They needed to bake three more trays of bread. The woman asked them if they could help the rest of us in between & was told no, they couldn't help anyone until they were done with the large order. Good customer service would, at the very least, been to inform everyone of the long wait instead of waiting for one of us to ask. I'd probably still be waiting in line if not for the customer that asked. read more

The store is double their price by cutting their portions of meat that they put on the sandwiches in half. This makes it way too expensive and not a very good sandwich read more

I hate how they never change their gloves when making your sub they go and handle $ and when you say something they give you additude also it's literally the dirtiest subway ever the Glass Nasty so dirty #Dobettersubway read more

The staff at this subway are kinda awkward but the food is pretty good. Restaurant wise the interior is very basic but clean.

Very very rude person waited on us. Definitely had an attitude and if this is the kind of person they want representing their company then sadly they have just lost our business. I also notice that management doesn't seem to respond to any of these reviews. read more

Wish there were no stars to mark. What a bunch of bull shit your open until midnite and you stop offering toasted subs at a certain time? Why be open? Thanks for nothing I'll never be back again. And your employee was expressing he was tired and didn't really want to serve us. read more

Horrible!! Been here twice and both times the produce was NOT fresh, over ripe mushy tomatoes, browning lettuce and stale bread!

Coming here is hit or miss. More often that not it's a miss. First off, the knives to cut the sandwiches are always dirty. I mean dried on food dirty, but just the occasional smudge of mayo. The service here is great conversational wise, but that doesn't make up for poorly made sandwiches. The veggies aren't that fresh and the cheese can be hard because of how old it is. The sneeze guards are ALWAYS dirty, and the place is generally messy and dirty with left over sandwich innards on the working areas. The one is Monmouth is a bit better when it comes to food and cleanliness, but their service is lacking. Neither location has sandwich artists. read more

Your experience depends on when you go and who is working. Most nights they no longer have meatballs or the toaster so be prepared for that. But the food is okay. The avocado though is meh. But the cookies oh yeah the cookies, fresh made white chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies! Drool. read more

Visit this Subway all the time and have never had any problems, it's a typical Subway order and get your food. They have never been rude to me and the line has never been that long. read more

This subway is the worst one I have been at. The veggies are not healthy and they dont serve breakfast all day long either. I know this was most likely the owners choice since subways in Salem do serve all day long but really how hard is it to heat up some eggs, bacon really not at all. I will not be going back to this one and will never recommend this one. I must admit this was my second visit and the first was not well either but i do feel it is good to give second chances but it was not good customer service the first time and still has not improved. Wish there was a way to not even give a star cuz rhis subway does not deserve any stars read more

Every time I go to this location, I'm not happy with the food. The ingredients taste old, the lettuce is brown, the containers have ice and frost on the sides. Subway is all about fresh ingredients and the Independence location needs to be reminded of that. I really hope they get on the ball and make sure they are only serving fresh ingredients from now on and throw out the old food instead of serving it to customers. Yuck! read more

Found the staff unfriendly and over charging for a sandwich that had a clear price on the window to the right of the door. Since I was very hungry, I had to make a decision. Pay the higher price or speak to the manager. Or my third option. Walk out still hungry. They lost a customer and earned this review ALL from trying to over charge me $1. Being from the restaurant business that dollar cost them a lot more. I will not go back to that location or any other one owned by that franchisee read more

So frustrating! One person charges one price for a sandwich and you go the next day and they charge a different price. I feel extremely ripped off! Not to mention the tiny bit amount of stuff they put on it. I love subway but sometimes I think it's not worth it. read more

I ordered 5 sandwiches on the app and pre-paid for it as well. Each sandwich had things missing. One of them had no mayonnaise and no salt and pepper. Another was supposed to be toasted but was not and was also missing mayonnaise. One of them did not have yellow peppers and barely had lettuce. Another was mostly meat and the sandwich had none of the sauce we wanted, and it was so flat that the bread covered what was in the sandwich we thought it was just bread that's how flat it was! Mine had no lettuce, when I actually asked for 2x extra lettuce. When I went to pick up the sandwiches, I waited in line to be polite towards the other customers that were irritated as well. The employees were so busy that I felt waiting was easier. When I said I was just picking up an order, the man handed my food to me and said "next time you come in, just ask for the order. That way you're not wasting my time or yours" I just said "okay" and left. The sandwiches were all extremely flat and had hardly any ingredients on them. Overall, underwhelming experience. read more
