Best wings so far. They shouldn't call their pizza Willamette as it is way closer to NJ bar style. Cuban great. Per my copilot, fries are the best. Issue is 26$ plain pie.

My buddy and I were starving after a long day of kayaking. He had never been to Gilgamesh and I was bragging how delicious there food was. We ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer, after a few bites in, we noticed something odd.. a fly was cooked into the fried pickle.. we had already ordered our pizzas. We made the waiter aware and he removed the fried pickles off our tab. We didn't complain about paying full price for our pizzas but felt there was an opportunity missed to redeem themselves

Probably our last time eating here since the kids are moving away after finishing school at Western Oregon. We have loved coming to this place while visiting. Everything we've had has been so Good, along with the friendly service.

Pizza was ok, but too much crust for our liking. We sat in the back (kind of outside) and they had live music. We were seated by the stage, and had to move because it was too loud to talk. The breadsticks were a bit doughy and could have used another few minutes in the oven. Salad was good, but the Gorgonzola dressing wasn't very good.

Great atmosphere with live music the day we ate lunch. The patio is pet friendly and fun for Daisy as she walked though inside to get to back patio. Helpful staff and answer all questions. The BBQ sandwich had a lot of flavor and the summer hazy beers are ideal for the season.

Late lunch with a couple friends. Our party had, and enjoyed: Hazy IPA beer Columbia pizza Caesar salad Cheesy bread Friendly service Clean dining area and restrooms Roomy Full bar Outdoor patio, saw a pooch out there. Nice selection of house brews. Def gonna check out the burger and fries next time! Fellow patron noticed my drooling stare. :)

Great open space in main room, love the high ceilings. Went with a friend who was happy they could see the game from their seat. I had the blackberry lemonade which was the perfect mix of sweetness and tartness. For food I had the McKenzie pizza on gluten free crust minus mushrooms. I loved the artichokes and olives on this dish. The pesto could have used a little more kick. My friend got the chicken Cobb salad which was huge. The chicken was grilled perfect but the bacon was a bit dry. All in all a great place to catch up and hang with friends over good food, great ambiance, and fantastic service.

This is the best local pizza in Monmouth and Independence. They have a large patio which is very enjoyable with professional servers.

On this particular Saturday night, the wife & I strolled in around 7:45 pm. We inquired to the person behind the counter - "What time do you folks close?" He replied - " Around 8:00ish, but please feel free to take as long as you like." ...What a welcoming felling... While we were enjoying our pint of Slice of Heaven (IPA) and Yugot Serbed Porter, the gentlemen behind the counter, started to bring in the outdoor furniture and heaters inside. Another two groups of customers arrive in the meantime and the gentlemen responded with the same friendly and courteous response he gave us. As far as food is concerned, this establishment doesn't have any food in-house. There are two food carts on premises, one is of Mexican cuisine and the other is Hawaiian Comfort Foods. You're also able to bring in your own food as well as order for delivery from several menus on the counter, such as pizza from Yeasty Beasty. This is our second time we have visited this Independence Brewery and we will definitely be back soon. The excellent customer service provided blends in well with the small town charm of Independence Oregon.

I saw a post on our town's community page from the restaurant asking for patron's to come in and…read moreenjoy their food and that they'd recently only had 2 customers come in. With 4.6 stars/reviews, we were excited to try it out and support a local businesses, so we gathered up our family and headed there for dinner. There were 6 in our party (3 adults, 3 kids). Unfortunately, our experience was one for the books, and not in a good way. Let's get straight to it. SERVICE: Both the person who answered the phone and the person who greeted us when we walked in were very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, they told us that it was their last day and that they were moving to Portland, so she was training a new person. The new person who took our order didn't know much about the menu items, but since we knew that she was in training, we asked for help and she got someone who could answer our questions about gluten free options and pasta sauce options. We waited a a good 15 minutes or so for ginger ale and 2 cokes. We waited easily over 50 minutes for our food. MENU: The menu is very limited, meaning there are not many options to choose from. They didn't have any juice or any "kids menu" items to choose from. Limited appetizers. FOOD: Probably the worst food I've ever had at a sit down restaurant in Monmouth/Independence. We ordered few things to eat family style since it was our first time and we wanted to try a few items. Every pasta dish was undercooked and flavorless. Every single thing we ordered tasted either old, microwaved or way too salty. Nothing looked or tasted fresh BESIDES the salad, which took longer to get than the actual food. I only gave one star for the nice person who greeted us and kept checking on us throughout the long wait. Otherwise, I'd give zero stars. It was a hefty price to pay for really BAD food. It was so bad that we went to get something else for dinner after we left there. I'm not sure if we went on an off day, or if we ordered some items that aren't usually made, but I was surprised by the quality of food, especially with such good ratings. Will not be returning.

Our first night in Monmouth and we were starving as it was almost 8 pm by the time we were ready…read morefor dinner, fortunately we found a great spot to dine at Hazel's on Main. We walked in, there were only two other parties dining there on a Wednesday evening, our party of five were seated right away and provided with water and menus. On this evening the menu was slanted towards Louisiana cuisine and we took advantage as we rarely have the opportunity to enjoy cajun cuisine. The Great: Lots of great local brews and wines. My wife enjoyed a wine flight all featuring wines made in the area. I enjoyed a couple local brews that were excellent. I ordered the Jambalaya while the wife went with a Charcuterie Plate, both dishes were solid. Finished off dinner with an order of beignets for a sweet ending. The Good: Service was solid, food did take a while as they only had one person in the kitchen preparing the food. We took the opportunity to relax after a long day of travel and enjoy our libations. The Okay: Some of the items featured on the online menu was not available but our little group all found suitable menu replacements with no complaints. Overall: Great spot, fun decor, nice staff, and convenient location to our AirBnb made this a great first night in town!
