Now, many people might think an old roadside diner that's 100 miles from the ocean might not be a good place to order seafood, but I had a feeling I was making a good choice. I didn't even ask the waitress how the scallops were - I just ordered. The scallops were perfectly cooked, enjoyable to eat, and exceeded my expectations. We are in this area from time to time and we've stopped by this location in our travels. We also got an item that was not 'ours' in that order. Perhaps a case of 'wrong bag' in a busy kitchen? When we order inside for just a person or two, they do 'get it right'. There are napkins, straws and a couple other items located in an area just past the cashier. Whether you are dining-in, or taking-out, you need to grab your own items from this area. The staff are pleasant even if not the most interactive. Last visit I had their fish value meal. I must say, this fish is good.
