Unbelievably terrible food and service. Ordered on the app. They screwed up half my order, omitted items, and when I showed them my order they blamed their computers. Refused to do anything about it until I insisted ... loudly. Then, the fries came and they were cold, white, and uncooked. Like ... it's Mickey D's. Not a lot to it. If you are in the area, take a 12 minute ride to the one in Madison, which is like the Ritz in comparison. This was dreadful. read more

I go through the drive thru for coffee only. The staff is very nice. I stopped going indoors for food several years ago because it lost its nostalgia; it feels so generic and not the McDonalds from the past. Way to institutional looking which is hideous! A lot of my peers are feeling the same way and no longer go to what used to be a treat. read more

It is 6:01 I live down the street and there was no power outage and these people close early and they are open late and she is just putting a drawer in drive through and they are just setting up the coffee... nothing is done. This is ongoing and this place isn't managed properly. They have no sign up to explain anything or answer anyone on a headset.....it says 24 hours on Google also for hours. Also no espresso which everyone misses read more

I can't hate. I feel people are too critical on the quality of their experience at McDonalds. I have to admit I played a trick on my co-workers one McRib season (yes, I consider it it's own season). I told them the epic tale of the ever elusive, ever exclusive, ever intrusive...Mc friggin RIB. How it breaks the mold of what you THINK YOU KNOW about Ronald McDonald, Ray Crock, and Dick & Mac McDonald's vision of what a burger joint menu should include. This smokey pressed pork patty is cooked to perfection. Im no barbecue pit master, but some have speculated that McD's uses a secret method of cooking pork ribs so tender for their sandwiches that you can actually eat the bones if the little racks of ribs!!! Others say its a formed pork abomination. But I digress....the meat of the sandwich is blanketed with sweet and spicy signature bbq sauce, topped with raw white onions and tangy pickles. Whew. Are we done yet? NOPE! It's all placed between a cornmeal dusted (because why not?) elongated grinder style bun. This miracle of culinary perfection is delivered to you in a fancy cardboard treasure chest, boxed up like a limited edition gift from the Gods. The restaurant itself was very clean and the manager working the counter noticed my excitement while I ordered 6 McRibs for myself and the rest of the office, and shared my enthusiasm. He hoped my coworkers were as enthusiastic about the sandwiches as I was! I arrived back at the office and doled out the goodies. I grabbed extra napkins because a good sandwich IS a messy sandwich, and handed them out as well. Everyone took a bite....I waited...and watched....and smiled....and waited. Even to the most seasoned McDonalder, the McRib is a new flavor profile and some would say a borderline "acquired taste". It's not for everybody. It was not for them. But this story DOES have a happy ending. This variable was calculated ahead of time and everyone willing volunteered to pay for their OWN lunch, so my sinister plan came to a close. One by one my office mates slowly got up and placed their bite-missing McRibs on the table in front of me. I was the richest man in the world. McRib MCRICH!!! Bwooohahahaha read more

They had are burgers sitting for the longest and once we got them they were soggy and soaked in greases if I could give this place zero stars I would! Love this McDonald's , my food is always hot and they always are pleasant . I frequent this McDonald's 3x per week . The language barrier I keep reading about is a accent lol... and the "Mexican" comments sound extremely typical of old saybrook and racist. read more

Guy who took my order was polite. That was the good. The bad starts with the app said this location was closed when it was in fact open. My large fries were about half full cold and the burgers were cold. 1 star for the politeness, but nothing else for the cold and half filled food. read more

BUYER BEWARE: I would vote -0- stars if I could. Having dined in NYC and European cities, I can also enjoy a good double cheeseburger after a long day of errands. This location has slowly gone downhill. Limited staff, long waits. Up until this past week the double cheeseburger always hit the spot. This time I decided to order the quarter pounder. BIG mistake. First, the mustard was so heavy it was running out of the bun, minimal ketchup and the meat had a foul smell, but I ate it. No walk in service and I was too tired to go thru the long line again. An hour later I was sick and bowing to the porcelain Queen. I'm done with this place and will switch to Burger King. read more

Yes, just yes. Wow my taste buds are in love and thriving. The vibe the aura the aesthetic was booming when I arrived. I have never felt more welcome and adored. The way the server told me I had to walk up to the cash register instead of them waiting on me, was ever so gentle. Best regards to this fine establishment. Love Auntie Noelle thank you to my niece Emily who's phone I am using to write this Love you all read more

Tonight we ordered Quarter Pounder with cheese the patty was well done/dry the patty was bigger than the bun. Also the 10 pieces nuggets half was cooked too long. I guess Mcds don't cook them fresh anymore. Last week the Mcds crew cooking was on point. read more

What happened to this place? I placed a mobile order via the app, and parked in a numbered spot in the lot. After 15 minutes, I called the restaurant to ask where my order was. The woman told me, "they already brought your food out." I told her they did not, and I had been parked in my spot for 15 minutes. She asked me for my order number and what I ordered. I gave her the information, and then she told me, "they gave your order to the wrong car, I will have to re-make it," and she hung up. Five minutes later, a carrier came out and handed me a bag and a drink. It was not what I ordered, but I had run out of time for this fast food experience. I ate the food, which was luke warm, but I had to toss the Coke, as it was WARM and totally FLAT---so gross! This is the second such experience at this store in a month, and so I won't go back. AWFUL! read more

horrible experience with the drive thru young girl at the first window taking payments and orders. she went out of her way to come to the second window to yell at me as to why I don't speak Spanish to the lady who gave me the wrong order. continuing to talk disrespectfully about me in Spanish to her coworkers going as far as calling me a dirty slut, a b**** , and I quote" this girl with the Mexican face doesn't speak Spanish" talking in Spanish assuming I didn't speak Spanish. in my opinion what does it matter? the fact that me and the lady could understand each other is what matters. she had an accent but I wasn't going to assume she didn't speak English. then she had the audacity to tell me it's because I'm racist and that's why I won't speak in Spanish. completely aggressive and disrespectful. I've never experience something like that and I hope I never do again. read more

Seven years ago I purchased a hamburger, put it in my pocket, forgot about it, and just found that burger in my old coat today. The burger did not decompose at all, keeping the same level of consistency that I would expect from this dominant restaurant chain. After consuming the burger (although cold and a little tough), I found that it tasted the same as a brand new burger from any of these establishments. I give McDonald's only two stars for this review based on the fact that the catsup turned brown over that time-frame. Fix the catsup problem and I will increase to 3 stars. read more

No one wants to get off a 16hr shift and not be able to communicate with the guy working the 24hr drive through. Then to order food and not even have them give you everything you order. Like what's so difficult about putting the only side that comes with breakfast, with the breakfast sandwich you just packed....? If you don't respect yourself or your job, get another one. I've worked it before, it's not that bad. Want more money? Go somewhere else. read more

I pulled into the drive thru at 11:45 pm and sat there for 10 minutes before I pulled to the window to have the lady shut the lights off and empty the register 5 minutes early. Be aware that this location near the shoreline charges $2.25 for a bottle water.I also cannot determine what I wanted to eat and the girl said just said that the glaze tenders. When I receive them they have a very large amount of glaze all over the tenders and it was pretty disgusting. Although the place was nice it would've been better if the glaze was put in a cup so I get out as much as I want it or as little as I want it. read more

The people working at this place are VERY rude!! The Mexican manger and worker were very nasty towards me and my family, got our orders completely wrong and gave us even more of an attitude when we told them about it. Ontop of that they whispered something to eachother in Spanish not knowing I understand Spanish. When I confronted them about it they say "they were talking about their uncle" ( I am only saying their nationality so you know who I'm talking about, I am Hispanic myself ) read more

Didn't give us straws and I asked for a 10 piece McNugget and didn't give us it. Whatever you do don't ever go to this McDonald's.

My cousin and I came here to grab a lunch...his biscuit was harder than a rock, cheeseburger bun as well, my biscuit was soft but so dry I couldn't swallow it and the bun for my burger could've been placed inside a sock and used as a weapon. The fries were over cooked...and wait, it took 27 minutes for the food to come out. After we choked this meal down, we listened as the manger screwed up ever single order (and tried to blame his staff and, yes, the customers). read more

If I could give this place a negative number I would give it a minus 10. The cashier today must have thought it was funny they didint have the item(minute maid slushie) as she giggled as she told me the item was not available! I have been here several times before......food is always cold and the cashiers are like they were just pulled in off the street, they have no idea what they are even doing there! I would think if Hardees or Wendy's ever came to town, they could put this place out of business. Or better yet, get Johnny Ad's to lower their prices just a bit and everyone would go there instead of McDonalds! read more
