Honestly so disappointed they barely put any lettuce or turkey in my pickup order they put lettuce in half of my sandwich and it was only a pinch of lettuce so disappointing

The most disgusting food I have ever received from any Subway.

Just spent $40 for two sandwiches that we couldn't even eat. So disgusting! Lettuce, pickle, olives and onion. My husband ordered tuna and it looks like brown paste. So gross!!

Their ube croissant is amazing, flaky oj the outside and creamy on the inside. We've had their cream puffs which we thought looked better than what it was but still a good little treat. They are sweet without being overly sweet so you can easily eat more than one if you got the room. Everytime I've gone I've been greeted with a smile. The pastries are a pretty large serving size. We cut them, so folks can sample a bit of each. Mmm. Mmm. The ube filled croissant had a light creamy filling with flaky, crisp top layer and soft, fluffy inner layers. I'm not a fan of ube, but I didn't hate this. The fruit tart had a smooth, dense cream custard with a variety of fresh fruit on top. Portuguese egg custard tart had a sweet vanilla custard with caramelized top layer in a flaky puff pastry crust.

Ever since my company transitioned to working from home, I don't get to visit nearly as often. Now it's more like once every year or two, so I decided it was time to come back and see if my old favorites were still as good as I remembered. I ordered two items that I used to get all the time: the tri-tip breakfast burrito and the Southwest tri-tip wrap. The restaurant is still a great place to grab breakfast or lunch. They have comfortable booths, a few tables, bar seating, and music playing in the background that gives the place a nice vibe. The menu is displayed on the wall along with their daily specials. One thing I noticed is that my old favorites weren't listed anymore, so I had to ask for them specifically. They also sell some of their food cold so you can take it home and heat it up later, which is a nice option if you're craving their food. The cashier was friendly, but I think she was new because she wasn't familiar with the tri-tip breakfast burrito or the Southwest tri-tip wrap. Another employee stepped in to help, and everything was taken care of without any issues. The two meals came to around $37-$39, with each item costing roughly $17-$19. It's definitely on the expensive side, so I was hoping everything would be just as amazing as I remembered. The tri-tip breakfast burrito absolutely delivered. It was a generous size, wrapped in a nicely grilled tortilla, and packed with plenty of eggs, cheese, and flavorful tri-tip. As I was eating it, I realized I forgot to ask them to add peppers like I used to, and I also wish I had ordered salsa on the side. Even without those additions, it was still every bit as good as I remembered. I would absolutely order the tri-tip breakfast burrito again. Unfortunately, the Southwest tri-tip wrap didn't have the same magic. The Southwest sauce looked a little discolored, the meat didn't really look like tri-tip, and the overall flavor just wasn't what I remembered from years ago. For the price, I expected a much better sandwich. Since I've had so many great experiences here over the years, I'm willing to give the wrap another chance because it's possible I just caught them on an off day. Overall, it was great coming back to a place that holds so many memories. The tri-tip breakfast burrito reminded me exactly why I used to come here several times a week, while the Southwest tri-tip wrap left me a little disappointed. Even so, I'll definitely be back for another breakfast burrito, and I'll give the wrap one more try before making up my mind.

Perhaps because the oil and vinegar or the onions were missing or because there was literally one slice of turkey on the sandwich that was $15. There were no tomatoes no reason given but I was notified prior to the sandwich being made but no substitute was offered. I should have known then and proceeded to exit. I wanted to love this place but unfortunately I'll pass.

Gonna have to add this one to the Fairfield food rotation…read more So I finally tried Big H a couple of days ago. Many people have recommended this place and now I understand why. Me and the wifey ate here for lunch and I was surprised at how quiet the place was for half the tables being taken. I could definitely see people coming here to study or work like a typical cafe. On top of that, the people working here are super friendly and professional. Big H is a sandwich spot with a hint of Greek flair. You'll find your usual Turkey, Roast Beef, Salami, Pastrami etc sandwiches. But you'll also see stuff like Pita's, hummus and falafel as well. This particular day I ordered the Chicken Shawarma wrap while my wife ordered the Reuben. Both were super tasty. If there was a tiny gripe I would say I would of liked to see just a tiny more amount of tomatoes in my wrap to balance out the flavors a little better but the wrap itself was still amazing. I liked the earthy spices that came from each bite of chicken. Speaking of chicken, let's talk a little bit more about the portions. If there was a common them between both of are meals, it would probably be the fact that both were very meat heavy. So if you like your sandwiches to be more meat heavy, you are definitely in the right place. Lastly the sandwich and wrap were huge. I definitely gotta give Big H kudos for the fact that they pack their meals to the brim. Everyone always complains that everything in California is just too expensive. Big H however is the first place in awhile that feels affordable. So while I had my tiny gripe about the balance of ingredients on my wrap, the professionalism, cleanliness, noise volume, flavors and most of all price all make my nit- pick a non issue. I can't wait to come back and try more sammies!

I ended up going with the chicken shawarma and my husband had the meatball sandwich. The chicken shawarma wrap was absolutely delicious! The chicken was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. There has a hearty amount of chicken. There was also a tasty creamy sauce, lettuce, and tomatoes, which balanced the bold flavors of the chicken very well. The wrap was also very large. This wrap was a 10 for me! So much so, that I wanted to reroute my drive back just to go back to eat there again. My husband mentioned he enjoyed his meatball sandwich. The bread had a nice crunch on the outside, but soft on the inside. The sauce was tasty with a slight pepper kick. There was also a lot of cheese on it. Overall, this place is a hidden gem. I love finding small businesses that offer great food and this place definitely hit the spot. I would definitely return if I am in the area and highly recommend it.

CUSTOMER SERVICE NEEDS IMPROVEMENT. I have been ordering…read moretrays of food from this location for a few years now. I usually call at least 1.5-2 hours in advance and request a 2:15pm or 2:30pm pickup because I need to be at work before 3. Most times, I end up waiting 10-15 minutes anyways inside the restaurant for my food, but I don't make a fuss about it or complain, I understand it can get busy. Although one time, the food was so late that I was almost late for work. That was the only time I told them I needed to leave and someone else would come pick it up for me, but the lady reassured me and they were able to wrap it up faster for me to take. I never really had an issue until yesterday. I called around 12:30pm and ordered a small tray of food and requested a 2pm pickup (just to give them extra time incase they were busy so I wouldn't be late for work). At 2:08 pm the lady working at the cashier called me and said my order was ready, so I told her I'd be there in 10 minutes. She replied, "It's ready, you told me 2pm, ok I'll see you". I ignored this statement. I got to the restaurant at about 2:18pm. She did say hi but she also said, "You told me 2pm, you're late". - which is very rude and inappropriate. I told her, "I always order food from here in advance and I still wait 10-15 minutes, that's why I said 2pm so it would be ready earlier, because I don't want to be late for work". She then said, "You always order the trays right? It depends how busy we are". She could tell I was annoyed and shifted her tone to a "Are you having a party? Have fun!" tone. At this point I just wanted to pay and leave - which I did. Why is it ok if I consistently wait patiently for my food even though I call well in advance, but she cannot wait the same amount of time for me to pick it up? There has to be mutual consideration. Dear owner, the food has usually been good and we have been coming to this location for years. But please address the customer service and tone of the lady working at the front desk. Thank you in advance.
