I'm so disgusted by this place. We were the first customers at opening and the floors and tables were dirty, and the women's bathroom was filthy. The man who made our sandwiches treated us like we were an inconvenience. He had an Inta Juice shirt on so I'm assuming he's working at both places since they are right next to each other. The spinach and lettuce were slimy, guacamole was brown, and I've never had a sandwich artist give me so little meat on my sub. I am horrified to think about how dirty the kitchen is. And while we were there an employee who must have had the day off, came in, made her sandwich and left. So don't tell me they're short-staffed. They have people that work there, they just don't do any actual work. Where's the integrity?! I'll never be eating here again. read more

For the first time in 11 years I finally went to the downtown subway. I don't know why I had never been there, especially since I live two blocks away. So I tried them out a couple of days ago and had a good experience. Note the downtown subway is closed during the off season. read more

There really wasn't a good thing about this place. Service was two high school kids that were more worried about trying to flirt with the girls they knew than actually doing their job. Bread was burnt, the area they assemble the sandwiches was a mess, and the veggies looked like they had been sitting there for days. More staff and a manager would have been beneficial this day. read more

As far as Subways go, this Subway was remarkable. Our sandwiches were like any other subway sandwich (good, as expected), but the customer service made this experience. They were out of veggie patties, but the guys working were so generous about it and catered to our indecisiveness while making our sandwiches. Also, the tables were clean, and they didn't kick us out when we accidentally stayed past their closing time. read more

We stopped in late at night, to get a sandwich to take with us hiking the next day. The young man working was so accommodating, knowing the sandwich would be much better if we kept the vegetables and condiments separate, suggested to put them in to go containers rather than on the sandwich when he was making them - he was right It was just as good 15 hours later as if he had just made it!! read more

I'm so tempted to give this a one star, but the girl was friendly and at least made an attempt, though it was ineffective. The sandwich I took from here was the worst I've ever had from a Subways. I had the egg and cheese on an english muffin. She initially took it out of the oven area, but saw something wrong with that muffin and threw it away. She went to grab another one from the freezer, and then proceeded to thaw it in the microwave. Problem was that she over did it and the top muffin came out hard. I gave half my food to our dogs. My husband's turkey sub with avocado was fine. And I'll confirm with the other reviewer that this location does not participate in the $5 footlong deal. Wow, one of the employees was so rude. Everyone was trying to be so nice and he was extremely rude to every single customer. He threw the sandwiches together as a sloppy pile, and shoved it into a wrapper. I used to work at a subway so I know it gets busy sometimes but wow he was awful. read more

Being that this place is a tourist location, I can understand the type of service I received here, it was noticeably worse then any other subway near your hometown. I placed an online app order and came in well after the ready time. When i came in, the subway employee looked annoyed to have a customer even though I was the only person there, still we both had that in common since she didn't have anyone else in there helping her w/ no customers. When i greeted her and asked if the order was ready to be picked up, she informed me she hasn't started yet, it was as if it was her last day and she couldn't care less. At that moment, another customer came in. He also wasn't acknowledged/greeted and by the time she started on my second sandwich, he left, a very normal thing to do when being ignored like that. To be completely honest, I wonder what chain of events must have occurred that lead her up to this point. I'd imagine it was something along the line of bad management (being left alone), tired of all the inconsistent customers (tourism) and being at that age where you learn the eye opening truth of having to work for a living. Bottomline, this specific Subway is a train wreck, there is another one less than 3 miles away. Not my first time to Subway nor not my first time to Estes Park, but was being a fan of subway and hungry while in Estes Park I thought I would give it a try. Going inside everything looked very clean and a good atmosphere, however, everything seemed to stop as we walked up to the counter. Employee's were a little less then "friendly" and the sandwiches were not made well at all. We asked them to be toasted and I think they were taken out way to early so the meat (on our "hot" subs) were not hot at all (we bought 5 total sandwiches -- they were all like this). To top off our visit, when we went to pay instead of giving us the "meal" price he charged us individually for the subs, chips and drinks. I didn't notice this until after the fact, so brought it back to his attention but insists the price was correct even after I pointed out the price on the board and receipt were completely different. Sending a letter to the management today, so hopefully I get a response but don't plan on eating at this particular subway again. FYI - Both Subways in Estes Park are owned by the same people. read more

Way too over-priced. Charged $2 for bacon, when at my home Subway it's only 50 cents for bacon. Charged $1.75 for my cheese. For my boyfriend's and my meal it cost us $32, way too much for a sandwich. read more

The food is good. But the prices are horrible. The line was out the door. Plus, the people were the exact opposite of nice. The location doesn't have good parking, but their is tons of fun things close to it. If you don't care about anything but the food, then come here. read more
