What can you really write about Subway? I think that once you've tried one, you've really tried them all. In fact, they base their whole franchising model on being able to offer consistency in their food regardless of which of the several locations you seem to be at and there definitely are a lot of locations in this chain. I've noticed half a dozen new locations pop up within a 5mi radius of this location in the past few years alone. I am pretty particular about my Subway sandwiches because I have been frequenting this chain for several years now and have come to expect a certain standard when I patronize one. This location would be my benchmark. So what makes this location any different from all the others? Well for one this location is open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. I can only name one other Subway that I know of that offers these hours. Second and most importantly, they don't skimp on the ingredients. If you are like me, you would visit this place for a quick post workout meal if you're on the go and likely as such you are going to be pretty hungry. The last thing you want to hear is that you'll need to pay extra for a few more spinach leaves on your sub. I've also found that since this location gets a lot of customers no matter what time of day it is, so their ingredients are subsequently fresher because of the turnover. Finally, what makes this location is the Sandwich Artists. I'll admit that when it comes time to it, the Artists here are really hit or miss but some of the best subs I have ever had from Subway have come from this location especially at night. Overall, I would recommend this place if you are in the mood for Subway. It is hands down the best one in the whole area and I would implore you to drive the extra mile or two and come here instead of other locations. There is ample parking right on the storefront, plenty of room and free wifi inside and since it's attached to a Citgo convenience store, there is a huge selection of accompaniments for your sub sandwich outside of the usual Subway offerings. read more

I usually never have a problem at this location during the day time the first time I go their around 12 the employe made me wait 20 minutes while he made online order I walked out before he even talked to me. Also there was 3 other people waiting for mobile orders on him read more

Went to subway to purchase a spicy Italian on flatbread. The employee started to fix my sandwich and as he was putting cheese on it the American cheese had black stuff on it. I noticed it pointed it out and asked him not to place that on my sandwich. He placed cheese face down on my meat. I was frustrated and after about 15 seconds i just walked away. This place needs to be inspected. read more

Subway located in the Shell gas station is a gem. Best Subway in the area, while several Subways have closed around here, this location thrives because they follow the Subway sandwich specs, always putting the right amount of meats and cheese, breads are always fresh. This is the second time I've had issues with this location. The first time was about two months ago I had ordered a sandwich through the app for my son who had come home late from an event and when I went to pick it up the the young employee said no we don't have any orders. So I thought maybe I somehow order from the wrong location I called the store from my car . I watched him pickup the phone and say he said he didn't have it and when I tried to explain that I ordered it non an app he said sounds like a personal problem and hung up. I went back in and show he and the lady I ordered it on the app and she went to the register and pulled me order. All that took 35 minutes! It was a joke! I just went in again today and ordered a chopped salad/protein bowl. I grabbed the bag and when I got to my destination the picture below is what was in it. There is almost no lettuce and the meat is in whole slices in a chunk. I will not go back there again. read more

BEFORE YOU RUN FOR YOUR LIVES SCREAMING AT MY CHOICE OF AN ESTABLISHMENT TO REVIEW HEAR ME HEAR ME!! This is the most badass Subway you'll ever go to in your whole life. Or at least in IL. It's joined with a gas station (that usually has reasonably priced gas) and it's got a relatively big convenient store kind of thing going for it on the side that's NOT the Subway. There's tables and a little sofa kind of thing inside if you're looking to sit down, wi-fi, CLEAN. It's a really chill little area. ITS OPEN 24 HOURS!!! How awesome is that? Driving by at like 2,3,4,5am (Etc. :X) and reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally want some FRESH food? They have fresher ingredients at this Subway than I've seen at any other Subway EVERY time I come here. They have BREAKFAST sandwiches if you're coming in and want something early morning breakfastish. Screw DD man. Come to THIS Subway. They make good sandwiches of course, pile on the ingredients really well but my personal favorite thing about this subway and the reason I keep coming back... Is because this is the only Subway I know that still serves the mini pizzas. You ever feel like you want to just eat a shitty pizza? I mean I'm an elitist jerkface about pizza, but sometimes you just want something like Burger King instead of Red Robin's etc. THIS is the place to go for pizza. They're individual sized, you can put on whatever you want of their ingredients on them, then they toast them PERFECTLY and pack them up for you in little boxes that keep them nice and hot. I love their sausage pizzas, and I encourage experimenting. For real yelpers, you need to stop by day or night and try this out. For me!! Pretty please? The people that work there are awesome. I was here today to get a subway like I usually do, however this time someone with anger issues made my sandwich. The employee broke the sandwich while making it and was very aggressive with it. When I asked for it to be cut in 3 as i always do, she cut it into 4. The sandwich was wasted and im never stepping here again. For refrence she was female and hispanic. read more

I've gone to this Subway for over five years. In the beginning, it was very locally influenced. The same people were always there and knew you on sight. Always a welcoming smile, even when I was a child. After it was redesigned and changed management, I stopped going as often. The service is fine and I like the food. However, the personal edge is gone, and it's just another Subway. read more

I love subway and everything, but it seems like every time i go past midnight, the people for some reason don't heat my food long enough, both this subway, and the one on oakton in the shell gas station have this problem. Not all Subways are created equal. This is one of the good ones. The staff was friendly and quick, generous with the toppings, and my sandwich tasted great. Everything was clean and there was plenty of space to take a seat and enjoy the food. A cafe, convience store, and gas station are attached so its great for multi tasking. Lots of choices for cheese, pepper jack is my favorite, and the sauce selection is huge. I don't take the time to review every Subway, but this one is worth the time. read more
