So today was our day to visit. Unbelievable that we got parking right in front of the building. Walked and hoped on line. They have a pleasant atmosphere with fresh flowers on their tables and staff willing and able to assist walking the floor making sure everything is clean and tidy too. Popcorn chicken and waffle fries for my guys and for me a Chicken Caesar cool wrap with "grilled" chicken. Requested crispy chicken modification and was denied, they can not substitute. What?!? How hard an ask is that?! Apparently not allowed. We were given a plastic table tent and sat down indoors. As we sat I got to look around a bit. They have coloring for kids as well as a cute "Sit with the cow" program. Scan the QR code and you get to have the cow sit with you at your table. Fun idea. Our food arrived in a timely manner and boy did we time it right. While eating the line for dining in went out the door. After that wave another Sunami came through, two athletic teams from UMFC arrived. First their baseball team then 10 minutes later their soccer team arrived. Talk about popular. So now for the quality of the food. The p popcorn chicken were really good. No sauce needed. The waffle fries were delicious, crispy in the outside and soft I. The inside. Now for the wrap, not so great. As you will see, where's the chicken?? Looks more like deli meat than real grilled chicken. It was a dry sandwich to boot. Thankfully you get a sauce to go with, ranch for me. I ate the whole thing with the help of the sauce. Lemonade was good. The reason the substitution was not acceptable, it's pre made in a sealed plastic container. Not really sure what the hype is about this place, maybe it's the service from start to finish, maybe it's the atmosphere that makes you feel welcome, or maybe they have a favorite that keeps them coming back. I suppose I'll have to come back and find my favorite.

The order was pretty simple so not sure why the execution was poor. I might as well have stayed home and had cereal rather than make a special trip just for the sandwich and the person with me got a slice of pizza. The food arrived in a timely manner. We started with the breadsticks, of course. I didn't taste any garlic on them, but then I am a garlic fiend. We both went with the soup and pasta lunch specials. We started with Pasta e Fagioli soup, and as it was endless soup with the special, we followed up with the Chicken & Gnocchi. They were both good. I had the spaghetti with two meatballs, which I see now from a previous review I had once before. Next time I will order the lasagna! I smiled when I saw it comes with just two meatballs, but they are larger than average and was enough for my serving. It was good, but I forgot to ask if I could have thinner pasta with it. I rarely use regular thick spaghetti at home. My wife had the Eggplant Parma which, unlike what the menu picture showed, only came with one eggplant slice! Reminded me of the Gary Muledeer punchline of telling the Maitre D, "My compliments to the photographer!" But it was a good experience overall and I expect we will go back someday. It had been over two years and our lunch specials only went up a dollar, which isn't bad in the new era of inflation.

I had a bite of it all from my table. We all cleared our plates and I told the chef to put the potatoes and wellington on the regular menu. Typically they have wonderful specials and are always worth going for. I have never had a bad meal there. I usually end up with a pasta or seafood dish- they are always so unique and flavorful. Dishes range from traditional Italian, to Indian, to Irish, to French, even Thai and typical American with a twist. The hamburgers are huge and my family loves them (I do not eat meat- only seafood), the steak is always my fathers favorite (very juicy), and its hard to mess up a Caesar salad but they do it perfectly there! I usually get it with shrimp, salmon, or calamari. Desserts are good, we always go for the chocolate lava cake : ) Specialty drink list in Euro Pub, snack at bar, and they carry Magners Cider!
